AG1 contains caffeine. Not everyone can have or wants caffeine. Please be honest and disclose that. Also just saying a years supply of vit d is not correct. Unless someone gets a blood test they have no way of knowing how much if any vit d is needed. I take 10,000 iu per day. My husband takes 2,000. This is based on our blood work. So just saying a years supply is very misleading. A little honesty would go a long way.

y'all need protein from meat and fats from animal fat. Arachidonic acid is only found in animal fat. Cobalmin (the only source of cobalt your body uses, which is needed for new blood cell creation) is only found in animals. Supplements are no substitute for WHOLE FOODS. the seed advice is golden, pepitas and pumpkin seeds will balance well. Vegetables are no substitute for human evolution (meat eating/fishing). Your brain is primarily saturated fat and that needs animal fat to function naturally and not substitute neurotransmitters for plant substitutes. The very best thing you two can eat in a single serving (to lower your meat eating) is to eat LIVER! full of heme iron, protein, fat, beneficial enzymes. you wont regret it and your gut will tell you, 'you have been missing out'
I will say that when you got your sinuses checked I was having problems personally. You inspired me to continue to advocate for myself and it led to my cancer diagnosis. Which led to the proper doctors and treatment I am currently doing very well and I got my first all-clear from my Radiologist, Oncologist, and ENT- Thank you for being so open and honest.
@@gonewiththewynns Indeed it was scary it's been a long process with many harsh treatments. @@gonewiththewynns Great video. Thank you for sharing. First I would like to say we are all different and our bodies respond differently to life. Many years ago I was vegetarian for 3 years while at the same time I was weight lifting. It turned out to be a bad combination that caused me life long damage. Like I said everyone is different, but if you are going to do resistance training, which of course everyone should, doing it without the consumption of protein could make things worse. Highly processed protein powders are an option, but it's a highly processed "substance" and that has it's own downside. There is no plant on earth that has adequate protein for muscle building from resistance training. So it's something to consider. Also, something that works for me but we are all different, is doing heavy resistance training two to four months and then basically none for the rest of the year. And without changing my diet. I eat a balanced diet of things that I like year round. I've tried many specialized diets over the decades, as well as everyone else I know, and in all of us the only thing they've achieved... lots of discomfort and stress with every meal. The only food strategy that has had positive effects are moderation-never eat until I feel stuffed. I always live a little room, and avoid processed anything. But on occasions its OK, twice a month or less. That means all forms of junk food. At nearly 50 I feel better, and I have more power and endurance than at any time in my life.
@Metal0sopher they do eat quite a bit of protein and, as stated in the vid, their protein levels are fine. They often say the are "vegetarians" but they are in fact ovo-lacto-pescatarians, so they're getting dairy, eggs, and seafood too. Curious Minion
Years ago 2 friends and I spent a couple weeks in Phuket and surrounding area for scuba, snorkeling and tourist stuff. After one snorkel trip, friend starting coughing up blood, went to hospital. They quickly, and accurately diagnosed him with non hodgkins lymphoma . Spent 10 days getting some initial treatment, then flew back to CA with nurse and went to Scripps for another 3 weeks. He's still around to this day thanks to the work done. Thailand hospital costs were amazingly low, he later thought should have stayed there for all treatment.
@@shamus813 There are no absolutes their is great healthcare and horrible healthcare in every country but unquestionably the US has the most expensive least transparent system in the world. There is a shortage of doctors and nurses and the individual practitioner that knows the patient as an individual is disappearing fast. With few exceptions the US patient is not treated as a customer but as a product. The customer is your insurance company not you and your insurance company’s customer is your employer not you. Additionally US doctors are mostly prima donnas that use technology as a crutch. For the most part third world doctors treat the patient not the disease which is something that has mostly disappeared from US healthcare unless you are wealthy enough to afford concierge medicine and create an endowment. Even then it may not be available if you don’t believe me call the Mayo Clinic and try and schedule an executive physical then come back here and share your experience.
Thank you very much 🙏 for visiting Bangkok Hospital Phuket and sharing your hands-on experiences to international communities, which can help boost their confidence when coming to Thailand and in a need of medical care and treatments. We hope our medical services will keep you strong in a renewed pursuit of better and more vigorous health for you both.
I was so impressed that the health providers in Thailand didn't just share results, they explained them and gave you suggestions on how to improve. That has never happened to me in the States. Now they just tell me to read my results online and there is never any advice on how to improve except "Here take this prescription". And the cost and convenience was incredible - I thought the facility was gorgeous.
You must not be seeing the right doctors in the US. All of my doctors explain everything. I’ve never been told just to read my results online. Yes my results are available online but the doctor still explains. Also my doctors do tell me how to improve my health. I’m not just handed a prescription and sent out the door. Seems as though you choose bad doctors. It’s reckless to just say doctors in America just hand out scripts. Yes American healthcare can be confusing and of course it’s very costly. That doesn’t mean healthcare is bad. Ever been to the Cleveland clinic or Mayos? This hospital you went to seems more like a boutique hospital intended to get money from the wealthy and tourists. Most hospitals in Asia are not like the one you showed.
homogeneous high trust societies give back to THEIR people. They also paid out of pocket and chose their doctor well. many Americans love to just go to urgent care and expect the care of a family physician. Pay any medical practice out of pocket and watch your service increase. Choosing a quality doctor (I'm assuming Nikki only chooses 5 star healthcare practitioners in foreign lands.) also pays it's dividends. Most of American hospitals are non-profits and the service reflects. Just saying...
In my non medical professional opinion, I think you both still look really good. It's still good to know what's going on, on the inside so you know how to stay that way. Glad to see the beautiful Nikki and the handsome Jason back. I always worry about you guys when I don't see a video on Sunday.
Awe, thanks. It does feel good to have it all done. Sorta like annual doing the engine maintenance and a rig check before setting off on another big voyage. 😘
it is amazing that Thailand does such an amazing job with medical prevention. I wish the US would do much more with prevention rather than pill pushing.
@@KhouryNatalie I spend a lot of time lived in thailand originally from germany and I think we have a pretty good quality standard in germany. never missed a thing in thailand! even had covid infection in early 2021 in thailand, organizattion and take care where superb! thailand is one of the top countries for medical tourism in the world, they even have special visa for this! cause quality standards and standars for surgery and dental work are the same like in western europe but 30% of the price.... as lonf as you pay for yourself or have international health coverage you are in good hands in thailand! Cambodia and Laos is a whole differnt story! If you have problems there and it is not life threatening, book a flight to Bangkok! Average hospital in thailand? just go to good major ones! like bkk hospital. you're not in phuket, pattaya, chiangMai or Bangkok? well, than book a flight to bankgok! you can fly from chiangmai or phuket to bangkok for under 20USD one way, it takes up to 90 minutes, and flights are daily.. so where's the problem? there is no excuse to have bad medical service in thailand! sawadee kap!
At least the level of care is available and to think that they have universal health care. 8n China it's run on a production line basis and very efficient in a lot of hospitals.
@@KhouryNatalieBangkok is top tier for sure. But average public hospitals are better than around this region. I mean. Where can you get a hospital checkup for less than a dollar? I was in an emergency suicide watch once last year. Admitted for a night in a random public hospital nearby. Full bill was around 8k thb but I paid 30 thb plus medicine cost per public healthcare law. P.S. I have health insurance for a private hospital. It's around 12k thb per year or 320 usd. Public hospitals tended to be too crowded in the past. But improvement of local public clinics and village health volunteers has lessened the load of public hospitals lately. Especially after covid.
This was such an interesting and informative video! I loved seeing the differences in healthcare culture, and the facilities were stunning! Especially the waiting room; that looked more like a hotel lobby LOL. It's unfortunate how far the US's healthcare has fallen but this video will help spread awareness at least.
This sort of video really points out how poorly served we are by our own medical system compared to some of those abroad. Case in point, my annual checkup appointment for August 2nd was cancelled by the doctor and the earliest I could get it rescheduled is February 5, 2024. I mean, seriously?! Glad to hear y'all got thumbs up on your results!
@@geoffnewman3109I daresay you'd have a different perspective on that if you had your 1st heart attack at age 36, had two angios to "fix" that, had another heart attack 5 years later and had to have a quintuple bypass (which for added fun included a collapsed lung, internal bleeding and a bad reaction to the anesthetic), and have had 6 stints since then. But please, you go right ahead with your blanket statements... I'm sure your cholesterol is just fine...
Wow so much better then US pricing and time. Your being very open with all this and its good for people to know what some other options are out there. Its so great watching you for the last few years keep healthy!
The US doctors and hospitals are prisoners of the Insurance companies. I've read that 30%+ of the cost is due to the piles of documents required to process claims. There are some cash only doctors in OKC with really reasonable costs per procedure. Not sure if other states have anything like that.
@@SirCharles12357. There are cash only practices all over. Many offer alternative medicine that isn’t covered by insurance. Many medical providers have opted not to accept Medicaid and some even deny Medicare.
@@scottmichaels12 Yes! If AG1 is so fabulous why aren’t they in better health? Plus it has caffeine in it. They don’t disclose that when talking about the energy they get from it .
I have a cyst on my liver. They found it years ago. I’m a nurse and never had heard of those. So they told me the same. Nothing to worry about. When they took my gallbladder out, they had me rescanned prior to see if it had grown and they would have removed it. It didn’t, so they didn’t. Great video for everyone . Deana
Hi Nikki and Jason, Over forty years ago we were soooo close to buying a catamaran but due to health reasons we bought a bus instead, which we lived in for an amazing 7 years ... since finding your channel I have been living vicariously through you on all your adventures and I just can't wait till WE are back on the water again ... thank you for fulfilling an old ladies dreams xoxo
What an amazing Video. You inspire me to have more done with my upcoming visit to my VA Doctor! What a great facility you were at; really open about what you experienced! Thank you for your thorough education of what to do, not guessing. Glad your results were so positive, and you have a baseline to guide you. Superb information! God Bless, be safe.
Thanks for posting this. This really points out how bad the US medical system really is. I get so frustrated listening to the false information fed to us by the US insurance and Medical industry such as they have to wait forever for appointments in these one payer countries. I have a job where I get to talk to a lot of Canadian truck drivers. I always ask them them how they like their health care system. They mention a few minor complaints but I always ask them about which they would rather have their health care system or the US's system. They always smile or laugh and say their system by a long shot. Maybe someday we can have a decent Healthcare system too. I really like the one stop medical treatment you received. It's so fractured here in the US.
Sadly not a lot of people will see this. You hit the nail on the head, false narratives promoted by our for profit health insurance industry has Americans defending a bullish*t system.
You guys are so awesome with the information that you share and wonderfully thorough. I am now using AG1 and I do feel better. Thank you for your information. Take care and stay well!!
OK, I know that this is going to sound parental, and it’s meant to be that way: I’m really proud of both of you for researching, thinking about and going through the testing, poking and prodding that this level of health check requires. My daughters are 43 and 41, and I tell them the same thing. If I have one bit of advice-don’t fear or put off any tests, especially things like colonoscopy, tests for cancer or screenings that sound a little scary…the results are worth it, and catching a problem early can make all the difference. Congrats for making it happen! -Don
I so agree with you Don on doing regular checkups! While I was living in the US (1985-2015) I did very little of that. Now that I am bouncing back and forth between Germany and the Spanish island of Mallorca, I do regular checkups because the cost is FAR less!.
As one of some six million Canadians without access to a Family Physician (having moved to British Columbia from Ontario in May 2022) except through a walk-in clinic, I am envious. BTW, Canadian health care is excellent when you can access, we do not have a "system", only 13 provincial and territorial services with various levels of care and costs.
It’s getting difficult to find a primary / general practitioner doctor in the US. Many aren’t accepting new patients or it takes several months to get an appointment. Many won’t prescribe pain medication, psych drugs, sleep aids, or prescription diet pills. It’s not uncommon for a primary just to give a referral to see another type of doctor. That’s a big problem in the US. Unless you go to a place like Mayos, you are stuck running all over to different facilities to get testing, then you are sent to different doctors. All of this is time consuming accounts for a lot of missed work and expense.
Between the cost the beautiful hospital and the professional looking doctors and nurses you guys hit the jackpot. The U.S. healthcare system could learn a thing or a thousand things from them. That is the most beautiful hospital I’ve ever seen.
In other countries, healthcare is all about the patient, and the costs are reasonable. In the U.S., it's all about the bottom line, and the costs are outrageous.
Not all hospitals are like that there. Get out in the rural areas and it’s completely different. That hospital they visited isn’t a typical representation of hospitals in that area.
That is a private and boutique hospital, clinic and surgery center. It would be like you going to a high end plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills to get a work up done and then schedule a bunch of procedures. If you ever have to visit a Thai hospital, especially in most port areas, the 'hospital' is usually in with the dentist, the local surgeon and their child runs the local chandler house all connected with the police station across the street. Laos is the worst unless you get to the center of a large city. Singapore is the absolute best. Hong Kong is hit or miss. Cambodia, Myanmar and Sri Lanka all usually suck. Vietnam is usually good and the Philippines has some decent places, but a lot of places still practice 'spirit' medicine too.
Jason - suggest adding PSA test for benchmark reading. It has fallen out of favor with many doctors, but it still provides a way to see a rapid increase if there is one. As a prostate cancer survivor (almost 10 years - at 77years old), I still get PSA tests twice a year. And FYI - colonoscopy is a surprisingly non-event. You don’t eat for a day then effectively over dose on laxative and softener then merely go to bathroom several more times than normal. No explosions, you just go to the bathroom. You already know how to do that. The procedure itself is painless - you’ll wake up and be surprised there’s no sensation - then you go eat breakfast or lunch.
My wife and myself have been watching you two from day one .from the RV to your beautiful boat .we have had so much fun following you from your crossings to your island to island fun filled days.your love for one another
Another thing to check with sinus issues is the level of Candida in your system If you are beer drinkers this could be an issue. Do research there is info available on line to tell you how to reduce the Candida in your body. It leads to inflammation! I went through the Candida cleanse and it was amazing the improvement on my health and no more allergy or sinus issues at all! Every system in my body improved 100%!
Well, shoot! This was motivating! I have been wanting to do this whole body wellness test for awhile but it would be astronomically expensive in the US…so I just won’t because we can’t afford that. It would be cheaper and take less time to fly to Thailand, do it all, stay, and fly back! As always, thank you guys for sharing this stuff, too! Pricing, experiences, true things required for healthy living and functioning while living nomadic and not just beautiful remote islands (though I enjoy those too)! 💛 Lots of love to you both!
Out of pocket in the US it will be around $500 possibly more. Find a Drs office that does all the blood work in house and it will be less. Tell a Dr you are paying CASH and you will be surprised at the prices. My cardiologist does a $99.99 “full cardio evaluation” blood tests (I don’t know witch ones), EKG, Echocardiogram and Carotid Ultrasound. You just need to find an office that owns all the equipment vs farms it out.
Really enjoyed the video. Love to see how to navigate Thailand. Food, accommodations, public transportation, do’s and don’ts. Glad you guys are back. Really inspiring.
Aww, haha, poor Jason. ❤ The same thing happened to me in Taiwan, and giving blood doesn’t even bother me! This was such a cool video and makes me miss the health care system in that part of the world so much. Glad you guys were able to get this!
I live in S. Fla and had my first body scan by dermatologist at 76 and luckily had no problem. Was originally in hospital to have cancerous tumor removed from head. Since my mother had skin cancer I was worried but no problem. I should have had it done earlier and on a regular basis.
I love that you both were able to get such a complete full body check-up!! I have had melanoma twice and because of that I go to a dermatologist twice a year for a full body scan. This year a had 2 pre-cancerous moles. 1 was very small and she got it all the 1st go. The second was further advanced and larger. I now have a 2inch scar on my back. So thankful that they have the ability to catch these things early. Hope you both can take these things going forward and stay in good health for many years to come!! ❤
Wow, you all took the tests but, we learn all the results that most probably don't even think about most of our lives. Excellent information and advice. Bless y'all
Hey Wynns! Don’t know if you remember me because I commented two years ago but I’m so happy to say I’m almost done with nursing school and just a few years away now from getting my own catamaran to sail the world! As a nursing student this is so interesting to see hospitals in other countries! Those chairs are so fancy for a hospital and don’t look easy to sanitize 😲😂 Sorry you passed out Jason 😭 my fiancé doesn’t like when I practice finding veins on him 😅 can’t wait to see the new boat! 🩷🛥️🌅🌈
@@gonewiththewynns aaaahhhhh thanks for the response! My plan is to do travel nursing to save the money and then once I’m ready to buy I’ll get a telehealth job and work remotely. I’m constantly researching the best internet options for sailing and always hoping they come out with some better stuff by the time I’m outfitting 😂 luckily if telehealth won’t work out due to Wi-Fi or something then per diem travel nursing options from island to island could be an option! Always planning, dreaming, and reworking the plan you know how it is 😂
It's so encouraging to hear the doctors actually advise you on nutrition and what foods to eat to boost certain levels. Unfortunately in the US, (at least for me in my experience) no doctor has said "Oh eat more seeds to boost that number..." they prescribe something instead of educating you about food and nutrition. It's surprising and very sad that there's such a huge gap here with the medical profession and "common sense." Also, I think in general with the way food supply is in the world and the state of the environment and soil, it's very difficult (even when eating organic and whole foods) to get all the nutrients without supplementing. I've seen as I get older that my body makes me very aware when I am lacking in something like magnesium, vitamin D, etc.
So interesting. Thank you for sharing. It almost sounds like booking a two week vacation and getting your healthcare taken care of is cheaper than having it done in the US.
I am almost 70 and I live in the US. This video made me very jealous. I can't even find a general doctor and the cost is crazy and the scheduling is so far out I'd be dead before I got to see anyone. That's probably why our hospital emergency rooms are so crowded.
My hubby is the vegetable eater but he’s the one diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Diet and lifestyle are big but family history also plays a part. Sounds like a very positive experience
I was so surprised when my mom’s endocrinologist talked about how much our genetics affect the development of type II. No wonder so many family members had diabetes.
Y'all are good!. Y'all made a topic that had the huge potential for boredom very entertaining and informative. Look forward to visiting with y'all every Sunday!
Hello guys! Thanks for this information. Not that I’m going to Thailand anytime soon but good to know! Love watching your videos. Don’t get to comment often as I am usually watching you on my TV. Keep up the good work! Congratulations on the new boat too!!
Dear Wynns, I'm now 69 years old, eat right, exercise, sleep (well not regularly scheduled) and still go surfing when the waves are gentle. I have suffered a heart issue 15 years ago that ultimately result in a triple bypass. Last year my s--thole employer ended my career. I only hope I will still have the will power to continue.
Thank you for such an open and informative health care video. When I travel, I always research how far and reputable the local hospitals are just in case something should go awry. Glad you got thoroughly checked out and the healthcare you need. Wishing you both good health and wonderful travels ahead.

Healthcare whilst travelling can seem like such a jackpot but when it’s our only option it can definitely influence where we choose to sail next! Glad all is looking good.
As a health nut for 30 years or so, I noticed something missing in your health maintenance plan: 80% of your immune system starts in your gut! Also, your digestive system is very important! Look into things you can take to improve that..like prebiotic, pre-biotics, digestive enzymes, apple cider vinegar, etc. Liked your video, very interesting for someone who lives in Canada...
Very challenging to eat correctly! It is doable, and I find myself constantly working out a great health plan! Health is always #1. I say everyday, Perfect Health , Perfect Life and A Magic Future! Without health, nothing matters!
"They don't do that anymore." -- Got news for ya, Jason … Here in Tokyo, silver amalgam is still the base material covered by national health insurance. If you want polymer resin fillings, the price goes up by leaps and bounds.

Waw virgo couples goals...fan from Aruba. .
Good on both of you for bringing such an important point to the forefront.....wellness is not something many of us think about. How is the boat build going?
Glad y'all are doing okay, thanks for all the info. (Jason I passed out once too giving blood ). Another sailor had a breast cancer scare so glad you got that checked out now. (Grace on Calico Sky's). Stay healthy.
OUTSTANDING! I doubt my initial flight physical for the Air Force, the most comprehensive one I've ever had, was as thorough as the one you two just took. I do remember they drew 6 vials of blood and the entire physical took 7-1/2 hours, with a ton of audiological, ophthalmological, pulmonary, kinesthetic, coordination, strength, cardiovascular, conditioning, psychological and other exams. Roughly half that amount of that time, however, was spent waiting on the next station. As for vegetarianism/veganism, I have more than 5 medical doctors in my family including two (mostly) vegetarians. As I'm very careful about what I eat and how I exercise, I've asked them all multiple questions over the years concerning diet, exercise and other issues of a medical nature. I've tried both veganism and vegetarianism, as have several members in our family. Two cousins did all the research, partnered with vegan teams in town, and lasted for about 20 years until they both came down with some long-term symptoms and condition indicative of a long-term lack of two essential amino acids only found in... Meat. So, after both had turned 50, they bit the bullet and now include small portions of eggs, fish, poultry, and yes, Biblically-acceptable mammalian meat in their diet. Sparingly, but there. They both feel much better, a condition substantiated by their significantly improved bloodwork. As for me, no matter how well I eat, I become a mental vegetable in about 6 weeks without the regular consumption of meat. There's a lot of dense nutrition in meat, especially beef. Besides, humans have indeed evolved as meat-eaters (omnivores), not herbivores, and the indisputable evidence of this exists in the many chemical/metabolic cycles inherent in human physiology are specifically designed to handle a variety of animal meats and fats. These metabolic pathways are also present in other mammalian omnivores and carnivores, but are either greatly reduced or not present at all in true mammalian herbivores. Kudos to Thailand for not dumping a ton of medications on you! If my doctor had his way, I'd be taking 7 band-aid medications a day instead of the one I actually need, having solved the root issues of all others via diet and exercise. American Nothing wrong with supplements -- in moderation. I take a 1/2 daily dose of a well-known, comprehensive multivitamin (about $1/month). Far more supplements than A and E can cause problems in excess, however. I like the idea of taking half a scoop of your A1 greens to round out your nutrition while eating a wide variety from all classes of foods: - Vegetables - Fruits - Nuts - Seeds - Beans - Legumes - Grains - Meats - Poultry - Meats - Fish - Meats - Beef - Eggs - Dairy - Spices (cinnamon, turmeric, etc.)
Glad to hear it all turned out good. I was in the AirForce in 67 and was living in Nakon Phanom. I visited Bangkok several times. I enjoyed being there.
The cost of medical in other countries blows my mind. Even with insurance you'll pay 4X more then anything mentioned. You two are doing it right though by catching things early. Most of us older folk ignored early symptoms.
Very interesting news and medical exams. Would love to have such a full exam in Canada. Cheaper then everything here. Good to hear you are both fairly healthy for your next adventure.
Advice for your medical bag on ship: Clove essential oil. It is a topical anesthetic, particularly useful for the mouth, used in such a way for centuries. You mentioned in the video the potential of dental problems on a passage. It's probably the best way to dull dental pain without carrying around restricted substances.

AG1 contains caffeine. Not everyone can have or wants caffeine. Please be honest and disclose that. Also just saying a years supply of vit d is not correct. She sure is a beautiful boat just a breathtaking color choice too- 💝
@@gonewiththewynns Great video.

Thank goodness the Wynns are back for Sunday morning!
Excellent! Americans don’t realize how far our healthcare system has deteriorated. This is a great public service
No offense but my Healthcare is excellent. Now I have a job that pays my health insurance.
To be fair, the AG1 bottle could be less messy. Don’t sweat it, Nicky. It isn’t just you.
homogeneous high trust societies give back to THEIR people.
@@gonewiththewynnsyour welcome. Fair winds to you. ❤️
@@gonewiththewynns has your husband ever considered a good hairstylist? thailand is the right place for it.
it is amazing that Thailand does such an amazing job with medical prevention. I wish the US would do much more with prevention rather than pill pushing.
Never will happen. Too many greedy pharmaceutical companies. Too much money to be made.
This video is not indicative of the average hospital in Thailand or elsewhere in Asia. Don’t be fooled.
Being proactive in your healthcare is super. Happy to hear you're on your way to improve.💖
Wow. That's just wrong. Dang!
@@gonewiththewynns Well, it's the VA so not entirely out of character...
Annual check ups are of no value.
@@seafodder6129 I am 70 and fit. I don’t know what my cholesterol is because I have chosen not to have it tested.
Wow so much better then US pricing and time. Your being very open with all this and its good for people to know what some other options are out there. Its so great watching you for the last few years keep healthy!
That looked better than Canada.
And yet they’re promoting AG1 which would cost a couple $2400 per year…of course they get it for free.
@@scottmichaels12 Yes! If AG1 is so fabulous why aren’t they in better health? Plus it has caffeine in it. They don’t disclose that when talking about the energy they get from it .
Absolutely an incredible amount of information in one video. Thank you! Rockstars!
We lived in SE Asia for a few years, and healthcare was top notch! The US could learn a lot from other countries.
Thanks guys, that was great. Glad to hear your both doing well. :)
All your videos are good but this one about total health and care is the most informative and provocative. Thank You!
You guys are so awesome with the information that you share and wonderfully thorough. I am now using AG1 and I do feel better. Thank you for your information. Take care and stay well!!
This was so intetesting to watch and so much knowledge for savvy travellers! Thank you Nikki and Jason!❤❤
Socialism is awesome!
That’s a private hospital or the private side of the hospital. The normal Thai citizen with “Universal healthcare” wouldn’t have access to that area.
Not all hospitals are like that there. Get out in the rural areas and it’s completely different. That hospital they visited isn’t a typical representation of hospitals in that area.
If we could kick the Gov out of our hospital. We could have this kind of service. That’s why we are Fucked!!!!
Ive had great experiences with Thai healthcare. Very impressed.
35 minutes of your Dr visit, holy moly so very exciting. Y'all really need your boat done.
Great video, I love learning about daily life in a different country (even through a tourist eye)! 🥦
Really great video...always interesting to see health care indifferent countries...
I lived in hkg for some years. All my expat friends would go to Bangkok hospital for their medical checkups. Rated it highly
I would definitely prefer Thailand Medical Systems after seeing this than our own here in the US. Any day.
So glad to have you back✌️💜
Really enjoyed the video.
Pumpkin seeds are also natural anti parasitic!!! Packed with minerals! One of my faves! Dogs and cats can also consume them!
What a wonderful way to do a wellness check! Thanks for sharing.
I found this fascinating and I'm glad that you shared this. I hope it inspires others to be proactive about investigating their health.
I live in S. Fla and had my first body scan by dermatologist at 76 and luckily had no problem. Was originally in hospital to have cancerous tumor removed from head. Since my mother had skin cancer I was worried but no problem. I should have had it done earlier and on a regular basis.
Love this! So informative and cool to see how it’s done in Thailand.
That’s a private hospital. That’s not the normal UHC hospital service.
Good to see you back! Fascinating on the wellness- you 2 are so healthy, makes you think. Fab x
Ha ha, at least you have a practice patient. 😂 Congratulations on the boat! Will you be a traveling nurse now? Taking gigs along the coast?
It almost sounds like booking a two week vacation and getting your healthcare taken care of is cheaper than having it done in the US.
that's why thailand has that lot of medical tourism!!
I am almost 70 and I live in the US. This video made me very jealous. I can't even find a general doctor and the cost is crazy and the scheduling is so far out I'd be dead before I got to see anyone. That's probably why our hospital emergency rooms are so crowded.
you won't find general doctors easily here in thailand.
My hubby is the vegetable eater but he’s the one diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Diet and lifestyle are big but family history also plays a part.
Sounds like a very positive experience
Check out a Dr Ken Berry video about type 2 diabetes and then read the video comments. Type 2 diabetes is easily reversible with the correct diet.
I was so surprised when my mom’s endocrinologist talked about how much our genetics affect the development of type II. No wonder so many family members had diabetes.

Dear Wynns, I'm now 69 years old, eat right, exercise, sleep (well not regularly scheduled) and still go surfing when the waves are gentle.

American
Nothing wrong with supplements -- in moderation. I take a 1/2 daily dose of a well-known, comprehensive multivitamin (about $1/month). Far more supplements than A and E can cause problems in excess, however. I like the idea of taking half a scoop of your A1 greens to round out your nutrition while eating a wide variety from all classes of foods:
- Vegetables
- Fruits
- Nuts
- Seeds
- Beans
- Legumes
- Grains
- Meats - Poultry
- Meats - Fish
- Meats - Beef
- Eggs
- Dairy
- Spices (cinnamon, turmeric, etc.)
Thank you for taking care of youSssss… Jason stop stressing …easier said than done… but let’s go! I love both of you… please keep making us contents 🥹
Glad to hear it all turned out good. I was in the AirForce in 67 and was living in Nakon Phanom. I visited Bangkok several times. I enjoyed being there.
You lived in Nakorn Phanom in 1967 when the Vietnam war was raging ?
The cost of medical in other countries blows my mind. Even with insurance you'll pay 4X more then anything mentioned. You two are doing it right though by catching things early. Most of us older folk ignored early symptoms.
Thank the expense on the price of education and insurance against litigation.
Very interesting news and medical exams. Would love to have such a full exam in Canada. Cheaper then everything here. Good to hear you are both fairly healthy for your next adventure.
Just think how much fun it will be binge & binder your back to normal...
How crazyy. Keep strong, love you guys!! Best regards from Colombia!
Advice for your medical bag on ship: Clove essential oil. It is a topical anesthetic, particularly useful for the mouth, used in such a way for centuries. You mentioned in the video the potential of dental problems on a passage. It's probably the best way to dull dental pain without carrying around restricted substances.
I never thought that hospital experience was such a pleasant experience with lots of laughing, giggling and smiles and spending so much of money freely.
You both did great! Amazing information all so well done Thank you!
It is so sad that the great USA is not so great with health care, you figure.

Very interesting video. It's so important to take care of these routine Healthcare checkups while you are stationary. Now that you have established a relationship with those doctors, you'll feel more at ease the next time.
Really fantastic episode. It helps to understand what the healthcare experience is like around the world. It's incredible that you got into a dermatologist next day for under $100. Amazing, really!
Very interesting that they suggested intermittent fasting for Jason. I have just started reading up on that and doing it myself. It is easier than expected and I do feel better. Please let us know how you do with that, Jason. Hi to you both!
So happy you’re doing ok. It’s sad that US healthcare system is just getting worse. I think I would be very satisfied with Thai healthcare and many other places too. The wait for care here is crazy!!
Welcome back. I’ve missed your postings. After our first 2 months living in Tanzania, my wife was medivac to Nairobi . By 5:00 pm my wife had an emergency appendectomy. It went great. Hope yours is ok. Glad to hear you’re vegetarian too.
Popcorn and a Red Bull. Time for the show!!
Basic training in the Army got me over passing out from needles. We had lots of practice.
Excellent presentation. Hopefully many of your followers will take seriously their own need for check-ups. Love you both.
Thank you so much for this video!! We are boaters and you provided much needed info 🥰🥰
No water, no boats, no food, no drone shots, no scenery, and I still enjoyed the video! So yeah it must be you both 😊
Nikki you should go grain free and see how your inflammation improves. At a minimum get rid of seed oils!!
