They still make Mac Baren Virginia No 1. You can get it in the US. They also make a new flake called Pure Virginia that has a stoved component. Cheers.
I don't know if you've tried it yet but i obtained some of the Orlik Vintage Aged Golden Sliced last month. It's definitely one of the best of that tobacco cohort in my opinion. I thought Fribourg & Treyer's Special Brown Flake would be just as good but i definitely prefer the Orlik.
@@JohnRichardHewittFineArt Yes, that's what piqued my interest also. I believe there's a small amount of perique involved also, i could be wrong, but perhaps that's what does it for me. I'll definitely get some more tins; i prefer my dark-fired tobaccos but i like to vary the experience with Virginia-forward offerings every other day.
