- Jimmy was recently alerted to a fascinating thread on Reddit called “What Is This Thing?” which exists “for the identification of mysterious objects.” People post photos of an unidentified thing and ask the hive mind of the internet to help them figure out what it is. Jimmy likes this sort of thing, so we took some of the objects from Reddit and asked folks on Hollywood Boulevard to help us identify them.

It's weird because I don't even bees, but it looked vaguely similar to the containers I've seen bees shipped in at UPS, so I thought it was at least bee related.

2:30 I actually know, and I'm not even a bee keeper. It's a cage for a queen bee. Bee keepers use it to ship live queens and to protect her when introducing a new queen to a hive.
You can also use it as a beauty aid, because as we all know, beauty is in the eye of the bee holder.

The studio-side of this bit was scripted, so I doubt he was unaware of the implicit joke. Jimmy's joke was (aside from being written by his writers-staff) a reference to 'Grandpa' not being able to find 'it', aka the 'you know what'-spot - so Grandma had to use a vibrator to get off. Not grandma hiding the vibrator so grandpa didn't find it.. >.>
No he got it...grandpa couldn't find the 'C" for grandma's pleasure.

My dad inherited the tools of several granddads. He had more fun trying to figure out what they were used for. The farm tools were the most puzzling.
There's a feature length movie all about the invention of that last item call "Hysteria" (2011). It is hysterically funny. Recommend it highly to all.

100% agree. Kimmel is the best on late night, followed by Seth Meyers. Fallon is annoying as hell, and Colbert tries so hard to be funny, that he is outright arrogantly irritating. I watch them all on YT every morning and save Kimmel and Seth for the last.
