Please reconsider the decision to cut the stock fenders. Stock parts in great condition are getting harder to find. If you really want to cut some fenders, just buy some aftermarket fenders and call it a day. You're going to wrap the thing anyway.
This deserves to be top comment. There is no reason to destroy good OEM parts when you don't need to.
All for resale value 😂 get a grip and live your life not the next guys life that buys it. Only in America.
You can get s2000 parts directly from Honda and there's actual jdm parts resellers that have stock ... have you ever seen anyone struggling to get jdm doors fenders or hoods.. nahhh yes it's pricey but if you want it you'll pay for it

Buy aftermarket fenders to cut and put those vents in. Keep the stock ones, please.

Your tire setup could be way more aggressive. I’m running a 265/35/17 ventus rs4 square set up on mine
Not sure if you guys have it already or not but just a heads up, Buy oem hardtop strikers and latches for the hardtop. Gets you a better seal and less wind noice. Can’t wait to see it done!

Tip from an S2K owner from cali! Check the coolant reservoir for any damage! Mine collapsed on itself after dry rotting over the years!

+1 for this. The reservoir cap on mine had nearly invisible spider cracks, and still shot coolant all over the engine bay during a track session last summer.
@@Jakefkyah yep mine started spraying coolant through the corners of my hood. After pulling over I found the bottle broken apart. It was brittle and cracked
This is probably the most anticipated (by me) build you guys have ever done. I think the S2000 is the best looking car ever and the plans you got with it are just unbearable to wait for…..let’s goooo, I will watch this closely from “beyond the pond” (the Netherlands)

You can just feel the excitement oozing off of Mickey for this build. S2000 was always one of my dream cars. Along with a MK4 Supra and 70' Hemi Cuda in Plumb Crazy Purple. Y'all have 2 of them down already!

This carb legal turbo kit is very interesting, looking forward to the results. What did catch my eye was the inlet pipe that was welded on the cold side turbo. Just wish the welds were show level given the price of the kit.
Definitely noticed that as well. I haven’t looked but I would assume this is ~$3,500 kit (oooof, just looked and it’s $6k!) and I’d be pissed at the quality of those welds if I dropped that kind of money.
Was doing a DE at ACS around the time the AP2 came out. Someone was running the press car and wiped out in turn 9. Beautiful car, sounded good and looked hot in Formula Red!

I love that you guys leave the stuff you mess up in you videos. “Show were the diffuser goes. Oops wrong way. Tries again also wrong.” It really shows that it doesn’t matter if you just started working on cars or have been doing it your entire life, you make mistakes. It is nice to see in a world of sterilized content where everything goes as planned.

A lot of colors for suspension and underneath. Possible to get powder coat 1 color to match?
Kind of on the fence about the rear bumper, I feel it might clash with the stock body lines of the car. Regardless, this build is going to be sick and I can’t wait to see the finished product!

If not using a aftermarket flywheel with that clutch kit using a oem AP1 flywheel is a big change and commonly done upgrade on the ap2

I have a friend with a 06 S2000 light blue with blue interior, all blue. It is too much and the red looks really good with the black, I can just imagine what the all red interior looks like.
I hope one day I will get my 2019 Honda civic hatchback done like the cars in there video. The cars be so tuff and nice it’s crazy love the vids

There are really not many detailed complete builds to find and I need inspiration for mine. ;) I don't know how but I also kind of got the idea to RB RWD swap one if it is possible.
