- Watch part one of the delivery of an Amish built garage. The garage will be 24x40 but it is delivered in two halves and assembled on site. This will give you a better idea of what it will take to have one delivered on your property. The second half will be in the next video. Thanks!

The average IQ for cops is just over 100 or the average. That means that if some are 120 then others are 80 or nearly dumb as rocks. God forbid you get some 130's.
Beacons flashing, posted signs. Someone wasn't paying attention.
I would almost bet if the cop ask to see the person's cell phone who was in the ditch he would see texting at the time they went into the ditch. Then they saw the truck and had to blame someone. Couldn't tell insurance I was texting and ran off the road.
Car drivers fault , the delivery truck had his oversize banners and all was legal , people always want to blame someone else.

The Driver of the car was probably DRIVING too fast and swerved to avoid hitting the Wide Loaded Truck . It's the car drivers fault .( in my opinion )

I wish I had one in my pickup, once. I was at a double left turn lane intersection turning left. The guy to my right decided to make a U-turn, in front of me, while I was making my turn!
I thought the video was nice - amazing to me what man creates to get things done. And as for the music, I enjoyed it. When a video has music or something I don't want to hear, I just turn my sound off. Why are people complaining - there's an option on every computer to turn sound off. Make that choice for yourself - it's called a silent movie - enjoy the video and eliminate the rest. One more thing - if the video is too long - fast forward people - stop complaining, it's his video expression - it's not like you paid for it at the theater. Makes some popcorn and sit down and relax.😊🍿🥤

I doubt alot of those are actually Amish built? I went to a dealer who said that they were Amish built and there was a few Mexicans in the back area working on constructing them.
Probably went to one of those colleges with safe spaces. Now he gets triggered by a garage on wheels and drives into a ditch. Best of Luck, Stay Healthy, Get in that garage & get dirty...................
If this had been edited down to 5:55 seconds it would have a good interesting video but that music and lack of much movement was 20 minutes too long.
You can have signs flags stay on your side of the road and people will still do some of the dumbest things around farm equipment I witness it everyday. Stay safe out there

yes..people are just stupid more often than not seams like (maybe im just being mean but the truth will stand when the world is on fire) ..they think they can pull out in front of a 4x4 tractor pulling a double load of corn or hay and just stop instantly ...we know it joust dont work that way

When I first saw the trailer moving in a sideways motion I thought to myself, What kind of sorcery is this I see???
Then I watched all the way through and saw it again, only after the first half of the garage was off of the trailer.. That's when I understood the sorcery..

It has wheels that drop and allow it to move sideways. Very cool trailers. Check out Shed Happens RUclips.

I used to do a lot of heavy and oversized. Flashing lights and banners, escort trucks with flashing lights and banners, and sometimes on the larger stuff police escort the whole way.I swear sometimes the flashing lights and banners just attracted the idiots and made them want to run into you. I can't tell you how many times even with police escort, they go around the cop, around the escort truck with all the flags and banners and flashing lights, and try their damnedest to crash into me.cop running the siren and on the PA and everything, it doesn't change anything,
I was driving my small car on a winding country road, no shoulders, with deep culverts on both sides. A pilot truck passed me going the other way. Have seen oversized loads before on this road, but they were always dozers or other equipment, I believe were about 10 feet wide. I slowed down and moved as far to the right as possible, without falling into the culvert. When the truck came around the corner, it was 14 feet wide!! I was able to dart into a driveway. The pilot truck should have had on the front of the truck, how wide the oversized load was, with numbers as high as the sign. Had I been driving my truck, we would have hit. I am a courteous driver who looks out for everybody, whether on my side or the other. (Tow truck drivers, cyclists, Amish buggies, pedestrians, emergency personnel, trucks and WIDE LOADS). Had my CB on, and asked how wide the load was, as soon as I passed the pilot truck. Heard nothing.
Have been driving for years, and this was the only time I’ve had an issue with an oversized load. When I come up behind one, I usually just slow down and stay at least a big truck length behind it. Don’t drive in a rush, and figure only an asshole will cut me off, to get behind a big truck! ( the assholes are NY and NJ drivers!)

Cop stop this guy to find out if he was guilty, then cop pull out in front of on coming traffic, but he made it OK he turned his lights on

When i drove semi and big trailers..there was always idiots trying to pass you or cut around dangerously..instead of waiting 30 seconds to allow you time to turn or get around a corner..they are morons who should be arrested for their driving..not the people working....
Never was a day you didn't have to watch out for the small brainers in small cars or big suv's now !!
Part of operating equipment on roads is protecting the Mentally Challenged too...

Fun facts, a travel lane is normally 12 ft wide. This building is probably 12 to 13 ft wide. SUV s are 80 in wide. Cars are even smaller. All you have to do when you meet an oversized is pay attention,slow down and hug your side of the road. ( unless pilot cars instruct you differently)

It's called a "no contact auto incident" just as if a car was travelling in the wrong lane towards you and you swerved to avoid and smashed into a fence.
You never said what the end result was of the police talking to you. No point showing us if you dont tell us what happened.
How much did the building cost? Looks great.

Nice building, how is the wooden floor made to withstand cars being parked and worked on?
Thanks for watching. Yes, you are able to park a car in it. While not using it as a car garage, I got it with the double layer of 5/8" plywood because of some of the tools I will be using in my workshop. But from what I have been told, you need to look at the spacing of the supports and the layers of plywood on the floor to make sure that it will support the weight of a vehicle. I hope that helps. I have a portable garage building not as big as this one though, what they do is, on mine they double the 3/4" flooring or thicker then ad an extra row of 4x6 runners/skids and all the 2x6 or 2x8 floor joist are on 12" centers. Makes it solid as a rock. Parked my Toyota Tacoma 4x4 double cab in it a few times and that floor didn't even knw it was there.

Before I even watch this, let me point out something I figured out 20 years ago.
As soon as they legalized property taxes, private ownership of land in the US disappeared. If you really own your land, why do you need to pay rent (taxes) to use it! You say you own your land? BS! Stop paying property taxes and they will show you who REALLY owns that land! Now, back to the show ...
So private ownership of land ended almost as soon as this country started is that what your saying?.
@@veulmet Thats right. As soon as you stop paying 'taxes' the real owners step in and take their land back. Daniel Boone fought this but was defeated in his battle! You can NOT trust politicians! They will make up a name and reason do do what they know would be unacceptable otherwise! Income locally should be taxed, not property! Now they even add more tax if you give your property to your children! And county government should allot money to state and fed by local vote only! If you want to build a bridge in Alaska, let the Alaskans pay for it! Not everyone else in the country! That alone would save billions in graft!

the trailer has a set of wheels, behind the trailer wheels, that are sideways... that are lowered, and powered hydraulically...

I would love to have a little piece of land like that out in the country. I'd be willing to bet that the driver, who wound up in the ditch was trying to pass him on a two lane highway and another car was coming, so he swerved out of the way and crashed his car.
That's why record on you're person when driving big loads, and it would make the video alot better, because when you put something on RUclips, people want to watch everything.. I just skipped thru the whole video, because I didn't want to listen to music 🤷

Sounds to me like it would be a he said he said situation as far as the cops go. Shouldn't be able to ticket the truck driver without witnesses.

Not sure, but the cops didn't even write a ticket or anything. They just made sure that information was swapped. In his defense, who couldn't see that coming??

So how is it the truck drivers fault the car was so impatient that it couldn't slow or stop to the side to allow an obvious oversized load to pass the cops shouldn't even have come after the truck so legally the cars fault. When something is obstructing your lane of traffic you are required by law to slow or stop even pull over until oncoming traffic has cleared this applies to this situation.
