    Looking to out perform its arch rival from Dearborn, Chevrolet unleashes its best Camaro yet. Riding on the all-new Alpha platform, this new 6th generation is lighter, stronger, and more sharp versus the previous Zeta platform. Throw in a fabulous sounding 6.2L V8 and you have the makings of one fantastic muscle car that is track ready from the factory.

      I agree. It seems as though GM took a step back with the design. I'm not a fan of the front end look as others aren't as well. May be why the Camaro is going to be discontinued yet again. If they went back to the '16-'18 look and made the inside a little bigger with better visibility, they'd do a lot better.

    Test drove this today. Blown away how it can go from a quiet comfortable cruiser to an all out angry beast at the touch of the mode button. Also the automatic was the best I've ever experienced. It was so responsive. This car is fast as hell too. I mean heart racing fast stock.

      Not really, BMW has placed the driving enthusiast in the back seat for a while now. They stopped seeing themselves as the performance brand they became famous for and now strive to be a luxury one. The sad part is that they are somewhat getting away with it since everyone associates them with expense and buying one earns a sense of status, or something of that sort. If you told me 15 yrs ago that Cadillac would be besting the Bavarians on the track I would have laughed at your face... how the times have changed.

    If you want a V8 GM with usable back seats for roughly the same money as a Camaro, look at the Chevrolet SS. Styling isn't as sleek or aggressive as the Camaro but you get much more practicality for those that care about such things, and you still get a big V8 and an option for the magnetic ride control.

      oh dear, to be exact the GT350 lost to the Z/28, the 350R beat the Z/28 *after it was out of production* the GT500 like the last GT500 will be a drag racer as per Mr. Shelby's wishes to keep it a drag racing car. the ZL1 beat the GT350R for less money, the 1LE beat the GT350 for less money, and the V6 1LE beat the GT track pack. as for "being crap" according to KBB, edmunds, and consumer reports the mustang has far worse reliability compared to the camaro. #FACTS stick to facts and not fantasy.

      It outperforms? How so? The GT is miles behind the new SS in terms of power, acceleration, and handling. Read any article or drive them and you can see that. You're just so biased that you skip over all of the numbers and facts to try to drive your opinion. Besides, the GT350 isn't that far ahead. The SS 1LE matches the time with the GT350 on Willow Springs. All doing it with 74 less horsepower.

    The challenger is the only car in the class that still reminds people of a muscle car. Camero and mustang went into more of a sports car area. So when I think of muscle cars now, I think of a challenger... Not a Camero or mustang

      The changes are wonderful though, I sat in one in the dealership and so didn't want to get out. The dash, seats, outside looks etc, even the side view mirror is great, the Mustang one is super small, sort of silly. I like how they are involving some new technology with keeping the oldness as well, 2 big thumbs up. Then right after I went to the Ford dealership, sat in the new Mustang, it was okay. They have quite a bit of work to do, unless you don't like any change. The dashboard in the Mustang doesn't look the greatest, sort of getting outdated, I know they're going to change a few things after seeing this Camaro. Chev got the "jump start"!

    Chevy needs to improve visibility in the 7th generation Camaro SS

  • @Mlegion1988
    @Mlegion1988 8 лет назад +1

    I was in a market for a muscle car, I test drove a Mustang GT, Challenger Scat Pack and a Camaro 2ss, To me all the visibility were the same, they are all great cars, all with pros and Cons, Challenger seemed not as agile, mustang could use more power, Camaro's back end seems to be missing something styling wise. After much deliberation I chose the 2016 Camaro 2ss and I do not regret it, the performance exhaust is worth every damn penny. Its not a bad car to commute with either very comfortable! (40 mile commute one way)
