    Wow, this is a great video. I had no idea you could roast a 14 pound turkey in this oven.

    Love the Breville oven, work great for everything so far! Cooking my first turkey today, an 8 pounder. They are using the convection setting on roast so it cuts the cook time considerably. If you go back to :44 in the video, you will actually see that on the display. The oven will tell you when it’s time to rotate the turkey so it cooks evenly. I found this video very helpful for a first timer. I’ll let you know how the bird turns out.

      Do you have to turn off the oven when turning the turkey or can you just open the door without losing the settings ? Thanks.

    Do you have a write up of your method (which looks excellent, and I'm definitely going to try)? When I have a lot going on in the kitchen, I find it easier to cook with recipes.

    Is the roasting pan that comes with it nonstick? Are the racks/pan easy to clean?

    Hi guys, is it possible to cook on multiple rack at the same time ? say roasting potatoes and cauliflower each on a rack? or maybe even a third and fourth rack?

    Hi, What size of roaster are you using. My Breville Pro Smart Oven can't go over a 13" wide roaster. I can't find anything this size online.

    Every time I cook a turkey in my Breville Smart oven, it is over cooked. I just cooked 2 13 lb Birds today, After 1 hr 45 mins the first was reading 200 f. The 2nd I just kept in in 1 hr 30 min, still over cooked.

    I don't get it, its a toaster oven. How can an entire turkey fit in a toaster oven?

    • @alphonzodarty7021
      @alphonzodarty7021 2 года назад +1

      Some of these toaster ovens are nearly as big as a regular oven width-wise, and are capable of cooking something like this, if only barely.

      I'm sorry, I haven't used the Ninja, so I have no comparison. But I am really happy with this oven!

    There are TONS of 1-star and 2-star Amazon reviews for this suggesting that it is poorly made and can break down catastrophically.
    Glass door shattering while cooking, knobs breaking down, fan breaking down, door hinge breaking down because of poor design, the unfixable "E06" error etc.
    On top of that, tons of people having issues contacting Breville for customer support. Not being able to get ahold of anyone, long wait times, having to wait weeks for them to get your air fryer and make a decision on it, or never even getting contacted back by Breville.
    Makes me want to avoid at all costs!

      I give 4 stars to mine. We use it several times each week. Never done a turkey but will after seeing this video.

      This is my second Breville toaster oven. This one replaced the first which gave years of daily service without an issue. But yea, I'll keep those "Amazon reviews" in mind before I buy my next one.

    Really? Only 2 hours. Typically a 14 lb turkey is roasted for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Just checking.
