I been living in Shenzhen for the past 7 years and traveling by train is better then flying within China, the overnight sleeper trains are fun but slow, you do meet a lot of intresting people though. Just don't travel during Chinese new year that's a whole experience in it's self. Hope you 2 enjoy tour trip
I love trains, more civilised and easier to stretch your legs and look around. Plus if you really want you can get off, even if it's not your stop 😊 and it's more environmentally friendly.
Excellent episode! I have always thought that we, as Americans, have been lied to about China. My own experiences are very similar to yours. I hope to go again as we live in the Philippines part of some years. I was originally swayed in my impression of China by the entertainer "Yanni." Yanni was the first western entertainer to perform a concert in the forbidden city inside Bejing in 1997. He produced a documentary that was part of his video called "Tribute." He, along with his entire orchestra, were in the country for about six weeks, and he was blown away in the good way as most westerners are. Since then, I have found that country to be a place I always look forward to visiting more. By the way, that high-speed railway system was built from nothing to the largest in world in 8-11 years, depending on who you ask. Amazing!
we actually got taught about Yanni’s Nightingale in our music class. As a Chinese and a Beijing local, that’s the first moment I felt that music really has no border.
As a second generation Chinese American, I can say that Chinese people are very proud of their culture and heritage. They get so excited when foreigners try to speak their language, even if it’s a simple hello or thank you. I am glad you guys are enjoying your time in China.
You are absolutely correct in saying western politics has a different view on what China really is, I'm a Kiwi living in China and have been here for a decade, the country is beautiful the people are lovely and welcoming, what more do you need, oh maybe some more tea, it's a multi billion industry in China and they are so proud of it 🙏🙏🙏
Interesting, Kiwi lives in China, and I'm a Chinese living in NZ for like 20 years. You are right, every time that TV one has news about China, it's a negative one😢😢
Lol, made me recall something else. Kiwi the fruit was originally from China, and kiwi your people renamed it as kiwi, made it famous around the world. 😂
Thank you for showing us how beautiful China and China's people are. I have been following you for many years and China appears to be one of the most beautiful places you have visited. And the Chinese people appear to be among the most friendly people you have ever visited.
It's the best time to visit China now.,cause there is currenttly a visa free policy for people outside of China for up to 15 days to visit China! Besides that you will find everything is so affordable in China!
@@jenniferzhang864 This 15-day visa free policy is for people from 5 European countries .There are Italy,France,Spain,Germany and Netherlands, one asian country, that is Malaysia
@@YangZhang-ww6dv You are right about it. Citizens of 54 countries have 144 hours transit visa free staying in China, with connecting air tickets for a 3rd country or region (Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macau).
Actually, you can take bullet trains to 80% of the cities in China. The ticket is very affordable.Take the line between Kunming and Chendu as an examle,it's about 700 kilometers but it only cost 70 us dollars. The speed may vary according to the terrain. If it's smooth and only a few stops in between,it can travel at 280km/h or so.The food is also very cheap, for a very descent meal in the restaurant in most cities ,you only need to pay 12 us dollars ,a big 、clean room in the downtown with all the facilities(2 beds)only costs you 40 us dollars
The man sitting next to Jason on the train while Jason is explaining how they decided where to go, was so interested and had the cutest smile on his face. That all was so cool! I sat here with a huge smile on my face completely entranced. I have kind of wanted to go there for a long time, but now seeing how the people are so sweet, it makes me want to go more.
The reason they don't want you to wear your crocs on the escalator is that the soft squishy material of the shoe can jam in between the moving steps more easily than a hard soled shoe.
Same warning in Singapore. Happened here many times too, where the soft shoe gets sucked in at the side of the escalator steps resulting in small foot/toes getting mangled! Usually such incidents involve young kids!!
I loved this video. I lived in China for 8 years and watching you guys brought back so many memories. I can shed some light on the things that amaze you in the video. For one the hot water, Chinese people prefer hot water as a normal drink compered to cold. As it helps you with the digestaton, what I heared form them is that it helps for a oil not to stick to your gut. Also for taking picture, I know it sounds weird but some of the people never seen foreigners there or very few and they like to take pictures with foreigners because its new. I really loved China and it has great things that you should try if you are in a bigger city like taobao, and didi, or stuff like that. Hope you are having a great time. :D
We visited China 4 times between 2002 and 2015, the last one going from Shanghai to Beijing but with a cruise on the Yangtze and visiting Xi'an and many other places. We've experienced similar behavior and I cannot wait to go back.... Glad you're enjoying the exploration and the people. Can't wait until the next video.
I truly enjoy all your videos and information you share. Above all, it means most to me the experiences you share of the people and places. I've always suspected that the news we Americans get of China (and other countries) is skewed by politics and hidden agendas. I'm so pleased to know the Chinese people are friendly, curious, honest and humble. Simply wonderful.
There are currently 144 hours of transit visa free entry! As long as you have a ticket to another country, you can enter China without a visa for 144 hours. Although it is not that long, you can first take a look at whether China has been collapsing or is about to collapse as described in Western media narratives. There are beautiful scenery and lovely people here. Come on!
@@wintersl4544 Sorry, I made a mistake. 144 hours of transit visa free entry is for all countries. 15 days visa free entry is for France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and Malaysia. Sorry!

We traveled to China to finalize an adoption years ago and traveled around Beijing and then Guanzhou. The people were lovely, and we deeply enjoyed our time there. Our biological son was seven with long blond hair and blue eyes and everyone wanted a picture with him. At first, he was nervous, but we suggested he should think of himself as a rock star whose adoring fans wanted a selfie with him. That won him over and we laughed every time someone would try to sneak a picture of their child with ours. Our Chinese daughter is a joy!
I have watched several videos of RUclipsrs traveling around the world and no other city in any other country surpasses this city in comparison to the following cities in China. These cities are Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Nanjing, Wuhan, Chengdu, and Tianjin. These cities are characterized by their wealthy people, sophisticated cityscapes and futuristic architecture, and societies that have embraced the latest technologies. These cities are some of the most attractive cities in this world today.
in fact, there r so many beautiful and awesome cities in China,as if Suzhou、Qingdao、Dalian、Luoyang、Quanzhou、Kunming、Dali、Guizhou、Libo、Xi‘an、Dunhuang、Harbinect
Wow! How interesting, and the very opposite of what we in America are led to believe about China. My father has traveled almost the entire world and China was by far his favorite place to visit. I almost feel like I was there with you.❤
I went to Shanghai on business back in 2020 just before the Covid pandemic hit. I have told everyone the same thing you experienced - even in a large city like Shanghai everyone was so nice. Everyone was proud to show off their country and make you feel welcome. I never would have expected that considering all the negativity in the news. It was an unexpected delight to relive that with you. I have watched your channel since right before you transitioned from RV to Sailboat. I look forward to your videos every weekend. You guys have a second career as a touring channel. You guys do great work.
The section in the tea shop kinda broke my heart. It's so easy to just see a people group as nothing more than a sum of their government and the political divisions. Such a beautiful culture and people. Seeing the joy that she got in sharing a part of her world with you really drives it home just how pointless all of the divisions and wedges we drive between ourselves.
My daughter went to Beijing 13 years ago to teach English. She was 21 at the time. 1 year later I went to visit her for 3 weeks. She could only get 1 week off work, so we decided to travel to Xian (terracotta warriors etc). I like train travel, so we decided to go to Xian on the overnight train, and return to Beijing 5 days later on the high speed train. Really enjoyed the actual travel AND really liked Xian. Because my daughter had already lived in China for a year by the time I went to visit her, she already knew most of the tricks and traps of living there, it made things a lot easier for me.
Over the last 15 years a massive network of highways..High speed rails and metro in every major cities were build...Time to revisit...and yes...I saw clear blue sky...whereas 15 years ago..there were toxic cloud...😅😊 China progress is fantastic 😂
You guys have no idea how much positive vibes you’ve brought to the people of the world and to those who are forming their impression towards China. And that’s precious.
Wow you guys are shattering US myths about China and its people! Thanks so much. The value of this people to people connection is incalculable. I want to visit China!
What myths? It's all there. Except that you will not see everything on a short trip like this. It is nice to see but they are skimming the touristy topping. Try also going a bit deeper.
Thank you for the wake up call! I didn't realize North American programing had left me growing up with a totally wrong impression of China and her people. I had thought millions of people were crowded into small areas where pollution was everywhere. What you showed was so much nicer. Thank you so much nicer!
I have watched you for over a decade and this is my all-time favorite video, ever! I believe regardless of the country and their political status with the US the people are so amazing and we do humanity a disservice with all the hate spewed. If the opportunity comes up I would now do China. The Wynns, America’s true goodwill ambassadors!
You guys put together some of the hands down best travel show content, which is saying a lot considering it's just the two of you and you're not using a high budget professional film crew or studio. Fantastic job as always!
I was thinking the exact same thing when this video popped up. I thought about how much I enjoy their travel content and how it was more enjoyable than even travel shows on TV are.
Thank you so much for taking us along on your adventure. The Stone forest was amazing. The media shows what politicians want us to see and think. But, the people of China was so warm and friendly. Thanks again for opening our eyes.
This video was very eye opening for me. The culture and friendliness of the Chinese people was something I never expected. You two have put together a superb piece of art. I never write comments but this video has really enlightened me and I want you to know what a great job you’re doing. I have been watching since the rv days and your skill and content gets better with each video. Train or plane? Train every time. My plane experiences could fill a book of mishaps.
@@thisiskevin1000 The "Unseen China series" by the youtube channel "Little Chinese Everywhere" being the best one imo. Such a great travel video series.
For some reason, I am crying. This was such a special episode, thank you. I appreciate you sharing China with us. I will most likely never be blessed to visit there. It is saddening that people can't just be people - politics/power/control often tries to divide. Eagerly looking forward to your Silk Road episode. Thanks again.
Of everywhere you've taken us all over the world, this trip has got to be ranked in the top 5. Can't believe how beautiful China is and what awesome, happy people. Certainly doesn't live up to the media hype we are fed about China. I'd like to visit.
I can't wait to visit China. Their endless pursuit at development is the most crazy thing happening on the entire planet. Their people seem so friendly and have such respect for everyone. You could never run out of places to visit or new experiences to enjoy.
WOW!! What an amazing adventure. I’m so happy you decided to take the time to show us parts of China we would never get to experience. Thank you so much. Anxious for your next video. Safe travels 😊❤️
Love your content, love your openness and Beginner's Mind, how wonderful that there are people like you showing the world the REAL China, beyond what we hear in the West. Thank you for this!
In fact, ordinary people in China use Western-style toilets at home, but we prefer squatting toilets in public places to avoid indirect contact with other people's skin, which is considered dirty and may contain viruses.
You both did an incredible job filming this trip and the narration was excellent and so honest. China is an amazing tourist destination, clean and very safe. You two are amazing!
At 83 years old I want to thank you as I am a little late for this side of the earth. Thank You so much for taking all bazillon of us along Thanks again for the free trip LOL
The teahouse journey was so special! Thank you for sharing that with us. Beautiful. I grew up in Hong Kong as a child (I'm an American) and growing up in what is now China was one of the true joys of my life. This traveling journey you shared with us was amazing!
The pu'erh tea ceremony is extremely well done by the tea shop owner. And yes, pu'erh is totally a rabbit hole, that myself and one of my co-workers went down many years ago. Resulting in sets of wooden tea trays, tea cups, tea pots, gaiwans, and more. Watching the tea shop segment really brought back some great memories of that time. I'm so glad you guys got to experience that. Did you feel "tea drunk" after so many infusions of sheng pu'erh? It's a unique feeling that's close enough to a caffeine "high" but somewhat different, more of a full body sensation. Some of the younger teas will bring about a more unpleasant feeling, until they've gotten 15-20 years of age or more. The process of shou pu'erh was an attempt by tea makers to shortcut that aging process by initially fermenting the tea leaves more strongly.
I've personally bought aged cakes that were over $USD 100 and that's not even close to "expensive" for this particular type of tea. Is it worth it? I guess if you really like it. Realize that a full cake of aged pu'erh will last a single person a very long time even if they drink it regularly. The traditional size is 357g which is a lot of tea!
Normally what I do is to buy some "younger" tea cakes which would cost much less, then store them in a cool and dry place. Then probably after 5 years or even more, I will dig them out. 😉
@@Gris59 最贵的能卖到几十万元,最便宜的几十块钱,产地广泛,种类繁多,当然一分价钱一分货。The most expensive tea can even be sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars per kg, while the cheapest one is only a few dozen dollars per kg. It is widely produced and comes in a great variety. Of course, you get what you pay for.
This is the kind of video I love the most--exploration and connection. Is it good enough? For you, perhaps not. For me, and maybe other viewers who have never been there, absolutely yes. It cracks open the bubble in which we live and opens us to greater possibilities. Your exploration of tea and culture with the Chinese couple made me cry with unexpected satisfaction. Thank you for sharing. Thanks you for your revelatory curiosity.
As a U.S. southerner who enjoys Southern Sweat Tea I have learned the Chinese Tea tradition and meanings. It has been a fascinating journey to learn. I have purchased original Chinese Tea pots and cups. I make and serve tea for my spouse with reverence rather than a rush. Drinking roots and herbs for healing, or aged tea leaves for enjoyment using the Chinese method is calming, centering, and most of all, remindful. It makes causes me to remember to be grateful for the simplest things, for the one sharing the tea, for the time I have. Glad you learned about the Chinese tea method. I could watch your videos like this one for hours!
Tea is very popular in China! But there are differences. In the north, the wine culture is more prominent, while in the south, the tea culture is more prominent! In provinces such as Fujian, China, people usually boil a pot of tea after a meal and slowly savor the aroma of the tea and the tranquility of life.
I very much appreciate that you are amongst those who are challenging the "popular narative" about China and posting about it on the RUclips. Despite all the talks about understand or at least respecting that everyone is different, let alone between cultures, the majority of people these days are still continuing to push their own thoughts and values onto others, to be their version of "normal".
ive lived in Xiamen for 12 years and i find it very interesting to see things ive gotten used too through your fresh perspective. Western news really has no idea what they are talking about when it comes to daily lives of normal people here.
@@partyhu You know what is a narrative? If you do, you wouldn't be asking this. I clarify I referred to the major news media in case you misunderstood. 😆
I love your positivity and open mindedness! Thank you for being a great ambassador and showing the world how China really is ❤😊 love from Australia (where our media only tells us negative things about China)
What an amazing experience, and a beautiful country! I think if many Americans could do what you did; travel to the same places, we would all feel a lot different about China as an adversary. Jason, you did a great job of documenting the stone forest and its tortuous trails. My mother went to China 22 years ago (I remember because it was just before 9/11; she was trapped there for 10 days before a return flight could be arranged.) She went with a planned group and had a Chinese "guide" (minder) with her the whole time. She raved about how welcoming and polite everyone was, just like you.
China is a magical country when you're a tourist, however when you become a local through family ,friends ,and speaking Mandarin,China becomes a paradise.
High speed train is one of the best way to travel in China and Japan. Other Asian countries are following steps thanks to China help. Great video, amazing footage. Looking forward for the next episode :)
Just found your channel and absolutely love it. Thank you for sharing your travels with us. There’s been a huge gap in western understanding of China and it’s people. I hope ppl can gain a better understanding of China through your lens. Keep up the excellent work!
It is amazing to see how much China has changed since my last visit almost 25 years ago (yes, politics aside). Get a passport, people. Turn off your screen, pack a bag, and see the world!
Truly amazing. I toured 11 provinces in China and only the flies in Hunan in summer was an "bad" experience. The country and the people are amazing and very patient with visitors and tourists. Lovely video work
I was fortunately enough to tour China just before COVID hit so 2019. The place was magical and I enjoyed every minute of it. From the tea plantations to being able to climb a pretty steep portion of the Great Wall I would go back in a heart beat. Venturing into off the beaten path places was even more interesting as the Chinese had a fascination with Western tourists. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Taking the train is the only way to go and the high, high speed trains are impressive. Glad you enjoyed yourselves.
@@yudonghui Trains are not the only way to travel. You can also take long-distance buses. But if you have limited time and want a good travel experience, I recommend you take the train. Long-distance buses can only go 120km/h on the highway, so Relatively speaking it’s really slow! For inter-provincial travel, you can also take a plane~
Everywhere I have been I find people are the same, if only our governments could get along the way ordinary people can. What a great video and you did it more than mere justice Jason Fair winds guys xx
Jason and Nikki, I don't think you were inadequate at all in portraying this adventure--it was beautiful. When you were commenting on the great reception you re receive from all the locals, it reminded me of a comment Keith on Zatara made while they were traveling through the Red Sea. He said something along the lines of that his experience had been that, if you could get rid of the politicians and news media, the people of the world would all get along. It appears you guys reinforced that sentiment. Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
Love this, and so timely too - we are in China for 3 weeks (about half-way through) and travelled from Changsha to Pingxiang by fast train. Totally agree with your observations.

What beautiful moments towards the end of the video in the tea shop 😢 made me tear up with the couple in there, and the gorgeous part of the country you are in. Always wanted to visit China 🇨🇳 😊
I LOVED this video so much!! Just like you said, we are taught in politics and the news (I haven’t watched for over 25 years) to hate the Chinese as they are rude and they are going to take over our country! I knew it was bull shit! And I’m so glad you showed, first hand that it’s not! Thank you for this awesome video! The people are just as sweet as you two are! ❤👌🙏
I’ve seen other videos of China and it’s amazing how much cleaner it is than cities in the USA. I’ve always wanted to go there and travel around to see the country and meet the people. I can’t speak a lick of Mandarin but it still seems like an amazing place to visit. Even the older train y’all said you were on looks new on the video. There’s no graffiti or worn out looking stuff. And the architecture at the stations is incredible. Thanks for posting this travel video, looking forward for y’all new boat and adventures to come!
Yes, if you want to travel to China, I mean, if you want to have a wonderful memory trip beyond all your imagination, you can't understand Chinese at all. There are the most advanced artificial intelligence translations here, but the best translation is the warm and friendly body language of the people, as good as infectious expressions and dances.
Nikki and Jason thanks for this awesome video. You both show a China that I think a large portion of people me included didn't know exist. You were right in saying the thing that separates us isn't the people it's the politics, Governments, policies. That train ride was something wow. That rock formation was incredible. The history of tea was and is interesting. I'll drink my Red Rose in a different outlook. Safe travels looking forward to next video adventure.
Wow, what an incredible journey through China! It's amazing to see the genuine connection and kindness between people from different cultures. On our return home to arizona, I found it very difficult to put into words how to explain what china is like to others. Entirely different world indeed
Very different from western culture. Just saying very nice doesn't do china justice. China has one of the longest histories of human existence. Andi has an amazing unique culture. The people are proud of their heritage and very friendly.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. What a wonderful way the locals treat foreigners that appear so much different than themselves. My hope is that after watching this that is shows that we are all trying to live our best lives and instead of trying to find the difference, let’s try to love and care for all our lives and the planet we share. Cheers
Traveling by train throughout China is the most seamless way to travel in the world and it's not even close. Show up 20 minutes before train departs and you're good. My buddy and I usually each book one 1st class and one 2nd class because more likely than not, there's nobody else (maybe a few people) going to be in the 1st class carriage so we can both chill in 1st and split the difference.
This was remarkable. I lived in Asia in the late 60s / early 70s and know how lovely the people are. Thank you so much for taking us on this unique journey. I will never get to see this part of China and likely not see China at all. Beautifully done. Such a treat.
I was there with my family(chinese wife and 3 young kids) for 6 weeks(10 inner flights, 1 train and one cruise) and experienced so many adventures. I can totally feel what you experienced. I hope you took the time to see the traditional Lishui Jinsha Grand Performance show.
Groovy...A truly amazing episode. So eye opening. The forest was mystical; dream like. And the whole tea service was beautiful. A new look for China to us Americans.
This was a deeply moving blog in a very different place than I never considered traveling to. You guys made it look wonderful and the people so welcoming and interested in meeting you. Now I want to go there! Taking trains during the day seems like way to do it. I wonder how different your experience would be if you were traveling on a guided tour. I think what I like is the fact that this video and your explorations were so natural and unscripted. Plus you both were absolutely glowing and having a great time! Thank you!
What a wonderful presentation for this video. I have watched since you moved from the RV life to the catamaran and I am most impressed with the travel in China. I wanted to go to Tibet when I was in my early 20's. I am now 75 so that is not likely now but your video was a wonderful window! Loved it!
I spent a week in Beijing in 2011. My favorite thing was reading the English mistranslations of the Chinese signs. Also, the Beijing Hilton was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. For $129/night it was awesome. Total luxury, amazing view, breakfast included.

Flying is transportation. Train is transportation AND an experience. 2 for 1. I wrote that at the beginning of the train trip. I had to come back to say a huge thank you for sharing this experience. It has been on my mind that Asia should be my next trip. Now, thanks to this video, I will be relentless till I get there. So far, your trip is amazing and we are only a couple days in!

I'm pretty sure you're being sarcastic. During that period, it was crowded with people and traffic congestion. Even we Chinese do not recommend traveling during that time.

Amazing!
The latest data shows an increase of 2,776 kilometers in 2023, with a total length of 45,000 kilometers.
Are you clones?

we actually got taught about Yanni’s Nightingale in our music class. As a Chinese and a Beijing local, that’s the first moment I felt that music really has no border.
He was in China to produce the music for the documentary Hexi Corridor? That music is beautiful
As a second generation Chinese American, I can say that Chinese people are very proud of their culture and heritage. They get so excited when foreigners try to speak their language, even if it’s a simple hello or thank you. I am glad you guys are enjoying your time in China.

Loved that moment too! My experience of China and the wonderful people was just the same and you must visit!
I think he was the party representative to check in on the guest. He was very happy with what he saw and heard. Jason got the approval.

Welcome to China my bro.
Every weird regulation that seems unreasonable comes from tragical accidents.

My daughter went to Beijing 13 years ago to teach English. She was 21 at the time. 1 year later I went to visit her for 3 weeks. She could only get 1 week off work, so we decided to travel to Xian (terracotta warriors etc).
The process of shou pu'erh was an attempt by tea makers to shortcut that aging process by initially fermenting the tea leaves more strongly.
the price of this tea shocked me
I've personally bought aged cakes that were over $USD 100 and that's not even close to "expensive" for this particular type of tea.
Tea originates from SW China, this has been verified by genetic analysis of tea.
Tea is very popular in China! But there are differences. In the north, the wine culture is more prominent, while in the south, the tea culture is more prominent! In provinces such as Fujian, China, people usually boil a pot of tea after a meal and slowly savor the aroma of the tea and the tranquility of life.
This is an amazing journey. I had no idea that China was so amazing. I will definitely have to go there someday. Thank you for this.

有手机交流就不是什么困难的事情😂
china changed a lot in the past few decades tbh. Even coming back to my city after 10 years, it's wayy cleaner and more modern than it was in 2013 lol
There are lots of Chinese people speak English... especially young Chinese, if you need help, most of them will be very much happy to do.
You both are world ambassadors. What a wonderful trip. Thank you.
Your video truly shattered myths and showcased the beauty of human connections. The way you document your travels is top-notch, creating such captivating content that feels like a professional travel show. Can't wait for the next part and the Silk Road episode! Keep up the great work, guys! 😊🌍✨
I CRIED! This was the best episode!!!! I am going to watch it all over! I had no idea!!!!
welcome to China
What an awesome journey ! Sitting here in my living room in Windsor Ontario Canada on a very Grey day in January sure brightened my day ! Felt like I was on the journey with you guys ! Best to you both in 2024
So so glad you guys are doing/did this journey and capturing your trip via vlog. You guys are awesome.
My wife and i just spent a month in the hunan province in China. On our return home to arizona, I found it very difficult to put into words how to explain what china is like to others. Entirely different world indeed
try start with very good!! very nice..!!
Very different from western culture. Just saying very nice doesn't do china justice. China has one of the longest histories of human existence. Andi has an amazing unique culture. The people are proud of their heritage and very friendly.
No matter how you may choose to travel, you two will always be a first class couple in my book!
My buddy and I usually each book one 1st class and one 2nd class because more likely than not, there's nobody else (maybe a few people) going to be in the 1st class carriage so we can both chill in 1st and split the difference.
thank you. this is genius. i'll try this next time
damn my man got 200 IQ
As a local, I learnt something here.
Usually that works. But sometimes the staffs may ask you to show your ticket if they figure out you don't belong to the 1st class.
Well, there do seem a lot of ppl in the even first class coaches😂It can also vary from time to time
This was remarkable.

Total luxury, amazing view, breakfast included.
i'm 70 guys and have travelled quite a bit 😊- you have both mastered the true essence of being citizens of the world - you capture those magic moments and long may your journeys continue, stay safe stay well xx
Nikki and Jason the tea ceremony was wonderful. I am so glad you shared this adventure with us. I can’t wait for you to get back on the water. I hope it’s soon. Lots of love from Texas.
Nothing like trying to travel during a Chinese National Holiday. I absolutely loved my visit to that section of China. Nothing else compares.
I'm pretty sure you're being sarcastic. During that period, it was crowded with people and traffic congestion. Even we Chinese do not recommend traveling during that time.
Oh wow! What an amazing experience! I love how you have shown the world in a much different way than we have been lead to believe in the educational and media systems in the USA. Thank you for expanding your understanding to the world again! Safe travels and fair winds!
Thank you for being amazing ambassadors of the United States of America. I miss traveling in China for all the reasons you mentioned, the people are amazingly friendly. As Nikki indicated, if you strip it all away, we are just people, trying to live, love and enjoy life. Thank you for your amazing videos (I am sure your Grand Canyon video would do it justice), your stories and your compassion for all the people you meet. I can't wait to see you on the new boat, it will be very enlightening to those of us watching as you ability to tell and share a story are incredible.
What a nice video! As an overseas Chinese myself, I have to say I learned a lot about my coubtry through your video. Thank you for showing your experience in China to the world. I realized I had a big smile on my face watching your video all the time. Thanks again.🥰
I appreciate how well ordered Chinese society is and clean. I am impressed that there is virtually no theft. Here in the States I have to go armed just to go to a restaurant for dinner.
comparing a highly cultured & civilized society with a vulgar decadent society.
I’ve never been to a restaurant in the US and had the sense that my safety would have been improved by my carrying a gun. Maybe it’s time to change your restaurant selection criteria!
犯罪的成本在中国太高了
Yesterday in Hangzhou, a guy robbed a jewelry shop and was caught by the police in 9 minutes, and it became a hot topic news in China because this kind of crime is so rare there.
@@yudonghui I am a 30-year-old Chinese. This is the first time I have seen someone robbing a gold store in the news. I have only seen it in Hong Kong movies before, but this is the first time I have seen it in real life~
I can't say it enough. It brings back memories of my (short) trip to China. It was beautiful and NOT what I expected. People were friendly and helpful. Treasure that one Wynns it will visit your thoughts many times to come.
All I can say is thank you for taking us along on this trip. It is amazing how a simple beverage can lead to such an amazing experience and interaction. As far as your statement about doing the places justice, I like to lol at it this way, I may not be able to get there to experience it for myself, but I did get to see it and know that it exists thanks to you. I will say this, I think you did a great job with the Stone Forest.
Bravo Wynns! You most certainly captured the majesty and intrigue of the Stone Forest and I'm certain you did it justice! I have never been there, yet I felt like I was right there with you. Thank you for sharing this incredible adventure.
What a special joy to be so welcomed and to have that culture openly shared with you! Especially loved seeing the tea ceremony bits. ❤
WOW! One of your best episodes. Yes I think you did capture this magical place. Thanks for taking us along, I don’t think I would have experienced it otherwise.

Wow, I loved how you two learned how to make that tea, and serve each other according to Chinese Culture! I think you both made new friends! Good Job!
Happy new year Nikki and Jason! I was lucky enough to travel in China in 2012. I loved the country and the people. This is one part that I never went to and now I need to go back for a visit. When I travelled home, my bag was filled with so many different flavours of tea. The tea house was one of my favourite places to visit.
Thank you for sharing your travels in China. We would never have been able to see or experience it the way you guys did. Wonderful!
