Deliciouse.

But in reality only westerners who are full of hate towards Chinese and pretty much every other culture you're not that familiar with.

The CIA recently thought newly poured concrete bases for wind turbines were missile silos. Bunch of idiots the CIA as the layout and spacing of the bases was not optimal for a silo farm. Fixed silos are easy to target that's why China's intercontinental nuclear missiles are road mobile which are much more difficult to target if you can find them.

Hey I also visited some of the same tulous seen in your video some years back. But not all hakkas lived in tulous, the hakka were refugees from some place in the north while the punti (本地) were mostly the cantonese the hokkiens(or fujians), teochews(chaoshanese) so chaotic punti wars of the past were about the punti people vs hakka - 3 vs 1 - mostly fighting over the limited availability of fertile farming lowlands and other later hakka arrivals either could not find a place to settle by then or totally avoided being exposed in the lowlands due to the constant threat of violence, they much preferred being high up in the mountains and carving out terraces for rice cultivation which was less fertile but proved to be safer. Our own hakka ancestral village (老家) is also in a mountainous place in the guangdong province.

Not just you Katherine, I would be seriously enthusiastic in exploring these innumerable tulous in various stages of existence, one thing is for sure you will never go hungry, go jobless, antisocial perhaps not married as you suggest of your blind intro for easter island monolith, Mehmeti. Strangely reminiscent of my childhood where you go around visiting relatives or family friends for tea and snacks lifestyle; excepting somewhat now lonesome lives of isolated older people the space available is envious compare to accommodation crisis in Sydney or other urban areas. I also would love to learn something about rammed earth construction methods of tulous akin to great wall structures in desert Xinjiang outpost before leaving China proper. You covered so much ground in oneday that I honestly think your vlog is unique in highlighting tulou, so hearty congrats!! say goodbye from Fujian now to foghorn leghorn and his counterpart companion floppy eared canine, till next time!
