I love how the MCU realized the nanotech suit introduced in IW looked all CGI and made an effort on Endgame to combine the clank of the metal with the nanotech. BTW props on including Tonys snap at the end. Still brings tears to any Ironman fan
I do love how the suits advanced in reaction to a weakness in each previous movie rather than “he advances the suit and suddenly an exact situation for that advancement working appears” which I feel a lot of people would have done. The first movie was still the best looking suit, I totally get why in a universe with literal magic they let it get so past the point of belief with the suits but the first movie really felt like something that was possible to make not that far into the future (I know it’s not set in the future I mean in a few decades we’ll have some form of exoskeleton suit that enables some of these features e.g. movement/strength enhancement/weapon mounting etc)
Ive seen someone make a mk 42 suit. It doesnt split apart and fly to you or shoot lasers or allows you to fly but it does open up and u can wear it and it looks super cool
One of my favourite advancements to his suits is seen in spider man homecoming. Previously in civil war, stark binds caps legs using a metal restraint that cap breaks in seconds with his shields. In homecoming, he deploys a similar gadget to help hold the ship together but its more of a cable instead because he knows it would be harder for cap to break. I love this one because it's so subtle and because I love the design of the mark 47 and it proves that stark learns from his mistakes
His final suit in Iron Man 1 is definitely the best, you can actually get a look at it without him taking the mask off every 5 minutes and actually feels like a suit and not just CGI
I prefer the other ones where hes taking his helmet and mask off cuz the suit collapsing the way it does and so seamlessly is satisfying asf to watch and Iron Man one suits lacked practicality anyways
jon favreau (director of ironman 1) said he wanted the cgi of the suit setup to be so realistic you can't tell what's real and what isn't. to this day i still can't tell.
The nanosuits are cool but to me the best balance of "realistic" practical suits were the ones in IM3 where tony could have his full suit as a step in/ step out and the breifcase and wristwatch rigs that allow him to carry a suit with him of sorts but it is bare bones minimal.
@BecozBecoz i mean I get it and the idea of the nanosuit is a cool concept, but it just didnt really get any kind of build up or real explanation of how it works and we dont see its main weakness til the end where it starts to thin out Idk the other suits just felt more like continuing advancement of the original Mark 3 whereas the nanosuit felt more like hey the writers need him to do everything
@BecozBecoz still i just felt like the nano suit was just kinda ham fisted in as a "tony can do anything" plot point now. An example is the breifcase suit. You just get like little tid bits of it abt 20 min prior to its suit up but even when its done its left its impact as one of the cooler suits IMO. Just was like no flight no extra weapons just a bare bones exo suit with repulsers and armor. I guess the biggest thing with the nano suits for me is well if he can make several of these that can just create stuff out of nowhere with no real limitation or drawback why doesnt he make one for every non powered avenger? Same problem for iron man 3 in that if you can mass produce these it solves alot of problems honestly.
I love the suit in infinity war so much. I love that we see it in action immediately so we see how formidable Tony has become since civil war and I love that it’s got all the right tools but thanos just breaks it down over the course of the fight.
An interesting comparison I noticed In the first avengers movie we see one of Tony’s earlier suit ups as a he falls from the tower, and it takes him almost the entire fall to suit up, which even ignoring the time it takes the suit to reach him still seemed like more than half the height of stark tower Then, in endgame when he jumps from the tower in his nano suit, in mum the same way, it takes literal seconds to suit up and get flying again, he barely even falls That’s some progress right there *Because tony stark learns from his mistakes*
I love how the suit's movements go much more faster and smoother the more he develops it. And the one before nano tech arrives, didn't even have much frames how the helmet was formed. Nice touch to detail.
Honestly, the first Iron man films were the best suit ups because you can see all the invidual suit parts being put together. The later suits mostly involved parts materialising out of thin air.
I mean, over time, the technology improved (which is really helpful in a serious situation). But I agree, seeing the inner workings of the suits really added layer to it
Honestly the best part of all this is how well it shows not only how his armor evolves with each new generation but also the sheer versatility he has to work with
What I love is that the suit, no matter how quick it is to deploy or how many features it has, always requires a heart, whether it's surgically attached or not.
Cheered, followed in the next 20 seconss by absolute silence as everyone came to the realisation of what it meant. I have NEVER heard a theater erupt that exhuberantly, followed immediately by such complete silence.
The only problem with the nano tech I have is that they would have the same mass and weight of a fully "grown" suit. Therefore, Tony would be carrying the weight of the suit around with him wherever he goes, which isn't very practical. In the comics with Extremis, he housed them inside his body, which takes care of the mass problem, but you still have all that extra weight to carry around constantly.
Honestly I think both the early and later suits were cooler in different ways. The new suits are cool in a "wow this stuff is so advanced" sorta way, whereas the older suits are summed up best by cinema wins for me, in that the concept is of course completely unrealistic, At least with today's tech, but the execution is totally believable, like assuming the tech exists, that seems like a pretty reasonable way for it to work.
Maybe power-armor tech itself, which is what iron man armor is essentially. We do have some primitive, bulky, weak (to my knowledge barely can lift 100 kilos on its own) as hell exoskeletons though. Although power-armor is simply put a armored exoskeleton.
I feel like watching the history of booting windows, with iron man 3 suits being different iterations of windows 2000 and ME... And endgame being the lates windows running on an SSD
One thing that always amazes me (people may already know, but I'm always remembering) is that during his evolution, less and less he needed J.A.R.V.I.S or FRIDAY to control his armor, being able to use it completely independently in space and even in time travel, which maybe he wouldn't do in previous versions where some things J.A.R.V.I.S still did for him.
I think part of it as well was once he got to age of ultron, Jarvis became an incredibly advanced AI (as he mentions, runs more of stark industries besides pepper) so although he wasn't speaking to Jarvis all the time, Jarvis was always in the background assisting I think the best example is in Iron man 3 when Tony was at his lowest with panic attacks and when he lost Jarvis, he basically lost the suit. So he found ways around this and accepted that he needed to make "suits around the world" run through AI (ultron)
The reason i respect Tony the most is he did not get his powers from nowhere, no serums, no spiders, nothing. he just born genius, and is a machinist mastermind who literally made everything for himself to become this powerful
@@Mappster yea, Tony was left an entire fortune and a dad with so much knowledge he could look into, could’ve literally did whatever he wanted for the rest of his life and not worried, still a genius though
I think that the Mark 42 was my favorite because it was still in the realm of possible for me. The Mark 50 and 85 while badass was impossible, even with nanotech the material still has to come from somewhere (you can see the nanites absorb his glasses and possibly clothes for material (in Infinity war), but you can't claim that Stark was carrying between 200-400 kg of suite in his arc-reactor or on his person.
There's something that always bothered me. Does Tony really can fully control his nano-things? If he can, then why he didn't try to command that things to go through Thanos hole and destroy his organs..
@@douma2129 Even some things are too convenient for Marvel. But if you look at the rest of Endgame this is minor, they created so many plot holes that it is as far as story goes a dumpster fire.

7:54 I luv that they still kept the face plate going down cuz they know the fans love the sound his armor makes when it's assembling before the nano tech suits
My personal favourite is Ironman 3 with the self detaching, flying suit. The suit up scenes were so funny when they would come late. Plus it still kept the original Ironman style unlike the nanotech suit which was pretty flat.
To be honest I am not really a fan of nano tech armours but the suits before infinity war are really epic Especially MK 2. It is always remain my favourite forever
The mark 2 was by far the craziest jump in innovation and design, obviously comparing it to the mark 1. He basically nailed the look top down and it didn't need to change despite 85 versions afterwards. Obviously suit designs adapted to the need (most apparent in Iron man 3, stealth suit, construction suits etc), but in general, the concept was near perfect with a clear goal that he wanted to make the suit as portable, adaptable, and light as possible It's pretty damn near perfect
3:49 is probably one of the most satisfying clips in movie history for me and I really really don't know why. Just something about it tickles my brain the right way
I still want to see all those other suit from the 3rd movie that he exploded. Would've been cool to see those in avengers, all in sentry mode surrounding him.
It's nice to see someone mention this. I've always absolutely loved that shot. The timing, the movement, the buildup of beams. . Whoever designed it deserves some major credit.
I love these suit up scenes they’re just everything I’ve dreamed of when I went to engineering school. The scene from the avengers and iron man 2 with the suit up from the briefcase are probably my favorites but they’re all good!
One thing that I've always lived aviyt his suit over the years is that when he gets bested by not having a certain function he always learns fir..it and upgrades
I’ve always thought the best looking suit was the final suit from Age of Ultron. It’s not shown in this video, but it is a superb design. Pity we didn’t get to see more of it…
I like how the scenes went from "cool 30 second CGI sequence with all of the parts being assembled on Tony" to "suit magically appears out of nowhere instantaneously."
ive always wondered what would happen if tony moved when one of the earlier automated suit ups (not the nano ones) were happening. would parts of the suit still assemble itself properly and adjust according to tony's posture, or would it injure him instead?
As the series progresses, Tony can get in and out of his armor quicker and quicker. That's because as an inventor, he's continually improving on his designs
everytime I seen IronMan suit up animation, I am thinking of the Power Rangers and how the villains are waiting for them to finish morphing. Yes nano suit is on different level but still
The suits for me represent the movies at large: they went from largely "practical" and soulful and carefully implemented to just this automatic, soulless CGI soup where nothing is ever really difficult.
In a sense I feel like Tony had to die because if he lived he would’ve been too powerful, say he lives for 20 more years these are some features I think he would have: • An extremely strong suit which not even Thanos can destroy and some sort of auto generating nano tech farm so he never runs out of armour • The whole time travel unit would be in his suit, no need for huge contraption • Blink deploy time • Potentially ant mans capabilities with dr pyms syrum in it • His suit can take any form, hulk buster etc • His blasters would be so powerful they can a blow a clean hole through a planet • Even if he wasn’t worthy he could still pick up Thor’s hammer just because of the sheer strength he has • And don’t get me started on how powerful he would be if he harnessed all infinite stones
not really nanotech is real and can work in somewhat the same way. like maybe a few years nto the future we might have stuff which can expand using nanotech easily
I forget which movie but when Iron Man was fighting Hulk The Iron Man got upgraded into a bigger suit that can even do onsite repairs HAHAHAHAHAHA Probably in 1000 years before we could get that kind of technology
Unless we can crack some real life cold fusion reactor that can give off enough energy to light Vegas whislt not giving cancer to everyone within a 50 feet radios I'd say never

They look cooler because they are real, people can go inside them. The nano suit is all CGI.
I think part of it as well was once he got to age of ultron, Jarvis became an incredibly advanced AI (as he mentions, runs more of stark industries besides pepper) so although he wasn't speaking to Jarvis all the time, Jarvis was always in the background assisting
I think the best example is in Iron man 3 when Tony was at his lowest with panic attacks and when he lost Jarvis, he basically lost the suit. So he found ways around this and accepted that he needed to make "suits around the world" run through AI (ultron)
coolest hero of all Marvel movies no doubt. I love Iron Man the most, even more than Spider man or Cap or Thor or whatever
Agreed
They just did it perfectly
The reason i respect Tony the most is he did not get his powers from nowhere, no serums, no spiders, nothing. he just born genius, and is a machinist mastermind who literally made everything for himself to become this powerful
@@Mappster But he was a billionaire, so he was blessed from beginning for all the costly technologies...😅
42 was the one with the gold chestplate from Iron Man 3, right?
@@themonkeyman2910 Yes, It was the suit that flew to him in pieces.
@@01srob Its movie science. And do we have to pretend its exactly like real life and they cant have stuff that wouldnt work in real life? I get how some things feel like it should be different but still
He was really that dude on marvel. Swag intelligence. He finished off thanos correctly “I Am IronMan!” #Tough 💥

I luv that they still kept the face plate going down cuz they know the fans love the sound his armor makes when it's assembling before the nano tech suits
Can we all just stop for a moment to appreciate genius level of acting of Robert Downey Jr.
My personal favourite is Ironman 3 with the self detaching, flying suit. The suit up scenes were so funny when they would come late. Plus it still kept the original Ironman style unlike the nanotech suit which was pretty flat.
Everyone: the newer suits are more fake then the old ones
Me: Iron man is Iron man
Disney Iron Man is not Marvel Iron Man
@@arkansky Which Marvel Iron man, there’s several.
To be honest I am not really a fan of nano tech armours but the suits before infinity war are really epic
Especially MK 2. It is always remain my favourite forever
The mark 2 was by far the craziest jump in innovation and design, obviously comparing it to the mark 1. He basically nailed the look top down and it didn't need to change despite 85 versions afterwards.
Obviously suit designs adapted to the need (most apparent in Iron man 3, stealth suit, construction suits etc), but in general, the concept was near perfect with a clear goal that he wanted to make the suit as portable, adaptable, and light as possible
It's pretty damn near perfect
I always love the way the helmet sounds when it opens and closes and how smooth it is
Over 12 years ago he stole all of our hearts, rest in peace tony
The first red suit up in the red suit is one of the most exciting scene in the whole MCU.
That ending was perfect!
I remember watch the mark 80 scene for the first time in theaters and a I was in awe at who badass it was.
3:49 is probably one of the most satisfying clips in movie history for me and I really really don't know why. Just something about it tickles my brain the right way
Thais so true
Thank you 3000 for keeping the iconic line at the end in the edit ♥️
My top two suit up fav’s will always be the briefcase, and the helicopter button.
can't imagine what tony would've added to his suit if he survived endgame,
Probably would've contacted Thor to arrange some strong magical elements like uru that he could place in the suit to handle cosmic energy
his suit would have 5G
@@Aditya-gx1xv I mean maybe he can have the metal in his armor but not sure he could activate its mystical qualities unless he’s worthy
A suit made of vibranium with the ability to easily wield and utilize the infinity stones without hurting the user.
We'll find out with the Ironheart series, hype af
Imagine having just having the suit bolted on to you, you fly off, and then it strikes.......ball itch.
“Hey Jarvis.. can you flex the armor around my balls”
“Certainly sir”
I still want to see all those other suit from the 3rd movie that he exploded.
Would've been cool to see those in avengers, all in sentry mode surrounding him.
The first suit up scene is definitely the most fun to watch. I love how Jarvis tries to get him to settle down. Great stuff!
to this day, the suit case suit up is still my favorite
That is the one I would truly love to have. THAT suit-up is THE best ever!
Mark 3 actually felt like an Iron Man. still the best.
0:32
Still the coolest Iron Man scene to this day
8:12 damn that combo always give me goosebumps
It's nice to see someone mention this. I've always absolutely loved that shot. The timing, the movement, the buildup of beams. . Whoever designed it deserves some major credit.
@@Dreadnott117 who is that?
I love these suit up scenes they’re just everything I’ve dreamed of when I went to engineering school. The scene from the avengers and iron man 2 with the suit up from the briefcase are probably my favorites but they’re all good!
Suit up scene of iron man is the most coolest and satisfying thing in MCU
Imagine thanos fighting tony with this suit😂 0:01
Tony will fly away
Tony'll be toast
Lmao🤣🤣
Imagine Thanos fighting cap with his skinny body before using super serum, imagine Thanos fighting with Thor when he unworthy...
LeͥgeͣnͫdTM ok we get it
Avengers: Tony Stark: "Grow a spine, Jarvis."
Avengers: Age of Ultron: Vision.
I know they weren’t shown but his suit when fighting Ultron on the boat and the final battle for AoU was really nice. (Mark 45 I think)
Let's be real, that first suit up ever shown, literally the best out of them all.
It's just a treat to watch...
One thing that I've always lived aviyt his suit over the years is that when he gets bested by not having a certain function he always learns fir..it and upgrades
I love how they really show the suits evolved over the yrs. The best looking comic to live action character ever. The details are just amazing.
Hell yeahh
I’ve always thought the best looking suit was the final suit from Age of Ultron. It’s not shown in this video, but it is a superb design. Pity we didn’t get to see more of it…
Same bro same
The first suit up with the required colors, masterpiece. So beefy.
Alternative title: Tony learning from his mistakes
I like how the scenes went from "cool 30 second CGI sequence with all of the parts being assembled on Tony" to "suit magically appears out of nowhere instantaneously."
My favourite one has always been the iron man 3 one, with all parts being independant.
6:15 One of My favourite Suit Up scene 😘😘
I watch this whenever i get bored😀
I see every satisfying videos but this one was totally sarisfying
천재, 플레이보이, 억만장자임에도 끊임없이 연구하고 실패하면서 배우는 모습이 나이는 중년이지만 소년 성장 만화 보는 느낌이어서 낭만있고 너무 좋았음
All this shows how genius Tony stark was
satisfactory, emotion, a small part of our life, dejected of tonys death, all past moments of iron man= its an emotion and a needed part of life💯💯
Never gets old, guys, never gets old 🧓
I appreciate you for putting the whole scene of him snapping his finger.
Did someone say let's make a 9 minute video of the ultimate scenes in Marvel? This guy nailed it!!!
6:28 best suit up ever
ive always wondered what would happen if tony moved when one of the earlier automated suit ups (not the nano ones) were happening. would parts of the suit still assemble itself properly and adjust according to tony's posture, or would it injure him instead?
Good question
I could do anything to Bring back Iron Man 😔
As the series progresses, Tony can get in and out of his armor quicker and quicker. That's because as an inventor, he's continually improving on his designs
Melhor heroi do cinema....Iron Man
Mk.5 - Suitcase Armor
Mk.42 - Heartbreaker
Mk.44 - Hulk Buster
Mk.50 - Bleeding Edge
Mk.85 - Infinity Buster
Where is Mark-1? That was his actual first suit and it was made when he was kidnapped. That suit was OP.
Mission passed
Respect earned +99
everytime I seen IronMan suit up animation, I am thinking of the Power Rangers and how the villains are waiting for them to finish morphing. Yes nano suit is on different level but still

Nanotech has solely ruined every effort that every animator of the previous movies has ever made to create an illusion of realism. Lame
I think the mark 5 is the best way to get the suit around its like you bring a normal suitcase then deploy
this makes me appreciate it even more
Are we going to ignore the fact that he did not add the Mark I?

In a sense I feel like Tony had to die because if he lived he would’ve been too powerful, say he lives for 20 more years these are some features I think he would have:
• An extremely strong suit which not even Thanos can destroy and some sort of auto generating nano tech farm so he never runs out of armour
• The whole time travel unit would be in his suit, no need for huge contraption
• Blink deploy time
• Potentially ant mans capabilities with dr pyms syrum in it
• His suit can take any form, hulk buster etc
• His blasters would be so powerful they can a blow a clean hole through a planet
• Even if he wasn’t worthy he could still pick up Thor’s hammer just because of the sheer strength he has
• And don’t get me started on how powerful he would be if he harnessed all infinite stones
The suit up maybe have gotten cooler but how the suits looked and acted became more fake
not really nanotech is real and can work in somewhat the same way. like maybe a few years nto the future we might have stuff which can expand using nanotech easily
@@raajas837 yeah but it's just as the movie is wwnt on you could definitely tell that the suit were cgi having a plasticky look

Such intricate details and planning by the Marvel team. !
When do you guys think we will finally have a working Iron Man suit like in the movies?!! In 30 years??!!🤔🤣🤭
Eh probably closer to 80
They could literally exist now if the US government wanted it. Only issue is the power source. Nuclear energy is a non-starter.
I forget which movie but when Iron Man was fighting Hulk
The Iron Man got upgraded into a bigger suit that can even do onsite repairs
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Probably in 1000 years before we could get that kind of technology
Unless we can crack some real life cold fusion reactor that can give off enough energy to light Vegas whislt not giving cancer to everyone within a 50 feet radios
I'd say never
Tony literally broke the basic law of thermodynamics. 😀
