The two children were not afraid of the police. Children under the age of 13 are not allowed to ride electric motorcycles in China. The child was afraid that the police would catch him and notify his parents, which would make the child feel embarrassed.

Among the three major ancient operas in the world, only China still exists(ancient Greek and Indian opera has been lost).The program is the story of each dynasty, mostly featuring heroic figures. You can understand that China's heroic universe has been continuously increasing and performing for thousands of years.

My home town near there does the similar thing, but the celebration last a month from village to village and they do grand celebration for all as well. Some of deities are actually use the same colour code from the local opera which different face colour symbolise justice, bravery, loyalty and compassion etc.

Some of these practices celebrating a festival are similar to those practised by the the Chinese Hokkien communities in Malaysia and Singapore where they form the majority of the Chinese people . Also the worshipping of the Sea Goddess, Mazhu 妈祖 is prevalent during Chinese New year and in March for the Minan people in Fujian and in Taiwan.
In fact, the Cultural Revolution completely eradicated the "high caste" clans in China. It was beneficial to the ordinary people at the bottom. It changed the mental outlook of the people at the bottom who had been afraid of the "high castes" for thousands of years! There are advantages and disadvantages, yes, culture The Great Revolution destroyed many excellent cultural traditions. It was a catastrophe, but I still think that the Cultural Revolution is something that China must complete. Otherwise, today's China will turn into India
Fujian is indeed a very nice place although hardly mentioned in the West or outside China despite the large number of Fujianese who had migrated overseas. It seems that, unlike the Cantonese, they have become even more fully integrated and immersed into the local communities of the countries they had migrated to. Very prosperous, modern, new and ancient, clean and colorful. It's more "cultural" than the northern provinces. The culture here is so rich, like in ChaoShan too. Yeah... they are more religious and spiritual compared to their northern counterparts. I like that the deities are also having so much fun! So exciting! Wild! Such rituals or religious events can also be found in Japan too because these people migrated there. Hahaha... the Karaoke thing in the temple? is so funny. Wow! That village is really so fun! If you're thinking about the one in Puri, that's extremely crowded! But not the same thing. For one it's the only chance foreigners can see the Deity. And Lord Jagannatha is HUGE, they can't carry him on a palanquin. And the purpose of the festival is also different, they don't go out to have fun. I think Indian Deities and Chinese Deities have a very different mood, they are also not worshiped in the same way. Just look at this old movie, of Lord Caitanya (a saint, but also an incarnation of Krishna in the mood of his devotee) worshiping Lord Jagannatha, it's such a pity this particular video doesn't have subtitles!
