Haha nice! Thank you 🙌 Didn't know someone local watched my vids lol Yea I loved my Evo X but had to sell it little while ago. Got the s2k recently so gonna have some fun with this.
@@DrivenDistrict Thanks, I should had realized at the time that it would had gotten ahead of the stock RS in a roll given the RS is more mid power. And like you mentioned the honda engines are top end.
You adding mods to the s2000 especially with a high flow cat you won’t gain much power at all. You will need a tune to get any type of true power. High flow cat maybe 5hp without tune. I gained close to 30whp in the midrange with tune on a test pipe.VTEC at 3600 and redline to 8600. Car dynoed at 241 and 238 whp. I’ve owned 9 different exhausts. Spent thousands on intakes and different exhausts and with different diameters. None of it does anything unless you are tuned. The Takeda intake not going to do much for you as they do heat soak. I made 238 with a Fujitsubo Legalis R and with a 60mm test pipe. No real gains with a high flow cat and those break down over time anyway. Also, the delay valve in the AP2 slave cylinder plays a huge roll in shedding time. You are slipping slightly when you shift fast in the car. Upgrade to AP1 flywheel and AP1 slave cylinder you will shave time off as well. Overall the car does a 13.4 at 103mph.
Yea I know these cars don't make much power with just bolt-ons. I didn't necessarily buy this car for all out performance, but knowing me, I might go forced induction in the future lol For now just wanna amplify the driving experience and get some extra sound and even few ponies won't hurt...i'll possibly tune it locally (got a shop that tunes a lot of Hondas, just need to see their experience with the f-series). I do notice a sound when shifting fast as soon as it put it into the next gear. Is this what you are referring to (regarding the flywheel and slave cylinder upgrades being the fix)? I noticed it more while editing the video and some other up coming videos that I edited and was gonna bring it up in the FB groups.
@@DrivenDistrict you can hear it and see it, you are slipping the clutch. That’s because of the delay valve… and or clutch is on its way out. But pretty sure it’s the valve itself in the Slave cylinder

Thats a nice and clean S2000 with low mileage! Subscribed... I would like to see the mods and performance improvements
That was you yesterday?! I was admiring the s2k on my way to work. I was the guy in the white wrx. Love your Evo btw. Keep it up!

How much whp did your RSX Type S Kpro tune made?
Previous owner was the one who had it dyno tuned and he said it put down around 230whp.

Ap1 here, drop to 3rd at 65 and you'll be in Vtec through the rest.
