Here's a Mustang guy giving the new Camaro praise. That's what's great about this guy. He's not a fanboy. He always gives objective reviews and provides usable information for the everyday driver.
+TJJohnson Under the hood didn't change. They added packages but no engine or trans changes. 1LE/ZL1/Z28 are only packages. No standard changes over the 5th gen except Steering wheel, 14-15 Fascia updates, wheel style, and FE4 suspension update
+TJJohnson not to pick at you.. I'm just trying to give people who want to see what all was changed a better definition. Also the dash changed with a new stitching.
+Sawashi32 Because you'll love your new Camaro so... very much more... ;) just place your kids in the trunk if they can't fit in the back seat... drive around with the exhaust baffles opened wide... that way you can't hear them complain... heck they may even enjoy the violent cacophony.
Joseph Griveas Thank you for bringing your high level of intelligence to the conversation. Now, just for pure entertainment purposes, and without repeating the same tired, handful of excuses the other trolls use, take it one step farther and explain exactly why you think GM is shit and what your favorite car manufacturer is.
+ARMYTRIX My exact same reaction. I hated the Camaro from the past couple years, but the very small and subtle changes to the '16 model give a crazy fucking aggressive look.
+ARMYTRIX Hey you can show off your amazing CAMARO Pics at this Awesome new Group ! SHOW US YOUR CAMARO. please join ~ facebook.com/groups/1770164453216908/
I hate coming to this muscle car reviews and see everybody arguing about the Camaro, challenger, and mustangs, arguing which one is best just admire the beauty of these great American muscle cars and stf everybody likes whatever they want to like. Thank you have a great day.
CAMARO SS305 That’ll never change. It’s cars, game consoles, phones. It’ll always be this. Upside. This is mostly confined to the internet. Very few people do this in real life.
***** There's a price for everything, if you want the best looking shade on a car (black), you gotta pay a price. They take more maintenance to look good, but after a buff, wow do they look good, especially at night in the city with all the reflections and colors shining off it.
+William Stewart Not arguing that it doesn't look good. But, in the desert it's just not worth it. My last car was black and i eventually gave up. My current car is Ashen Grey Metallic with black rims. It's a great color because at night people think it's black and it's a little easier to keep clean.
+Rafael Garcia Nah if anything it just probably gave him the mod bug lol. He's probably thinking of ways to improve his stang =P. Some enthusiast don't mind loosing because it finally gives them a reason to improve their cars! =D
This may be my favorite review you've ever done man! I want one now, pretty bad...lol. Just some things I notice: The steering wheel and exhaust tips are both straight from the Corvette
+Street Speed 717 Thanks man! Yeah the steering wheel felt so small to me, I don't remember the Corvette being that small but the parts sharing totally makes sense. And yeah the handling puts both our cars to shame! lol
+Jeff K The funny thing is Chevy really tried hard to clean up the interior not just materials, but simplicity like you are stating. Still this car is roughly as fast as the F-type at less than half the cost, so complaints don't have much to stand on.
The fact that the 2016 Camaro shares the same platform as the ATS is a major selling point for me. The ATS gets nothing but amazing reviews because of how well it handles and fun to drive.
My dream car. Why don't I know anyone else who is crazy about new Camaros? I know what I like. I have a 1970 Challenger. The day I drove a new one... and a Camaro... Camaro SS won my pick no contest.
That reaction at 8:57 was the same one i had in a Tesla flooring it. That was the best time I've ever had in a vehicle. I'm glad to see someone else have that same reaction.
just drove a black SS manual with the dual mode exhaust the other day and I gotta say... what an excellent car. Other than the poor visibility that is only that way for the muscle bodylines, it is dang near flawless sports car that is nipping at the heels of supercars. So fun to row the gears around town and stoplight to stoplight. I had knee surgery and only a week after I was able to operate the clutch almost effortlessly with little issue. well done Chevrolet
Even for mustang buyers who wouldn't buy a camaro, this refreshed model is very good due to competition. Ford will be motivated to improve the mustang.
PuppetMaster your not understanding what im saying brother. when you spend 60k on a car, there's a sense of finesse and prestigiousness that goes along with that. when your older you'll realize
I want this car in Germany! Always great to see your Enthusiasmus Matt ! i ended up with a Challenger as my rental last year, because the Camaro trunk was too small for my suitcase to fit😂😂
+TheGetawayer i am selling my 2011SS for this car. living in germany, i LOVE how people underestimate these cars. and with the 6th gen, their minds will blow, they do even with the 5th gen haha
Thank you for the terrific reviews! Your energy and enthusiasm are contagious!I thoroughly enjoy your impartial, well thought out reviews. Best reviewer on RUclips, imo.
i watched this review a year ago last august and traded my 5th gen 2 ss on a 16 2 ss a hail storm came thru that day but luckily my new camaro was in the shop getting cleaned up for delivery so i lucked out there i like it so much better then my 5th gen
+Luis Lujan One fact of life that is clear to me - physics cannot be denied, there is no magic to what they have done; to make the Camaro lighter they have made it much smaller. I am in shape guy, 5'11" 175 and my left shoulder is right on the driver door, there might be 2" of clearance between my head and the head liner, it's a purpose built track car and an awesome one, however IMO it's not a good everyday use car. The Mustang gets comments like "I could drive this across country" because it is a GT - Grand Tourer that is it's purpose and Ford nailed it IMO. The Camaro is a SS which it is, the sacrifice is no room in that car.
Before Sunrise I'm 6'1 198lbs and i fit fine in camaros. I fit fine in small cars like s2ks and lotuss, how do you sit man? lol jk Although the new mustangs do have better head room, I'll give you that. All modern cars are built for much bigger people man, specially american cars. America has the biggest people in the world and muscle car owners are usually not very muscular big fat guys. lol Both are good cars, but the camaro ss is clearly the better car. Just in performance and looks alone. Mustang wins in visibility.
+Luis Lujan I am comfortable in the Camaro, however the back seat is now truly useless in this generation. The last generation Camaro there was actually a good amount of room back there. For me I need a useful back seat now and then and I could not convince myself the backseat of the Camaro was usable. I am disappointed GM did that, they already have the Corvette check it out for yourself tell me what you think.
Before Sunrise dude my gfs roommate drive an ecoboost mustang and i didn't fit in the back at all, neither did my gf and she's 5'3 105lbs. The exact same argument could be said about the mustang. I smashed the back of my head llike 3 times and even hit my neck because i has to bent over pretty much and when we hit a bump I went flying up.
I test drove an SS, and I was amazed by the great, responsive steering. It reminded me of the Honda s2000 I used to own, and that is a huge compliment. I was not expecting that. It handles great and at the same time is comfortable, which is a nice blend. The seats were great too, and I have high standards, since my Audi TTS has Recaros. I agree that the only negative was the dead spot in the gas pedal, almost like it was in eco mode, but it was actually in sport. I have read that owners buy a throttle electronic controller, which eliminates that.
"Hiding" the HVAC controls on the vents was actually something that Audi did first in the most recent TT. They had dials in the center of the circular vents that controlled things; a bit different than the Camaro but in either car, it's a smart way to have manual controls while implementing them in an ingenious way that keeps the dashboard free of clutter.
+Todd Rich haahhah i dont think that camaro will sale more units than the mustang 2015 because of the price, plus in 1 or 2 years the mustang will drop more weight and and it will gain more hp, thats what they do to compete. other thing that makes me laugh is that they had to put a corvette engine into that pos in order to compete with the 5.0 hahaha since the shitty ls engine couldn't compete hahah! but competition is what makes car great, without it the camaro, and mustang would be shit!
+ps31871 you do understand mid cycle refreshes don't touch the chassis. You mustang lovers are going to have to wait till next redesign of the mustang to even compete with the Camaro
Just got to check out the first 2016 delivered to Southwest Louisiana and I am really impressed which is a bit sad because my mother just bought a 2015 Camaro and now I'm all wishing we would have waited
Great job. You're one of the best NetReviewers I've watched. You seem well-informed about the products, able to explain your points concisely and kept your audience (me) interested throughout the entire video. Nice...I want a Camaro now!!
Good to hear unbiased opinions. I own a Camaro and praises Ford when the 2015 Stang came out as well as the glorious GT350 with that flat plane crank haha.
cyberspd I just love that it revs so high and performs so well. It supposively bests the Z/28, if that's the case then it's a winner. I can't wait to see what Chevy does with the Z/28.
Honestly, these new camaros have some of the best bang for buck horsepower you can buy. They come so underrated power wise from the factory that the reported crank horsepower from GM is what they make at the tire. Crazy cars
I came down pretty harshly on your video about negotiating car purchases, but I said I love your car reviews, so it only seems fair to put my money where my mouth is. I love this video! The production values are good, your attention to the little details in the cars is fantastic, and I'm no Camaro fan but dang, that redesign is awesome. If only the blind spot wasn't the size of Montana...I guess the idea is just to drive so fast that what's behind you doesn't matter!
I bought a 15 Mustang this past September. The salt is real. I will without a doubt trade my stang in after warranty runs out for hopefully a refreshed 6th gen camaro around 2019?
Nice video! I just rented a 2017 1SS auto convertible in Maui for 9 days. I put over 500 miles on it. What a wonderful car! The torque, comfort, drivability, the new interior, and the functionality of the convertible top made it a real treat to drive! The trunk space is laughable, I one 30 bomb of Coors and a 12 pack of coke in there, barely. But for a rental in the tropics it was worth going with the drop top! I found myself driving in manual mode most of the time. Otherwise it'd be in 7th or 8th loping along at 1100 rpm. Running in manual mode was a fun too! I loved that auto throttle blip on the downshifts with that great sound exhaust note! Such a big difference over the previous gen. Now I want a 2SS hardtop 8speed auto for my very own!
You are the best at reviewing cars. I didn't know anything about this car, but after watching, I feel I know enough that if I was going to buy a car, I would first watch your videos to make my decision on whether to buy one, or not. Well done. They should pay you, because I gaurentee people are buying certain cars because of your awesome reviews.
I'd bet they'd be pretty close 0-100, after that I'd say the Stang would take it. The Camaro is lighter which will help with initial off the line go, but the extra horsepower that the 2.3 has will pull it ahead at speeds I'm sure.
+William Stewart Ecoboost's are not known for their top-end power. GM's 2.0T pulls harder up top, and uses regular fuel to do so. Coefficient of drag is .29 for the new Camaro too. For some reason Ford will not release the new Mustang drag coefficient.
I think the camaro is intended to be a cheap option rental car whereas the ecoboost is the alternative performance model and the V6 is the cheap rental car... For that reason the V6 camaro is better oriented to compete. Either way, it would be interesting to see any mustang vs camaro matchup haha.
TonyisGaming I tend to agree there, GM put a lot of work into the new V6 for the Camaro, and it has some pretty impressive numbers for what it is. The 2.0 is essentially the same engine we saw in the solstice GXP back in 2006, it needs a turbo upgrade in my opinion.
is it the 60's again? seems like there are muscle car wars going on again. the Mustang better watch out, this car is no joke and i'm sure the 2017 mustang will have something to say about it. sweet ride
+Thomas Cole I've been hearing rumors of the challenger getting on a major diet ( weight reduction ) no one can argue about the power and sound of the hemi, the only thing holding them back is the weight, if what I've heard is true, it could be a game changer.
Mustang? lol... Ford just figured out what independent rear suspension is, they're still baffled about how to make something go around a curve instead of a lightpole... :/
About the slight delay in the throttle input, the "Tour" & "Sport" modes use the same throttle map/response and it will be a little less edgy and will almost seem like a tiny delay when you stomp it. However, if you put it in "Track" mode it changes the throttle response/map to be noticeably more immediate. As in the video it is even mentioned that it may be "the driving mode" and it is.
The 5th and 6th generation's visibility is good, so stop reviewing negatively; the small, sharp window styling is the base of the mean look. High cut doors, low cut windows: It's perfect.
Jeff Greer I won't argue with GM being the same old shitty company that it always was, but the new Camaro looks like a great car. At the very least, the interior is no longer a plastic bathtub.
Jeff Greer Don't get me wrong, I'm a Mustang guy myself. But to me it looks like the Camaro is finally something worth purchasing once again. The 2010-2015 was more of a show car if anything (with the exception of the Z28).
Gots to get me one of them! Been wanting a 2015 Mustang but after seeing this, Wow!!! Didn't care for the previous Gen's Camaro too much but I'm glad they made it meaner looking! Great vid Matt, keep up the good work on your channel!
2015 GT I would have owned over a 2015 SS despite how ugly (I think) the 2015 Mustang looks. With this interior update alone though, I'd now take this over a GT. Not trying to start a car war, which I will probably inevitably end up doing, I am not loyal to any company, however I just feel like Chevy did a lot right with this model. Not that I'll be able to afford any one of those two amazing cars anytime soon, but at 18 years old I will get there eventually.
I'd get the white Camaro with the 8 speed Automatic & haters can hate on me all they want but I don't give a crap what people say or think about me & Automatic Transmission
Aman Shirdel got email from local deaer in germany, car will be presented in genfer autoshow, V8 and 2.0L Turbo. v8 starts at 45.900€ with 8"navi, keyless go, rev match, heat and vent seat. Basically 2SS is standard model in EU. Auto tranny is 2000€, NPP exhaust and magnetic ride are optional, i dont know the price for that. There should be also the ground effects pack but i have no intel about it :(
I own a 2010 one and I fell in love with the 2016 1SS, I wish i could afford the 2SS lol, and I've watched other video reviews and my friend your channel is the only one I subscribe to after I watched your review on my future new camaro, good job buddy!
I love everything about the looks and the slim windows give me no problems. The only complaint i would have is that it is difficult (maybe because I'm still new to the car) to see and have a feel for where curbs are and where parking lines are without backing in using the camera.
+andyb0x I think that dyno figure may be hard to replicate... HR mag just dynoed a '16 'Maro and 405.2 hp and 405.4 ft/lbs... regardless though... this car is awesome.
+andyb0x The avg is 415. The lowest I've seen was 392. Either way, it destroys the new Mustang GT and the $65k 350R beats the $40k Camaro SS with auto by only .2 seconds. Just a basic tune to the Camaro's computer and it wins.
***** Pretty much everybody is singing the car's praises... It's lighter and more powerful than the GT... butt-hurt much? JK. My ass would be quite comfortable atop the Camaro's magnetorheological damper.
+jeadelmann90 ive seen that, ive seen the 430 whp and ive also seen 422, compared to the stingray which is beat in whp on the dyno. Pretty impressive, cant weight to see the Z models
Black People Yeah the Z is going to be impressive! Hopefully it is more accessible than the last car in terms of price. Time will tell... Chevy has done an impressive job... they've created a world beater!
I just rented a 2017 manual camaro ss for three days. Unbelievable car. It just constantly makes you smile and feel like such a bad ass even though I’m not a bad ass at all. I do have to disagree with you on one thing. The clutch is a pain in the ass in my opinion. It catches way close to the top. I hate that constantly searching for the friction point. Also combine that with the delay in the gas pedal that you were talking about it makes it difficult. It’s so quiet at idle you think you’re giving it some gas and start lifting up on the clutch and then you realize you’re not giving it any gas at all because of that dead spot in the throttle. I had a few starts that were less than smooth 😂. Other than that it was awesome, especially coming from a guy who’s daily ride is a 4cyl Ford Ranger.
My 2013 supercharged camaro ss just got wrecked by a tweaker that rear ended me... this video helped me decide on replacing it with a 6th gen SS. Kudos on a great video Matt
Here's a Mustang guy giving the new Camaro praise. That's what's great about this guy. He's not a fanboy. He always gives objective reviews and provides usable information for the everyday driver.
Here's a Camaro guy that praises the Mustang as well!
+Luis Martinez I own a 2015 Mustang GT and I'm a Mustang guy through and through but I must say these new Camaro's are impressive as hell.
+Luis Martinez I have a 15 GT and Im super impressed. I really want to drive it. But don't want to race it..yet.
+Luis Martinez Thank you!
Your reaction at 8:55 was the main reason I started started looking into the camaro and as of a month ago, a proud 2016 2ss owner!
+t berk I agree, and grats on your new car. It's my life mission to get his car as soon as possible.
High Five here !
Congrats man
Congrats. Have it now also. ?
Wow you guys should touch p33p33’s
The 2016 looks way better than the 2010-2015 in my opinion
They trade blows to me, the 16 is definitely the better car overall though.
+JB_Stang 2010-15 had two different camaros though(3 if you want to count under the hood and steering wheel)
ExplitPlayer around 2012 the hp went up a bit on the ss(maybe the v6 too but I know the ss did).
8:57 made me smile. You can't fake that. That's real, deal enthusiasm.
I wish there was a highlight video of your reactions every time you push the gas 😂😂😂😂
Yassssssss
that would be a try not to laugh challenge
Jamal Greenfield there is, look up subaruwrxfan reactions
Jamal Greenfield he recently made one for reaching 300k subs
you should start a new ranking system: how many giggles on a 0-60 run
Been telling him to show a red faced giggle meter for a while lol.
GM has quickly gone from a car company that made cars I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole to one of my favorite auto brands. I am impressed!!
***** Why is that??
+Sawashi32 Because you'll love your new Camaro so... very much more... ;) just place your kids in the trunk if they can't fit in the back seat... drive around with the exhaust baffles opened wide... that way you can't hear them complain... heck they may even enjoy the violent cacophony.
Gm is shit and always will be
says who? the peanut gallery?

This..this is actually quite nice
+ARMYTRIX My exact same reaction. I hated the Camaro from the past couple years, but the very small and subtle changes to the '16 model give a crazy fucking aggressive look.
+ARMYTRIX MAKE AN EXHAUST FOR THE 5th AND 6th GEN! I've been saying this for years lol. I'll even drive my 2011 SS to you for development
uh oh!! an exhaust option maybe???
+ARMYTRIX Hey you can show off your amazing CAMARO Pics at this Awesome new Group ! SHOW US YOUR CAMARO. please join ~

The 16 is much more impressive than I first thought! Really impressed by the interior quality / styling
Texas City It's all personal preference. I wouldn't mind having a TT 16 camaro :P
I hate coming to this muscle car reviews and see everybody arguing about the Camaro, challenger, and mustangs, arguing which one is best just admire the beauty of these great American muscle cars and stf everybody likes whatever they want to like. Thank you have a great day.
+Yanil Valdez Amen bro, enjoy what you have, don't put other people down.
I thought the challenger was made somewhere else.
Alex Nunley Nah. It’s Dodge.
CAMARO SS305 That’ll never change. It’s cars, game consoles, phones. It’ll always be this. Upside. This is mostly confined to the internet. Very few people do this in real life.
Black on black looks mean af!!
So much better than that horrible yellow all the initial reviews had. The black really makes the car pop IMO.
+Natehanibal I'm normally not huge on black cars, but it really looks great with the new Camaro.
***** There's a price for everything, if you want the best looking shade on a car (black), you gotta pay a price. They take more maintenance to look good, but after a buff, wow do they look good, especially at night in the city with all the reflections and colors shining off it.

+William Stewart Black cars are boring, like every other car on the road is black, yellow on the camaro makes it pop out and stand out from the rest.
i bet he drove his Mustang back home in regret lmao
Why would he?
+Rafael Garcia Nah I still love my Mustang. I'll be comparing the two in a video this weekend :)
+Rafael Garcia Nah if anything it just probably gave him the mod bug lol. He's probably thinking of ways to improve his stang =P. Some enthusiast don't mind loosing because it finally gives them a reason to improve their cars! =D
+biggboysouth Spoken like a true enthusiast. +1 to you sir.
+biggboysouth 👍
This may be my favorite review you've ever done man! I want one now, pretty bad...lol. Just some things I notice: The steering wheel and exhaust tips are both straight from the Corvette
+Street Speed 717 Thanks man! Yeah the steering wheel felt so small to me, I don't remember the Corvette being that small but the parts sharing totally makes sense. And yeah the handling puts both our cars to shame! lol
subaruwrxfan especially mine :( LOL
707 hp! That's the only response you'll ever need! Haha
Still waiting to see you get one🥺
camaro is my dream car
Slog- Shoot +
Slog- Shoot same
Slog- Shoot same
+Thunder Cat Great news is that you can get a SS used for $30-36!!!
Same but I would prefer the 3rd gen bodystyle or even the 2nd gen bodystyle
Better handling than the last 1Le and boss 302, better acceleration than a 392 and RT challenger... amazing, well done chevy.
GM really hit it out of the park with this new Camaro. They've taken what was formerly a muscle car and turned it into a legitimate sports car.
That newly updated less plastic interior though.
IKR it looks good
+SullyPwnz
Seats look awesome, but the dash looks a little busy to my taste. I like a simple elegant look like the dash on the F-type.
I'm sure it still has a bunch of hard plastic. The new Malibu has plenty of hard scratchy plastic.
+SullyPwnz I think GM is finally taking the hint lol. Now if only if they keep doing this and dont cancel this generation in 4 years.
Nice!
+Nick Murray Thanks Nick! I'd love to hear your thoughts on one of these because the handling felt right up there with the M4!
+subaruwrxfan I doubt that it will challenge the M4.
+POVDRIVING 😂😂😆😅
+POVDRIVING oh you drove the 2016 camaro SS to validate your rudeness?
Drunk Drunkington I only defend my region of cars, the M4 would eat this thing alive.

I'm a mustang fan but after seeing this beast I must say I am impressed. Hope there is no major problems with these cars.
Even for mustang buyers who wouldn't buy a camaro, this refreshed model is very good due to competition. Ford will be motivated to improve the mustang.
the 2015 mustang is still landslides better overall
+King Of The Cut I'd also like some of the meds that you're on. Thanks.
+Matthew G his not lying if you consider the fact the Shelby 350r has a better times around the Nuremburg than the Koenig ccx
Sorry but the GT350 has not been ran around the Nurburgring yet. The time you seen is fake and was not published by ford
+Z3rhairstylers lmfao why don't u go to the official Nuremburg website before u talk
By far one of the best reviews of the 2016 Camaro I have seen so far.
This kid is the Mr. Rodgers of car reviews.
your enthusiasm for cars makes your reviews one of a kind, keep up the good work
imagine how monstrous this thing would sound with a straight pipe. or atleast a muffler delete.
Lol u might break some Windows
ew bro, straight pipes take away from the luxury of the car. it needs a full catback or axle back
Long tubes and a blower would be better :)
PuppetMaster your not understanding what im saying brother. when you spend 60k on a car, there's a sense of finesse and prestigiousness that goes along with that. when your older you'll realize

hey guido please consider checking it out when we get it here in 2016. I'm thinking about getting one!
+TheGetawayer They do have back seats as well you know :p
+TheGetawayer i am selling my 2011SS for this car. living in germany, i LOVE how people underestimate these cars. and with the 6th gen, their minds will blow, they do even with the 5th gen haha
Patrick Inkognito I wonder if you can get he upcoming 1LE over there. That would be a mind nuke!
Adam S it wont happen officially. We can get one from the importer though
Looks and sounds amazing! It's also lighter than the mustang AND has more power. Chevy killed it this year with the Camaro!
yes the interior is freaking amazing
+Luis Lujan One fact of life that is clear to me - physics cannot be denied, there is no magic to what they have done; to make the Camaro lighter they have made it much smaller. I am in shape guy, 5'11" 175 and my left shoulder is right on the driver door, there might be 2" of clearance between my head and the head liner, it's a purpose built track car and an awesome one, however IMO it's not a good everyday use car. I smashed the back of my head llike 3 times and even hit my neck because i has to bent over pretty much and when we hit a bump I went flying up.
I like the new wider shot you're getting from the passenger side window. It gives a really good idea how the driver position looks.
And then the mustang fanboys were quiet for another 10 years....
+ps31871 implying the camaro hasn't been getting corvette motors for decades.
+ps31871 you do understand mid cycle refreshes don't touch the chassis. You mustang lovers are going to have to wait till next redesign of the mustang to even compete with the Camaro
Braden McHenry maybe not the suspension but they can drop more weight and improve the suspicion and add more power!
+ps31871 you've got it wrong buddy. not one mid cycle refresh on any car has dropped weight . it's only cosmetics
Just got to check out the first 2016 delivered to Southwest Louisiana and I am really impressed which is a bit sad because my mother just bought a 2015 Camaro and now I'm all wishing we would have waited
Chevy hit this one out of the park it looks like.
Great job. You're one of the best NetReviewers I've watched. You seem well-informed about the products, able to explain your points concisely and kept your audience (me) interested throughout the entire video. Nice...I want a Camaro now!!
Awesome car. I'm a Mustang owner and lover and it's hard to dislike anything about the new Camaro.
Good to hear unbiased opinions. I own a Camaro and praises Ford when the 2015 Stang came out as well as the glorious GT350 with that flat plane crank haha.
I actually don't love the sound of the GT350 but I would certainly love to own one.
cyberspd I just love that it revs so high and performs so well. It supposively bests the Z/28, if that's the case then it's a winner. I can't wait to see what Chevy does with the Z/28.
+michael barkley I've got a 2011 GT with the 5.0. so balls out
+TonyisGaming It does rev like crazy. I'd love to drive one.
Honestly, these new camaros have some of the best bang for buck horsepower you can buy. They come so underrated power wise from the factory that the reported crank horsepower from GM is what they make at the tire. Crazy cars
beautiful car!!! That engine sounds like it's singing!
Next level intro!!
+maximus9401 Haha thanks I worked hard on this one!
+subaruwrxfan are you going to do a compilation of your laughing
Chevrolet really stepped up there game, pumped to pick one of these up this summer!
I bought a 15 Mustang this past September. The salt is real. I will without a doubt trade my stang in after warranty runs out for hopefully a refreshed 6th gen camaro around 2019?
Haha I wouldn't if I were you trust me the last half of the gen cars for the mustang usually change the engine and power.
Picking my SS tomorrow (manual trans) and I am anticipating the exact same reaction from me. I was like this on the test drive. Amazing fast car...
I think I'm now a Camaro guy now...
now IKOZAE is a camaro guy now
I think +IKOZAE is now a Camaro guy now...
+IKOZAE oh
I think I'm still a Mustang guy.
I own a mustang, love mustangs but I just became a Camaro guy.
08:56 lol that laugh, anyways matt keep up the good work!
Also, could you find a 2.0T Camaro to review? I'm so curious to see how it compares to the ecoboost.
+FoolishTuning I want to review one as soon as I can get my hands on one!
TonyisGaming I tend to agree there, GM put a lot of work into the new V6 for the Camaro, and it has some pretty impressive numbers for what it is. The 2.0 is essentially the same engine we saw in the solstice GXP back in 2006, it needs a turbo upgrade in my opinion.
that car looks a lot better than i expected. love those seats. wish i could transplant them into my wrx.
This is what car reviewers should be
i just got mine a week ago, it is impressive , i also own a 392 charger and this car feels faster and handling is very good as well.
Dude jizzed in his pants at 9:01
The previous model was a stunner, this one is on another level.
I like your enthusiasm,... nice review, you had me smiling.
Rewatching this, his old intro gives me so much nostalgia
is it the 60's again? seems like there are muscle car wars going on again. the Mustang better watch out, this car is no joke and i'm sure the 2017 mustang will have something to say about it. sweet ride
Yeah man, it's a great time for American muscle. Nothing like competition, it means better cars for us haha.
But I reckon dodge might have something up their sleeve for the next challenger and charger
My favorite car so far... I think I'm in love
Great car. More of a mustang guy myself but I really respect how far this car has come
its 3600 lbs not 3700 lbs while the GT is up to 3800 lbs, just a correction.
+justin bouche I read 3,700 lbs a few places online, I think the 2SS I reviewed is a little heavier than the base car. I could be wrong though.
subaruwrxfan oh yea i was looking at the 1SS, 2 SS a bit heavier due to leather and what not
This video, and especially the black SS, convinced me to purchase a black SS myself. Thanks!
the pure joy when he floored it the first time lol. enjoyed the vid man!
Oh man, that reaction made me. That was genuinely like a kid opening gifts on Christmas morning, absolutely wonderful.
The 5th and 6th generation's visibility is good, so stop reviewing negatively; the small, sharp window styling is the base of the mean look. High cut doors, low cut windows: It's perfect.
My neighbors just bought a 2016 2ss, and man it's awesome
Like he really couldn't even hide that excitement after he punched it! Haha!
Dude your candid excitement alone just sold me on this car. Thanks for the review.
Well being a Mustang guy, I was a little worried about the new Camaro. But, not any more.
+Jeff Greer Why is that?
+Creed Killa Look at it, same old car from the same old car company.
Jeff Greer I won't argue with GM being the same old shitty company that it always was, but the new Camaro looks like a great car. At the very least, the interior is no longer a plastic bathtub.
+Creed Killa I will concede to the interior.
Great vid Matt, keep up the good work on your channel!
do an 06 impala ss review
Just bought mine last week (automatic) and I gotta say, its by far the most fun car I've ever driven. It guzzles through gas like crazy though.
I'm from Uniontown but, have live in Cali for the past 20 years. Love seeing reviews on home town roads.
I'd get the white Camaro with the 8 speed Automatic & haters can hate on me all they want but I don't give a crap what people say or think about me & Automatic Transmission
same bro anyways it's an 8 speed auto better than the 6 speed manual
+PinoyxFuze thanks for understanding me about Automatic transmission vs Manual Transmission
I think thw same even the lt version with the 4 cyliders turbo works great.
PinoyxFuze u just cant drive a manual 😂
Never was a huge fan of Chevy or Ford but this sure does look like something I would take into consideration going forward.
HE CAN HARDLY CONTAIN HIMSELF! Neither can I! I WANT ONE! NOW! Hyper Blue Metallic please! K thanks.... :D
+victor bozzo Car and driver did an article a few weeks back and they had a SS in that color... it's amazing!
F*** i need this car! Bloody beautiful when will it be realeased in germany any infos
Would appreciate it if anyone knows something about it!
+victor bozzo hyper blue is also my color of choice :)
That hype blue metallic with gloss black wheels is soo sexy. Real life heart eyes
There should be also the ground effects pack but i have no intel about it :(
This Chris Burke sure knows how to drive, i am proud of how far he has come with his set backs.
8:57 he does that reactions because he is used to driving low hp cars like a wrx 😂😂
Wow! Awesome review. I spot on. This has been my dream car for quite some time now and no one has presented it better than you have. Thank you!
I'll work for this Car.
Seafy me too, getting it the end of this year
Did yall get it
I own a 2010 one and I fell in love with the 2016 1SS, I wish i could afford the 2SS lol, and I've watched other video reviews and my friend your channel is the only one I subscribe to after I watched your review on my future new camaro, good job buddy!
The Camaro needs to be All Wheel Drive in its next generation
w
I love everything about the looks and the slim windows give me no problems. The only complaint i would have is that it is difficult (maybe because I'm still new to the car) to see and have a feel for where curbs are and where parking lines are without backing in using the camera.
you should change your name to camarofan
I can't wait to see how the new generation ZL1 looks! Love the interior design in the new Camaro!
Talk shit as much as you want, but the car just won car of the year and dynos at 430 whp...
God damn mustang fanboys 🙄
they are everywhere
I have one of each and love them equally. People are odd ducks man. They act like someone is attacking their mom, it's JUST A CAR
Jake Duller HELP MY SCHOOL IS BEING OVERPOPULATED WITH MUSTANG FAN BOYS
Great review. I'm a full boar Ford fan but these new Camaro's are seriously impressive.
I can't stand the back end of these cars
Who cares what you think stfu
@@benzboy7660 me I do
great review. I have a 2011 camaro ss 2 which I love and is my dream car but after seeing the 2016 improvements I'm a little jealous
You act like 12 years old girl, who has never been inside fast car.
labusasmr sorry you're right :(
Davevion Taylor ;))))
+labusasmr I was looking for this comment. Thanks for calling a spade a spade
+labusasmr you act like a bitch
It just means that he's truly enthusiastic, and its funny lol
Your enthusiasm has me cracking up! Your happiness and giddiness made me happy and giddy
My 2013 supercharged camaro ss just got wrecked by a tweaker that rear ended me... this video helped me decide on replacing it with a 6th gen SS. Kudos on a great video Matt
Nice review. Can't wait to see it out on the back roads.
