There is an easier way to add shortcuts to plugins: Just put any plygin you want on a track, select it and group it (command+G). Select the group and save it and name it. Then in your Elgato app you can choose the "Run" option from the System menu and from there select the stored group from your user library. You can use the multiple action part to create a track and immediatly add your favourite plugins :).

Thanks man, this is a lifesaver! I noticed it didnt really run smooth in a big project, but your method does! I just did Multi Action, add hotkey (cmd shift T, for a new midi track) then the 'Open' action, and I select the .adg file from my User Library.

I bought my Ableton control script, (for $20, I have control of transport , faders, track select etc...but I also use my stream Deck for MPC software. It's the best gadget ever.

This is another well done viddy by you. However, I need to use Keyboard Maestro to accomplish some of the things outlined. KM introduces a pause that seems to be necessary in order to launch plugs inside Live. When I do your method it is inconsistent w/o this. Stream Deck is however, insanely powerful.

What I want to know is, can you pair two XLs and have solo and mute buttons to control 16 tracks

This looks like a solution in search of a problem. It literally takes a couple seconds to load a device from the browser or using the Push 2.

This is just a small demonstration of what you can do with this technology. With a little imagination you can press a button instead of doing a 30-40 seconds sequence you have to repeat on a daily basis. It can chain so many macros together. I started by actually writing down all the actions I did repeatedly, that consumed at least 20 seconds of my time. Now, I have like 25+ commands in Stream Deck, most of them linked to Keyboard Maestro (amazing combination, trust me), each of them do in a fraction of a second what I'd otherwise do in 30. This thingamabob has SAVED ME SO MUCH TIME.

I prefer to have backups happen automatically without me having to remember to push a button.
