This is one of the most difficult pieces I have ever played and I think the one I have practiced the most in my life. Even with all simplification and editing together of different takes, there are still some wrong notes that I can't get rid of. The worst thing is that for the most part it doesn't even sound that difficult, because the octaves only sound like a nice melody if you get them right, and the widespread arpeggios only part of the pianissimo supporting harmony sound. But they are all painfully difficult to get in place. I don't recommend anyone to play this unless you have a highly developed technique already. I gave it my best, and I feel now that I can move on from my relationship with it. The only thing it gives in return, as a piece to be performed and listened to, is some kind of ultimate transformation of human experience with all of its emotions...
You played it delightfully! Keep the difficulties hidden, and just sent out the heart breaking song. Amazing! Thank you so much for your enlightening performance.
i have been practicing this piece for a while. it's definitely a killer but it's probably the most expressive piece i have ever heard in my entire life
Amazing! I’ve been in love with this piece since i first discovered it, so i was pleasantly surprised to see this in my recommended videos. Keep doing these amazing videos
He really plays with expectations by recapitulating in the dominant pedal... sounds like we're still in the development there, preparing for a recap! It's a stretch, but one could make an argument that it's all development until 8:00, and 8:00 is a recapitulation missing the 1st subject, with a short coda at 10:30. But, with the 2nd theme being firmly in B major, your analysis is obviously right. Just having some fun, haha. Needless to say, the writing at 8:00 is probably one of Scriabin's most miraculous moments the way it unravels from "anxious/forgiving" (wonderful description) to major drama!!!
I performed it today in my piano exam at the conservatory in Spain..I muss perform it in another audition in june again! Scriabin is one of my favorites too!! To find the balance in this piece is very important. Good work, I love your videos!! 🤗
Do you think you could analyze Chopin's Valse L'adieu Op. 69. No.1? I'm learning this right now but I want to be able to understand it and express it properly since I've never had a proper teacher. Thank you for all your videos, they help me tremendously and I love watching them. keep up the good work!

@@nemianyamele2265 yes it's coming in a few weeks!
It’s a killer but the journey somehow makes you feel more human both through humility and transcendence
Don't even say that.... Your work is amazing. Recording this giant thing and making analysis is already a BIG thing.
3:19 is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard
this piece along with sonata n.2 are totally coming from another world
