We play Hues and Cues two ways, the regular proper way and then a round where you stare directly at your color without saying a word and they just have to guess which color you are looking at.
First connect the lights together, then hang where the connection is against the side and then string the lights from each side evenly over the pool so that the connection is not hanging over the pool. Hope that makes sense.
Beaver nuggets taste like Corn Pops cereal to me. Perhaps a little sweeter. But the brisket sandwich is really good. So is there beef jerky, candied nuts, and cookie dough bites.
Those string lights look like they are over the pool? I'm not sure what the best lighting solution would be, but if those string lights are live and fall into the pool with someone in it, it could be a tragedy. I'd look for something that goes around the outside of the enclosure rather than over the pool.
My 13-year-old is still snuggly. I love the surprise hugs at warp speed, and the flopping down next to me on the couch, stealing my throw, but snuggling up to me to watch videos. 😊I hope they never grow out of it.
Just a thought! I noticed that you have the lights hanging over the pool. Just wondering how safe that is with electricity over the water. I think, and I only say this because electricity gets me nervous, I would string them around the perimeter. Just my thought. But your pool area is beautiful.
Tim- those kids are old enough to be cleaning up after themselves! My 3 are grown now and I highly recommend teaching them young. Have a designated 1-2 times a day for "pick-up-toys" time. You will not regret it!! I really enjoy your content! Thank you for all you do!!
Sorry but they post their life for the world to see. They will be getting advice even if they don’t want it. Also they are absolutely correct Jackson is old enough to clean up after himself. Jackson is 5 years old if he gets his toys out and plays with them he needs to put them away. It’s a basic life skill that every kid should know.
@ it’s super cute that you think THEY post for YOUR advice lol! I actually envy the time you have to worry so much about a child that you don’t know. It’s adorable. 🥰
So...Buc-ee Nuggets are called Beaver Nuggets and they are AMAZING! Like sweet, little, Corn Puff Nuggets! Also, something to keep in mind. They have a drive through Christmas lights display at Daytona Speedway called Magic of Lights if you ever wanted to check that out. Give you a reason to make a pitstop at Buc-ee's! 😉 Also, haven't done it yet, but friends of ours have and apparently the Buc-ee's Car Wash is a Magical Experience! Oh and Plus, I'm 41 years old and I TOTALLY wish I had that Rainbow Road Raceway as a kid! Looks SUPER Fun!
Cheese Curds are delish. You should take a road trip to the Cracker Barrel at least once. They are all up and down I-95. Lots of games, big rocking chairs, delicious food, and warm cider when you're in the Northeast!
My family plays Cues and Hues on family vacation the past few summers! We love it!! Someone said Barney once and none of us could remember what color he was!!! It was great!
I love your channel, its so interesting and fun! I have a great bond with my kids too, but I have one cuddly kid and 1 not so much. We just have to find other ways to bond, but mine are pre teens now, different but still fun! Also we put them both to bed still 😊
I recently discovered Busy Bee which is very much like Buc-ees. Their pre bagged white cheddar popcorn is so good. They have fast food options where Buc-ees makes their own BBQ. Both have an amazing variety of shopping options.
Hmmm... your other set of lights fell into the pool. Seems like your next set should not in any way hang OVER the pool. An electrocution risk? Maybe just around the perimeter?
Hues and cues is so much fun! We play this with my in-laws fairly often. It's hilarious to hear the descriptions of colors without actually saying the color itself. Sometimes the descriptions are spot on but they're usually completely off lol. Also, beaver nuggets are essentially sweeter corn pops and they're terribly addictive.
I have cafe patio lights hung using the wire. Worked great. Unfortunately the wire runs around our trees and baby squirrels loved teething on the rubber cord to each bulb. 😮
Curious question. I’m wondering why ya’ll stay in the Disney Bubble almost always and don’t go explore your awesome state like the Everglades, Miami, the Keys St Augustine. I know you used to and I miss those types of videos.
Tim and Jen, I just wanna say you guys are amazing and you guys lift my spirits every time I watch your videos. I love your family dynamics and what I’m going through tough time you left me up so much joy of my life. I hope you guys have an amazing 2025 and please keep the videos coming. I loved all the Christmas gifts . Happy new year.❤ 30:15
About Jackson going to sleep on his own (long time early childhood educator) and all of the parents who fell asleep with their kids until a later than average age, all had children who eventually said "I'm good". Including mine. 😢😢😢 You're doing great!
I’m in Buffalo and we don’t have Canes, we don’t have Buckys. We don’t have most chains…people here like to eat local. We are getting a Shake Shack next year and I’m sooo excited!!
I think if you drive by a Buckees you definitely should stop in and check it out. I went to my first one a little over a year ago when I was visiting a friend in Texas. It was an experience and I even got my picture taken with.Buckey.
The lights look great! And enjoy the time Jackson lets you love on him. My 17 year old will only let me hug him in special occasions. Loved this home vlog :)
We love hues and cues! It gets super silly if you play with people who have no idea what things are certain colors. Ticket to ride is a really fun game. They have a kids version too!
My oldest son was the snuggliest boy and then he turned 14 and I have to ask for hugs! Haha! My 11 year old boy gives them freely still so hold onto all those snuggly years! I’m still very close to my 24 year old and we have fun together but it’s different than those little years. ❤
I always leave my tree up until I feel it’s time. I tend to stop turning it on at some point in January. I once had it up long enough my friend told me to turn it into a Valentines Tree before a get together I was having. I didn’t want to spend the $$ so I just took it down. I love the glow of a tree!! Keep it up!
I still have my HotWheels track from when I was a kid in the 80s that is a “Cobra Shootout” or something like that, where the track ends in a snake’s head with a tongue that rolls out under the car as it drives through it. 🤷🏻♂️
They still have a Steak and Shake on OBT by 417 in the Home depot parking lot. Everyone we've talked to loved it whenever they went. We have yet to try it. Lol
I love Popeyes and not Caine's. If you go to Bucees get the brisket sandwich. Beaver nuggets are like sweet puffed corn but it also comes in several flavors. Plan on spending a lot of time there.
My teens, 16 & 19, still hang out with us. They were never the moody teenagers that didn't want us around, and my daughter still likes to hold my hand sometimes. I think your boys will remain close and want to hang out with you guys. Why wouldn't they; you're awesome!
Beaver nuggets. I suggest the original or cinnamon. It’s like a corn pop cereal , covered in a hard crunchy sugar. Buccees started in my hometown. So it’s crazy to me how big it is now. I suggest getting a sausage kolache, a breakfast taco the hippo, the beef jerky, and a brisket sandwich, I also enjoy the kettle chips they make fresh.
I just ate at Culver's today in ST. Pete they are so good! Beats McDonald's any day of the week! Those lights are very cool too! y'all are also doing a great job with the posting!
Cains isn’t my favorite, but I don’t hate it. I think since it only serves one thing, I really have to be in the mood. Where at Culver’s, it would cover multiple cravings.
I highly recommend Telestrations as a very funny game to play with friends! It's basically the game Telephone but with drawings (illustrations) instead of whispered words. Hence, Tele-strations! The original game, not the "after dark" version lol
19:00 I know someone has probably already suggested this in the 268 previous comments but just in case; the sharks thing may be from the 70’s TV show Happy Day’s, when Fonzy jumped the shark in a (now) rather Infamous late season episode that coined the phrase “jumped the shark” (one too far)… or possible from the more recent(ish) Sharknado series….. or the popularity of ‘shark week’ Natgeo in your face promo’s… or maybe just because SHARKS ROCK! 🤔
The thought about whether you'd see dinosaurs is s spot on. I don't think you would in any large identifiable way but maybe evidence of dinosaurs, ie) poop, scratch marks on escape route signs, the usual.
That homemade hopscotch is such a great idea, especially for rainy days with kiddos! I guess you could do 4 Square too (maybe use a balloon instead of a ball to make it more interesting!) also, my take on the Dinosaur question- If you're travelling back in time from the future hypothetically you would know where to find the most dinosaurs you were looking for based on where the fossils were found in recent history (but that's just assuming you had control of a specific time and knew exactly when they died)
We have those lights above our pool, I took a picture but looks like I can’t post pics here. Ours does have the joint, but they are still evenly spaced with the joint. We got ours at Lowe’s.
Oh the Buckee Nuggets! Someone at our family Christmas got them as a gift. They were good! Like sweet Cron Pops. We are getting one in my area and we are also getting a Wally’s which seems to be a Buckee knockoff.
I strongly agree that electrical lights over the pool are unsafe.
Frisco Melt with extra Frisco Sauce on the side.
Every time! Yummm
Tim. You indicated that you are trying to be caffeine free, but love chocolate. Chocolate has caffeine in it
Beaver nuggets taste like Corn Pops cereal to me. Perhaps a little sweeter. But the brisket sandwich is really good. So is there beef jerky, candied nuts, and cookie dough bites.
Use the lights as a border around the outdoor area and then you won’t see the connections . ( you could hide it better).
Should you put electric lights over a pool?
its a pretty commen thing
Hues and Cues is hard, so fun though.
The lights look great, my friend 🙌🏽🙌🏽🤍🤍🤍🤍
Louisiana cajun here, we LOVE cane's. The chicken isn't dry and their isn't too much breading. Also, the sauce is great with boiled crawfish
Not clues Jen. Hues and cues.
Trackers are professional returners!
Canes sauce and Texas toast are amazing. The chicken itself is just okay.
My daughter will be 13 in a few days and she still loves hanging out. ❤
surprised you are putting electric lights over the pool...what about a couple of battery operated spots in the corners. ?????
Culvers… from Wisconsin with love! ❤🧀😁
I’m with you keeping the tree up yet. Usually have ours up until about the 2nd week in January.
At my work/office they keep the tree up yr round and decorate each season, valentines, Easter, 4th of July etc etc.
Those string lights look like they are over the pool? I'm not sure what the best lighting solution would be, but if those string lights are live and fall into the pool with someone in it, it could be a tragedy. How did you clean up the wax from your wall Jenn?
A blow dryer probably.. I spill scensy wax all the time 😅
Yes lol, Canes is a weekly meal for our family. We love it!
Culver's is our Favorite!! Love their chili cheese fries!!
Our families do keep the tree up all year round and just change the decor for the holiday/time of year!
Tim- those kids are old enough to be cleaning up after themselves! My 3 are grown now and I highly recommend teaching them young. Have a designated 1-2 times a day for "pick-up-toys" time. You will not regret it!! I really enjoy your content! Thank you for all you do!!
y'all are way too comfortable giving parenting advice that they are not asking for.....
@@TheTipsyHousewifethis. They are great parents.
@@Weatheredstorms1 agree. Which is why I’m so confused why so many people think they have to share their input
Sorry but they post their life for the world to see. They will be getting advice even if they don’t want it. Also they are absolutely correct Jackson is old enough to clean up after himself. Y’all need to plan a trip to the Smokey mountains go to Dollywood and then go to the second largest Buc-ees that’s in Sevierville!
My family plays Cues and Hues on family vacation the past few summers! We love it!! Someone said Barney once and none of us could remember what color he was!!! It was great!
I love your channel, its so interesting and fun!

Pull the slack of the wire and zip tie the slack to mimic the same length of the other lights
I also love watching Timmy Takeout. I am behind on his videos. I want to watch his Florida Mall video next. That sounds fun.
I’m with you on Raising Canes. My family thinks I’m crazy but the only thing I like from there is the bread! 😂
Hmmm... your other set of lights fell into the pool. Seems like your next set should not in any way hang OVER the pool. An electrocution risk? Maybe just around the perimeter?
New ones have clips. Old ones didnt
Hues and cues is so much fun! We play this with my in-laws fairly often. It's hilarious to hear the descriptions of colors without actually saying the color itself. Sometimes the descriptions are spot on but they're usually completely off lol.

On this first day in forever that there is no "Daily Woo", I really appreciate your video today!
As someone who once worked at Cracker Barrel, you are not wrong. SO many people feel like you guys.
You guys should run them along the side of the Lanai instead up in the middle. Just run them along the side would look clean and better.
I’m excited for the new years vlog!
I have cafe patio lights hung using the wire. Worked great. Unfortunately the wire runs around our trees and baby squirrels loved teething on the rubber cord to each bulb. 😮
My friend keeps tree up all year. Redecorates it with new holidays. Valentines. St Patrick’s. Easter. Etc.
We have hues and clues too! Fun. My dad loves the Frisco burger too from steak n shake. The one in Leesburg Fl is still open on 441!
if you like travel channels, Kara and Nate are the best! They did the Buccee's thing too
We just tried Canes this past weekend and won’t be rushing back. We didn’t love it
Curious question. I’m wondering why ya’ll stay in the Disney Bubble almost always and don’t go explore your awesome state like the Everglades, Miami, the Keys St Augustine. I know you used to and I miss those types of videos.
Me hearing Jen tell Jackson to "pick it up, pick it up, pick it up!": "Huh. I knew Tim was into ska but I guess Jen is too"
In the video you stated people up north like Cane’s. That is very true. I live up north and I like Cane’s 😂😂.
Love a Frisco Burger. Pretty sure the sauce is just Thousand Island Dressing.
Tim and Jen, I just wanna say you guys are amazing and you guys lift my spirits every time I watch your videos. I love your family dynamics and what I’m going through tough time you left me up so much joy of my life. I hope you guys have an amazing 2025 and please keep the videos coming. Seeing that you like games ..I think Tim and Jackson would love Beyblade X
Barq's root beer has caffeine in it, by the way. It's the only brand that does.
Alan Cummings is a god to 90s and early 2000s movies. I get yalls movie references just fine lol
The lights look great! And enjoy the time Jackson lets you love on him. My 17 year old will only let me hug him in special occasions. Loved this home vlog :)
🙌🏻 yes! a Brisco County Jr reference 😊
Tim, hipsters these days are roller skating so if you wanna be a super hip and cool kid, pick up a pair of skates 🤙🏼
If it's between Culver's and Cane's. My choice is always going to be the butter burger, cheese curds, and frozen custard. True Midwesterner. 😋😅
We love hues and cues! It gets super silly if you play with people who have no idea what things are certain colors. Ticket to ride is a really fun game. They have a kids version too!
First world rich people problems😂
10:36 Culver’s root beer is #1! Cane sugar is the way to go.
My oldest son was the snuggliest boy and then he turned 14 and I have to ask for hugs! Haha! My 11 year old boy gives them freely still so hold onto all those snuggly years! I’m still very close to my 24 year old and we have fun together but it’s different than those little years. ❤
Fold the strand with the next bulb over the connection and zip tie it together to clean up the cord

Bucees is an experience! Beaver Nuggets are kind of like giant Corn Pops cereal…big puffed corn covered in sugar!! They don’t last in humidity though.
They don’t last me the car ride home😜
They still have a Steak and Shake on OBT by 417 in the Home depot parking lot. Everyone we've talked to loved it whenever they went. We have yet to try it. Lol
I love Popeyes and not Caine's. If you go to Bucees get the brisket sandwich. Beaver nuggets are like sweet puffed corn but it also comes in several flavors. Plan on spending a lot of time there.
Lots of time! Great gift shop! So many food choices!
Frisco melts with extra frisco sauce on the side 🤤. You are now my spirit animal! 😂
Cracker barrel is one of my favorite places to eat.
not a fan of culvers but i do like their ice cream.
My teens, 16 & 19, still hang out with us. They were never the moody teenagers that didn't want us around, and my daughter still likes to hold my hand sometimes. I think your boys will remain close and want to hang out with you guys. Why wouldn't they; you're awesome!
Same here. We have 4 grown kids. They have always walked in the mall with us, gone to the movies etc.

Txs for sharing that info all the delicious food to get at Buccess
Yes! Beaver nuggets! Our friend brought some back for us!
2:04 are those LAST YEAR’S lemon pigs in the bg omg??
We are UNO lovers in this house! Got my kids UNO Attack for Christmas this year, love it!
15:03 I totally got the post it note joke 😂I love that movie.
Oh, I am loving the Christmas tree up❤ We have three⭐️
You don't have to take your tree down until epiphany
I started watching Timmy when you mentioned him in another video. I did go try the Cracker Barrel biscuit Benedict after watching him. 😂
We’ve played Hues and Cues and loved it! It really pushes your creative mind. Hope you enjoyed it! Merry Christmas and happy new year!
My husband and daughter LOVE the chicken sandwich from Buccees.
I just ate at Culver's today in ST. Pete they are so good! Beats McDonald's any day of the week! Those lights are very cool too! y'all are also doing a great job with the posting!

Ask Adam the woo about Buc-ee’s, he loves it! And I do too! 😂 def worth a try next time you are by one!
To be fair, Culver's has about the best chicken tenders around😃
Hanukkah started on Dec 25 this year! We take the tree down 12 days after Christmas!

We still have our Steak n Shake in Viera. It is always slammed!
The thought about whether you'd see dinosaurs is s spot on. I don't think you would in any large identifiable way but maybe evidence of dinosaurs, ie) poop, scratch marks on escape route signs, the usual.
Arby's cheesesticks are where it's at...!!!
Jenn, the BEST socks are from ARITIZIA, the 5 pack TNA BEST-EVER ANKLE SOCKS. Amazing socks you will love!!❤
We are actually getting a Raising Canes put in across the street from my work, I live in Pa
Ok the Texas cheese steak burrito at Buc-ee's is awesome I have to say. I always find myself getting one if I go to Buc-ee's.
That homemade hopscotch is such a great idea, especially for rainy days with kiddos!
