    As a chiefs fan, Reek is just a slot receiver, just a “slot receiver”? You must be out of your mind, He can play special teams and play outside too, and KC’s dynasty isn’t over, the league year just started two weeks ago and they already added Marques Valdes-Scantlling and Juju Smith-Schuster. They are not reek but it doesn’t mean that the season is over, It’s easier to replace Tyreek than to replace Mahomes, I am pretty sure they’ll find someone that can play, and don’t forget Andy Reid (is one of the best head coaches in history) and Greg Lewis (Tyreek’s wide receivers coach, who taught him from 2016 until he moved to running backs coach) are still on the team, They’ll find someone to replace him, yet Reek is one of my favorite players, I know Veach and those two will find a plan to get the offense a new number one, They’re still playoff contenders on offense but as super bowl contenders, that’s still questionable, receiver isnt just a need, you got almost the whole defense that needs work, But KC’s offense has carried them into the playoffs for numerous years, They’ll be fine.

    this was the most honest analysis of the trade. others are just saying they still have kelce and mahomes they will be fine... no kelce is good.. and mahomes is good, but hill made them great. hill called for safety help which in turn gave kelce mismatches. the improvs that mahomes did and crazy escapability in pocket than deep bombs were because hill is out there. he could just throw in a direction of open space and know hill is either going to get there first or it's going to be incomplete. the elite oline they supposedly have now.. are mainly new guys and career backups outside of orlando brown that haven't had to face constant pressure because you can't bring consistant blitzes and jam the box when you got a speedy guy with solid route-running and jump ability like hill. now that oline will face more pressure, the box will get jammed so the run game will also be effected. this changes everything. broncos and chiefs are in a battle for last place.

    Its really simple - Hill did not deserve to make 30 mil a year let alone be the highesr paid WR in the league. Hill is great with the right QB and the right scheme, his speed is unparralleled, but its simple math. 2 DBs take away 1 great WR - get 2 good WRs for less than the 1 great and with Kelce youll always have a good WR one on one. Hill wasnt the same before Mahomes and wont be the same after. He was going to leave no matter what, and good for him getting paid, this way KC got good draft capital for him while the rest of the AFC is way over paying for old talent. It was a very smart move.

    • @BossRoller
      @BossRoller 2 года назад

      I think the problem with your logic is that the chiefs can't start 12 players on offense. And Hill isn't just a great WR, he's a transcendent player who's speed functions as a cheat code for the Chiefs offense. With that element gone, defenses don't fear the Chiefs offense anymore.

    • @stevenh3508
      @stevenh3508 2 года назад

      @@BossRoller yet he was shut down alot this year, so thats not true. Pre Mahomes, Hill still had his speed but wasnt a top 10 WR in the league. Not to mention, Hill is regualrly at the top of the list in drops. He has avg hands and is an avg route runner....his speed coupled with mahomes ability and reid play calling made him great. You dont pay that WR 30 mil a year. In games without Hill, Mahomes is 5-1 and the offense is actually more potent due to not trying to force him the ball so much.

    • @BossRoller
      @BossRoller 2 года назад

      @@stevenh3508 Hill put up nearly 1200 yards and 7TDs in just his 2nd season with Alex Smith at QB. That was 7th in the league in terms of yardage. I think people just assume Hill was just pedestrian before Mahomes but it's not true. Look at his stats. There's a reason why everyone said that Mahomes landed in the ideal situation in KC.

    • @stevenh3508
      @stevenh3508 2 года назад

      @@BossRoller you just proved my point by having to cherry pick his only stat other than drops that he was top 10 in. He was 7th in the league in yards as the only recieiving option outside of kelce in KC before anyone started double teaming him. Pff had him ranked as a top 15 WR....then Mahomes started and he jumped to a top 6 WR where he has hovered around. Hes never cracked top 5 overall but has always been at the top of the league in drops and been rated a middle of the pack route runner. He has games where he completely goes off and then has games where he completely disappears. Hes a good # 1 that needs another #1 recieving threat as well as a QB that can scramble and throw a good deep ball that has nothing to do with the original route to be a great #1...thats not tua or bridgewater. His speed is what makes him a #1 and as was shown last year can be taken away with the proper coverage. Also, Hill led the league last year in passes to him with a 70% catch percentage that resulted in Int.

    KC may not have scored a td in the sb against Tampa but Mahomes DID hit Tyreek Hill right in his Chevy Chase in the end zone, Tyreek let it slip through his hands hit his face mask and fumbled away a chance of being competitive. That's Patrick's main weakness. It's hard for him to just dink and dunk his way down the field. He needs to work on his mechanics. That's why he had so many interceptions because he was trying to do the offense that used to work before and teams had figured that out now he's lost his number one receiver. So I see them taking a major step back

    • @BossRoller
      @BossRoller 2 года назад +1

      How can Mahomes be considered the best QB in the league if it affects him to THAT extent. It isn't as if he's surrounded by scrubs without Hill. He has the best TE in the game, an amazing O-line and good talent at the RB position. If you are the premier QB in the league, that should be enough to elevate the rest of the offense. The truth is that Hill has been Mahomes' crutch and was the most important element of that offense. Hill was the element that other teams feared, moreso than Mahomes.

    • @victoranguiano7401

      @@BossRoller everyone knows that to beat mahomes you have to have two high safeties and make them dink and dunk and he was having a lot of trouble doing that last season. Actually that's how the bucks beat them in the super bowl they didn't score touchdown. If you look at his mechanics they're not very good. He can throw deep but he doesn't have the patience to dink and dunk his way all the way down and score.

    I don't think people realize how fast Hardman is. He's blistering. That's why teams had such a hard time covering both of those speed demons Hill and Hardman. Without Hill They will double hardman. Losing Hill is tremendous, especially since he is responsible for like 2/3s of thier big plays. Everyone acts like his speed is unique, but many lightning fast guys have been in the NFL. Hill is fast and quick. His stop/start and cut ability is what's unparalleled by other current athletes. The guy is lightning in a bottle. But He's not the fastest Ive ever seen in pads. Chris Johnson was faster. So was Don Beebe.
