Funny that this deck got put in hell queue. Even funnier that it destroyed hell queue.
I think any deck that can cheat 7+ cmc creatures into play as early as turn 3 or 4, who then gain haste and can also Tutor for whatever you want probably belongs in hell queue.
I find this commander so cool!
Dennis the Street Wise give extra trigger for Kalia, and make it unblockable by bigger creature

20:18 You could also Rip Apart Kinnan and use Skrelv to grant Kaalia Protection against Green and have the Enchantment fall off, right?
Edit: Aaaand, it gets answered 10 seconds later. Silly me.
Skrelv doesn't actually grant full Protection, just one half of it (unblockability + Hexproof from the chosen colour), so the enchantment would not fall off. Giver of Runes does, though, and she could have achieved that a turn later.

I crafted this deck and in the end I had to cancel it. It's fun, but a 2/2 commander who can be killed by EVERYTHING is too weak in the Brawl environment. She needed at least ward!
I’m having the biggest skill issue of my LIFE plying this deck. I think I’ve gone 1-15 and it’s demoralising at its absolute best for me
Make sure to mulligan hands that don't have a clear plan, some games in Brawl can be unforgiving for slower starts.
The deck certainly has some bad matchups, but if things don't work out it's pretty fast to move onto the next game.

When LVD enters Hell Queue, it becomes L queue (with a lot of vaalue)

Hey Legend, love all your content although Brawl is by far my favourite. I was wondering, do you have an overview of every category you tend to split decks up into? Would be neat to see. (I mean as a whole, for every kind of deck, and not the category overview you already include, in case it reads confusingly)
I do them on a deck-by-deck basis so don’t really have a general overview.

Hey guys! I’m a new player and looking for a budget Kaalia deck to use in person. But there’s so many on edhrec that idk what one to pick. Can someone help me out and link a good one to buy and start with please:) would really appreciate it! Really want to get into magic
There's no real need to exactly copy a decklist, start from one you like that's close to your budget and you can make some changes based on personal preference! This way you'll be a lot more familiar with your own deck by the time you get to play it. Also note Griselbrand is banned in commander, while being legal in Brawl, so the two formats have different banned lists. Arena also has a much smaller available card pool compared to paper, so you'll have way more options. If you need more in-depth help I do offer personalized decklist feedback as one of the rewards on Patreon for higher tiers.

So I’m kinda struggling with how to get a build to start with if that makes sense? Like, I know Kaalia looks really fun! I just don’t know my playstyle or the game yet and I want a deck to be able to play with my friend irl. I was going to use arena to test it but that’s more expensive than even buying a deck in person😬 I’m just looking for a really baseline budget starter deck to start with really☺️ I thought Kaalia would be nice too, since I can run any demon,angel or dragon:)

Can you make an indomitable creativity deck using the new Ulamog? I've been messing around with the idea and would love to see your take on it. The best I've done is a turn 4 17/17 with haste using Akorma's memorial.

Kinnan is your definitive proof
It's quite possible that the array of big angels and demons in the deck contributes to the deck weight enough that even if Kaalia herself isn't a top weighted commander the 99 she's paired with put her there anyway.
I found in the worst way with my own Kaalia deck that Vilis is a terrible terrible addition in a meta where Sheoldred, the Apocalypse is so common.
You will trigger infinite card draw and damage if she is on the battlefield. Hope for drawing a removal in time!

Love your channel, but every time I come back to MTG Arena, I'm just annoyed. Their rigged matchmaking and still not fixed stalling is ridiculous. Hard to say anything nice about that company, scum of the Earth really :D.
