Billy G had a girlfriend who lived in Memphis. They often came into the restaurant I worked in. Billy liked to call in orders for grilled vegetables to go. The chef always had me grill his vegetables. I sorta felt like Billy's personal chef.
Billy is such a down-to-earth, cool guy.
He drove an old 60s convertible LeSabre. It wasn't restored or custom, so it did not stand out. He blended into the Memphis scene and few people ever knew he was here.
I had an the same experience with Francis from 'up the street'. 50 years ago, he needed a new garden mower, and I ordered a 1500 pound item.

It's really cool to live in a world where we have Hall and Gibbons hangout and rock. Two totally different legendary dudes and styles going for it. I'm thankful for this.

I tried making that Guac Billy's way, and found that by adding 3 kilos of finely chopped haberneros, and a half gallon more of hot sauce brings it up to first-rate quality.
That is a sharp dressed guitar billy has on that one.
