I've never known how enjoyable it is to listen to these radio shows. Now I understand more about the past when my grandmother would share her memories with me about the radio being the only entertainment they had. Thanks and love from New Zealand.
Intro 00:00 - 1:32 Act 1. 2:32 - 14:02 Act 2/3. 15:55 - 40:55 Outro/Credits 42:23 - 43:23 The rest is ads and the news. This was really, really, good one! A bit...I don't know if telegraphed is the correct term, but it was easy to figure out. Still, it's a very, very, enjoyable one. Even the...hmm.."accents" were good enough and most importantly, not distracting. Again, I really, really liked this one! And thanks to MRT, for the time it's takes to upload all these episodes!
September 2019. This episode aired in May 1974. This was well into the Watergate hearings in Washington DC. It requires 67 votes in the Senate to impeach a president. The 1974 Senate included 56 Democrats, 42 Republicans and two others not affiliated with any party Today the Senate is comprised of 53 Republicans 42 Democrats and two independents.. August 9th 1974 Nixon finally resigned without a final vote in the Senate. It is widely understood that he probably would have been impeached had he stayed in office. In today's contentious political climate, it is very unlikely they will go after President Trump. These are extremely turbulent times that we live in. I have terrible insomnia. These shows put me to sleep as a child and it still works.
How’s your insomnia now?
