- There is a thread on Reddit called “What Is This Thing?” which exists “for the identification of mysterious objects.” People post photos of an unidentified thing and ask the hive mind of the internet to help them figure out what it is. Jimmy likes this sort of thing, so we took some of the objects from Reddit and asked folks on Hollywood Boulevard to help us identify them.

I’m pretty sure I sat next to Mike on a greyhound bus from Seattle to Fresno about 15 years ago. I didn’t say a word to him that whole trip but the guy next to me talked at me the entire 23 hours. Even after everyone turned their lights out and I closed my eyes. I haven’t taken a bus since.

You need to be authoritive and blunt with people like that. I can understand some people are too polite to say anything but not if the guys talking while you are trying to sleep at night.
I had a guy on a plane one time, Denver to Philly, it was too long ago or I'd think it might have been George Santos. This dude's life story was he was former navy seal turned cia agent now professional card counter and real estate magnate. After initial pleasantries, I barely said a word and this guy yapped at me for 4 straight hours. He was still yapping as I was walking down the jetway with my back to him, lol.
@Random Name I know did myself, either the attitude I have with me when I approach a situation could make all the difference in if my ability to field the person off without inviting anymore to get dumped on me, plus the right amount of straight forward attitude/willingness to let the person get theirs point made so they don't feel dismissed, or like their experiences/ ideas aren't worthwhile, coz you never know when one thing they took going across the world to get to his you with a message only you could glean from that interaction. Or you just want to be left alone but be polite and kind about it.
