I lost my 18 year old girl on the 18th. She was 13/10 till the end. She was good and naughty and so fun. We walked 3.8 miles her last day and had a belly full of her favorite foods. I'll miss her forever. Dogs are great.
My thoughts to you and your old girlie i know the feeling, we lost our family dog on the 16th at the age of 15 and I cried for 3 days solid but the memories make it worth the pain. Dogs are really great
My dog Tank passed this year after two years suffering from a tumor. When I finally came back home after being on the road he realized quickly that I was pregnant and very close to having my baby. He gained back his strength and never left my side. I finally came home from the hospital and he stayed long enough just to make sure the baby and I were okay❤️ I’ll forever miss him
I have no words but still wanted to send some love. i’ve been there too-the beginning of 2024. i couldn’t live my life without a golden-so i got 2!! i still miss my boy but it’s hard to hold on to that for long these days! sending love your way.

A stone fell from my heart when I read the name Tank. My son's family dog was also 'Tank,' and he passed a few weeks ago. Tank had been my grandson's best friend and companion from the time my grandson was born. He'd never experienced a loss before - the anguish in his voice was crushing. We were on the phone but soon unable to talk because the pain had taken away our voices. Bless your Tank for staying as long as he could, as did our beloved Tank.

He was quiet, spoiled, loved attention, smart, a glutton, and one of the reasons I was able to come back from some of the worst mental health I've ever had. He was a rescue dog, and stuck to me like glue. I wouldn't leave his side if I could help it. We were rarely apart for more than a few minutes or a few hours. His separation anxiety was pretty bad, and I did everything I could to make him happy. He loved exploring, and would sometimes get into neighbor's yards, and bard as loud as he could. I knew his bark as well as I knew my own voice. I would always collect him, and he was always so happy to see me. I miss him. It's selfish, but I miss him so much. I try to be happy, because I know he would want me to be happy. I loved him, and still love him. And seeing all of these dogs reminded me of him. Haven't cried this hard in almost a year. Dogs are love and hope incarnate. If you are reading this, and own or know a dog, please tell them I said hi. Please give them a hug. They deserve the world and more.

Also please be proud of yourself-you fought depression in the best way possible-with love, and kindness. You gave Pretzel a wonderful life while on this earth; and that is no small thing. I also truly believe that when it's our time to go, not only do the people who love us come find us to welcome us home, but so do our pets. I saw enough there to know what world we live in...and I didn't see much but I saw enough Never give up. Heal. Help. Get up. Every day. The day we stop the world gets worse. My sweet beast passed a few weeks ago after living together for 14 yrs. She was a rescue from PR, wasn’t supposed to be in that transport but curiosity brought her around and she lay down, crossed her forepaws in the sun and the rescuer was hooked. She filled the house with her constancy, her sweetness, her empathy. She came to work w me, helping my patients and colleagues to feel loved. She was a mad fiend for woods hikes, was hiking 2 miles 2-3 times a week until a few days before she died. She was always aloof - circled around, always made sure I was right behind her on the trail, even laid her head on sore areas when she knew I was suffering (knee replacement, hip replacement), but she didn’t like to cuddle and kiss. After she died, I felt so guilty because I thought I should have trained her to be more cuddly because in her last moments, she just could not accept hugs. I was OK at that moment because I felt she was dying the way she lived, and I know she knew I was with her until the very last breath. Multiple people asked me why she wasn’t a cuddler.. I don’t know …she was so many wonderful things that it almost sounds silly to ask that question. “You mean you’re a rocket scientist but you’re not a neuroscientist too?” Lol. What a great dog -my soul dog. She is out there still. With me always. ❤️💔🐾❤️

When the golden retriever who graduated from chemotherapy came up I bawled like a baby. I miss my dog Wynnie so much. She was incontinent due to a basketball sized tumor and we had no idea until we took her in to the vet that it would be our last morning with her. That was almost two years ago. And my aunt lost lost her dog on Friday going home to Illinois after spending Christmas with us in North Carolina. Cacner sucks, and my mom has it too. Gosh I miss my babies so much. I've lost four dogs in my life and Wynnie was the hardest for sure! My first dog that l was alive when she was a puppy and loved her for 9 years. God Bless you girls, Dottie, Ginger "Ginny", Candy and Wynnie

We rescued a dog from shelter, she was 9.5 years of age, with some health issues. She was surrendered by an elder couple for euthanizing. She was in shelter for only one day, when we saw her, and instantly fell in love, it was an instant connection. We gave her 5.5 more wonderful years to enjoy her life. She discovered real raw chicken and other treats. She had no idea what a dog walk was, we taught her how to walk with the leash, and boy she enjoyed every bit of it after learning. She passed away in home, after coming in from the deck. Paid down, and was gone right away. We buried here here on our 4 acre property, with the stone over her grave, saying Thank you for your love" She was loving, understanding, intuitive, my best friend Banner. I have two more now, precious love bugs. DOGS ARE PRECIOUS PURE SOULS.
This year will be three years since I lost my one and only dog, and these videos make me smile and miss her so much. She was so very good to me and these videos remind me of that.
Dogs have been with humans longer than any other animal. In a very real way they shaped us as we were shaping them. Thanks for showing us just why they hold a special place in our hearts.
I have been following We Rate Dogs for forever and I sooooo appreciate the work he does. Thanks for this. Thanks so fucking much. A couple months ago, my pup of 10 years and best friend, Data, was diganosed with Cushing's disease. He started his medication recently and he'll be fine, but the whole process of actually fiding out what he had was excruciating. Many restless nights, a couple full breakdowns, a lot of anxiety and stress, and a significant financial hit that has and will have consequences on our household, but he's going to be fine. It's videos like this, and We Rate Dogs in general, that remind us of how important our furry friends are in our lives. Thank you for everything you do and keep up the good work. Just recently found your site. Lot's of dog/cat videos out there but yours speaks to the fact that dogs/cats are hurt & that your organization helps them. It's always heartbreaking to hear these stories but your aiding them can balance it (sometimes; because sadly we have too many that abuse these wonderful creatures) You're one of the good ones so keep it up; we all know our furbabies need it.

This year will be three years since I lost my one and only dog, and these videos make me smile and miss her so much. She was so very good to me and these videos remind me of that.
Dogs have been with humans longer than any other animal. In a very real way they shaped us as we were shaping them. Thanks for showing us just why they hold a special place in our hearts.

I have been following We Rate Dogs for forever and I sooooo appreciate the work he does. My absolutely favorite question he as asked was, "Why it was called "*We* rate dogs" instead of something else," and he answered "Cuz *i*rate dogs would be totally wrong!!!" (Irate dogs (angry dogs) vs "I rate dogs" (I judge dogs), for our international viewers)." I LUV ALL YOU DO!

Thanks for this. Thanks so fucking much. A couple months ago, my pup of 10 years and best friend, Data, was diganosed with Cushing's disease. He started his medication recently and he'll be fine, but the whole process of actually fiding out what he had was excruciating. Many restless nights, a couple full breakdowns, a lot of anxiety and stress, and a significant financial hit that has and will have consequences on our household, but he's going to be fine. It's videos like this, and We Rate Dogs in general, that remind us of how important our furry friends are in our lives. Thank you for everything you do and keep up the good work. We love you will all our hearts. 13/10

I lost my best friend (200/10) of a decade this fall. he loved parmesan cheese and asparagus, especially taking it from my mom's garden. i'm so glad I had him in my life. this video reminded me how lucky I was to know him, and how lucky we are to have the love of dogs. thank you for sharing such a beautiful video ❤

Just recently found your site. Lot's of dog/cat videos out there but yours speaks to the fact that dogs/cats are hurt & that your organization helps them. It's always heartbreaking
to hear these stories but your aiding them can balance it (sometimes; because sadly
we have too many that abuse these wonderful creatures) You're one of the good ones so keep it up; we all know our furbabies need it.
How lucky we are to have such a species as dogs to keep us company on our time here in this planet!

My sweet Kiva crossed the rainbow bridge a couple of months ago after 15 amazing years together. I miss her terribly... it's bittersweet to see all the good good doggies here, from my cold, empty, dogless house. Dogs are the best people
