You should know another doctor here on RUclips said for this specific seizure that tactic can wake/snap her out of it. So not mistreatment on the sons part.
Oh
why was the son punching her
@@shenanigansflanigans another doctor said that by punching her in the gut it shocks her out of this specific type of seizure. It Probably stopped the progression from getting worse. Also, for this type of seizure, she probably stopped breathing and brought air back into her lungs
@Heather Louis doubt it was a gut shot, was probably a strike to the solar plexus leading to the diaphragm resetting, very painful, and it will be difficult to breath for a few seconds because of it

@@jonnybaze7449ignoranxe
@jonnybaze7449 Yeah I have juvenile myoclonic epilepsy and I watched a seizure safety guide in the hospital after my EEG and they said that you should never touch or restrain a person having a seizure though it was good that the one kid held her up so she didn't fall because if she were to fall it could have resulted in a severe injury.
For those wondering this is an absent seizure. These occur very regularly and in extreme cases like this the airways can actually stop and balance can be lost. The son was punching the moms stomach to open up her airways. Hope this helped😊
Edit: MUM GET THE CAMERA IM FAMOUSSSSS!!!
Punching someones stomach or at all is the opposite of helpful and can cause further injury like internal bleeding, what the son did is an example of what NOT to do when someone is seizing even if they are having breathing difficulties.

For those upset by the reaction... There are many types of seizures, including one type called Focal or Partial Seizures that respond to VNS, which is Vagus Nerve Stimulation. I'm currently going through a ton of tests because my neurologist believes I'm having partial seizures which (most of the time) no one will know I'm having, not even me. But my fiance has noticed I stutter more than normal sometimes, don't hear him speak to me, don't know what I'm doing or how I ended up somewhere, and will have absolutelyno memoryof full conversatios sometimes. Shut the fuck up fairy i hate fairys
Why the heck are you here fake fairy
Ur da fairy!
Absolutely not. A seizure is any and ALL muscles in the body contracting and releasing rapidly. Punching someone is NOT helping them breathe . When a person seizes you are simply supposed to make sure they don’t hit their head or neck/help them lay down as a seizing person will not stay standing, DO NOT mess with their tongue or anything, Call 91.1 , and if the person vomits you need to try to roll them on their side, not just their head but the whole body or AT LEAST from the torso and up. The person will slowly come out of this and they will very likely be very sore/uncomfortable, and confused so you will need to assure them a couple times that they are safe/okay, that they had a seizure, tell them that emergency personnel is on its way and ask them if there is anyone you could call (you’d likely have to ask to use their phone as they may not remember correct phone numbers to their loved ones right away even if they’re sure they do. Just telling you these things in case you ever happen to come across someone, since like MANY people, you weren’t under the correct knowledge. That’s totally okay because we all learn at some point 😊❤ and now you know .
If this video was truly a mother seizing up, I am so dumbfounded as to why her child is hitting her. Not only does that NOT help, it can also harm her further AND like I said when the person starts to come out of it, they are confused so she could even start HURTING her child, not realizing who he is, what’s happening, etc. bc all she knows in that moment is she’s lost herself, she’s not sure who everyone is yet and someone is hitting her. That is so dangerous 😢 WOW
@@JustTheJesters i'm pretty sure he's doing it to make her snap out of it, and he probably wouldn't do this if his mum or family hadn't already had this planned or set in place in case she had a seizure. if he was doing this out of nowhere, his sister would've probably done something about it

Bro took it personally
Well not really, hitting her brings her back (sorry idk if you knew and made a joke)
I did this to my wife to. She had problems for years but we found out the perfect thing to help her. It works, but I would only recommend this of its really bad. The thing is that she wasn't having a seizure. She was mouthing off and needed to be brought back. Punched her in the uterus and she snapped back into reality real quick. I'm glad kids are doing the same and that people are noticing how well a good cunt punch works. Spread the word!
Hitting the stomach helps the blood flow properly I think
@Daniel Why are you offended for somebody else? Anyways, some people use humor to cope and others have dark humor. If you don't like it, scroll past it.
❤️ Hey, The mom said in the original video that what he did helps her. He is doing good.
now this is what you call bravery.
I actually used to suffer from seizures wheni was younger and my dad used to have to hit me to help me breathe too. Take in mind, I bruise like a peach, so when teachers or adults saw bruises they'd call CPS or DHS. Then we'd have to pull out paperwork, medical records, etc to show judges the truth. I'm now a 21 year old woman who no longer has seizes bad enough to stop my breathing, I got to live to be a woman thanks to my dad and mom for not having fear of me getting taken away for abuse. ❤❤ Love to see these kids protecting mom in a way not a lot of people get to understand.
If you listen very carefully a man tells the boy "you need to help mom" and the boy responds "Oh"...Did anyone else notice that?
It was like it was coming from the TV
I think it's one of those cctv where you can watch it anywhere on phone and can also speak through it which I have too. Maybe the dad saw it and told the son to help her.
@@HahhaahLallelelwl Right I agree
Yes i heard a man's voice but why the hits to the tommy?
No I heard the whole conversation I've seen this whole video and it was explained that this is how they get her to come out of a seizure so yeah it looks like the little boys just being a mean little butthead but he's not he's actually helping his mother because the way that video ended that you have you kind of look like a oh without knowing the whole thing
I love how there calm about it and just help her without panicking.
I don’t think the little boy was helping
@@DoritoFlamez he was
@@DoritoFlamez he was by hitting her it helps her come back
im so sorry to everybody who suffers from things we shouldn’t have to suffer from🤦🏾♀️💕
I hope the mother is doing ok nowadays❤
I'm so glad she taught them something this important.
Holding breathe is common during a seizure and/or epileptic behavior. Waking the body and brain are imperative and these kids are phenomenal! Way to go kids!
We're not "holding our breath", our muscles are constricting our diaphragm, so we can't breathe in. Big difference.
What AMAZING children ❤️
This Explainer Lady didn't expect the ending 😂
She told them, they listened and blessing came, well done kids 😊
He was punching her! I’m sorry, how is that supposed to help?
That's because there mom taught her children what to do.. You don't expect her to die do you
