I really hope you get the chance to check out 'DANGER - MO BLUE MIX' (featuring ThanH). It's a stripped down piano version with an MV. I love Danger but the remix is 1 notch higher for me.
Tae's long hair was a wig, so he could do the "angsty self hair cut" scene. But he messed up and ended up cutting a bit of his real hair underneath it without realizing 😂
Old Skool.BTS has a special place in my heart💜They were young brave raw gritty and soo soo talented from the jump. Hip Hop, Rap and R&B are their roots. My favorite albums/cds are 'O RU L8 2' and 'Dark and Wild' They live in my CD player in my car and get the most play. ARMY never tires of OG(😅)BTS. In fact the old albums are charting again now that they are in the military. So treat yourself snd your Patreon subs to an album review/listening party of 'Dark and Wild and 'O RU L8 2'. 💯 you will not be disappointed. 💯heavy Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B.
Also if anybody hasn't seen it they did another version of Danger. It's called (Mo-Blue-Mix) feat. THANH. Its a slower version. Thanh is a top Vietnamese singer. It's really good.
Jungkook can play the piano. He didn't like to practice, so he never really got better. 😅 He also plays the guitar and drums. As for rapping, we all want him to rap again, he is well aware. I think when he first joined at 13, he wanted to be like G-Dragon, and he thought RM was the coolest thing ever. But as he got older, I think his interests changed. He must have realized how good his voice was and chose to be the best singer ever. He has talked about it before. I get it, I have tried many things and if I wasn't good at it or if it didn't inspire me, I didn't keep at it. Lol Any of us ADHD people get it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love baby BTS, they have a hunger and roughness about them. And the dancing is was always just stellar. 😘💜🫰🏻🫶🏻
well i have heard from some OG ARMYs that they removed JK from rapping bcoz he wouldnt be able to rest during the concert.. like when rap line was performing, vocal line would take rest in concert nd vice versa bt since JK would be doing both, it might take a toll on him!! dont take my word for it bt thats what i heard
@@AmariLeone so the school trilogy- from debut mini album to o!rul82? to skool luv affair - was unstable but skool luv affair as a bigger one did well, but this is all baby bts, very niche still; they put their all into dark&wild and hoped for its success but bangtan themselves consider it a flop 😅 so their big break was the next thing, hyyh pt.1 with I Need You as the lead single - they decided that if that wouldn't work out they'd quit, it was up to a point that the company didn't do well financially either..lo and behold, I Need You was their first big breakthrough and the rest is history 😌
This is entirely my guesswork as to why JK doesn't rap any more. He is the main vocalist and has a lot of timeconsuming responsibilities in the team. He sings all the guides, he sings most of the background choruses which are multi layered and put on the backing track. BTS rappers always write their own lines so I think maybe contributing raps was just more work than JK could cope with. If any member was ill for their concerts JK was also the one to cover their parts, so he still had to rap occasionally. Because he originally sung the guides he knows all the other guy's parts.
Jungkook plays guitar and drums really well, and he does play piano, although he's not as advanced as SUGA. I really enjoy their early work... especially the Dark and Wild era! Thank you for your thoughtful reactions! 💜
Great reaction!! I love it when a reactor recognizes that each of the members have distinct tones and textures. This song is still on the top of my playlist. I love the Bulletproof eyeliner era. BTS acting all tough, how cute is that. 😅
Glad you're getting to react to baby BTS! I only got into BTS in 2020, when they were already successful and had money for their MVs. Back in their early days, their budget was really small. I think some of their production was done out of a garage. Irregardless, their early MVs were 🔥🔥🔥 I think JK doesn't rap now because as the main vocalist, he's just too busy. He sang a lot of the guides and sings a lot of the background vocals for BTS songs. Not to mention writing and dancing. There are some live performances where JK does rap, and it's always a treat.
The singers rarely would write in the beginning so it's not due to writing, in fact I heard that's why he stopped, since rapping means you're writing. Writing a song is not the same as writing rapping which involves wordplay, is more rhythmic and has more rhyming (syllables within words etc)
I love this song!!! I don't know why it didn't do well when it first came out. It's so good. I love singing along with the words in it, too. They're fun to say. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
This song was my introduction to BTS. It will always hold a special spot for me. We all want Rapper JK to come back. I was hoping for it on Golden, but nope. And RM’s soft serve ice cream hair is my favorite RM look.
When I go back and watch this MV, it always hits me hard how young and new they were. Which makes it even more incredible because it's so freaking good. Imagine Jin thinking he wasn't good enough yet?? 😭 This is my kinda vibe too, I liked the way you broke down the production, thanks a lot.
@ 14.50 yesss!! thank you, I'm abt to cry. it's key in Bangtan how different they all sound!! Vocal line, rap line, you can differentiate each one of their voices so easily once you get to know their names and no one ever talks abt it, THANK YOU!!!
Yes! It was first time Jin changed hair to more vibrant color. I think JK simply grow up and find his voice? Like he feld more comfortabke singing snd stick with his. Also at that time, the first two years, team was more focused on hip hop sound so yeah he rapped bc this was around him and he learned everyday from things that he saw and looked up to older members that did make theirs music and all of them then were rappers. So he learned, he was good and had sub rapper position, and got his lines. But also bc he grow up with rappers that really respected culture, I think it has also a part in him rapping less, bc rappers in BTS always said "rappers write their own lyrics, if you don't you simply talking fast", I'm sure they are less stric now, etc, and seevworld a little different, but Suga ralked not long ago about it like half a year, he talked that for him it was something narural, he us rapoer he writes his part, and wyen he got into BigHit, it was tge same , every one had the same mindset, so he was shocked when he saw that almost any idol rapper write lyrics, etc, he said that it was something new for him.... I think JK takes very serious rap that is also why he let it go in a way, bc for him it was another skill but not a passion... Even if he liked it, he liked singing more so he advanced in this direction. BTS still are performing old songs so JK raps then, so we hear him still sometimes. But even tho I'm always pro JK rapper, you hear that he isn't rapper or at least you hear that he dosen't practice rap. He still raps great, the skill is there. Also there are more R&B songs that his singing and it is more rhytmical... Hmm even when you listen to "My time" you hear the backgroud that he come from - hip hop group... And he is still sub rapper, so when some members were sick or absent he step in, and he did rap parts too...
that's also what I love about the vocal line. love some other songs from other groups but it's so hard to distinguish vocalists from each other unless you're a super fan and I don't understand why some companies want the same vocal tone for every single artist. anywaysssss danger is a banger and hobi's verse is my fav
This is one of my favourite baby BTS songs. I still don't get why it didn't performed well when it dropped. I don't think JK knew to play the piano back then. It was just for the video. I wish he would rap more. I remember seeing a video where they talked about recording at a factory , dancing with wet feet over and over... 😭
Hi - Yes, more JK rapping, I fully agree. I love this song, then I found this remix and now I'm not sure which I like better. Please consider checking it out. " bts danger mo blue mix 'Danger (Mo-Blue-Mix) ft. THANH' MV " It's so differrent, but so good. Thanks, hope you gave a great day.
JK did not play the piano, but he excels at everything he tries (golden maknae). I love all of their earlier songs. I joined ARMY in 2015; I'm 45. Other vidoes I recommend: Tomorrow (live performance), War of Hormones, N.O., We are Bulletproof Part 2, Save Me, Run, Butterfly, House of Cards (live performance), Ma City, Attack on Bangtan (rehearsal video), DDAENG (live performance with vocal line). You won't be disappointed!
Jungkook's interests just changed, his goal changed to "having a voice that touches people's hearts", so i think once the group shifted to different sounds he found "his voice". (Not to say that rap can't touch your heart)
I started following BTS in late 2018, but if had the experience of listening to them since the beginning, Danger would be the song where I'd say "Yes, I like them! I very much enjoy this group". But anyway, I had a sense you'd enjoy this one for the edgy vibes 😅
Hago otro comentario porque no me deja editar el otro 😅 15,35 estoy de acuerdo contigo, yo no escucho otros grupos de K- Pop , pero mi hija si y me enseña canciones y me doy cuenta de esto y ya no me llama la atención
From what I know JK try to learn piano but let it go, but I also don't know when it was, I wouldn't be suprised if he dud akredy play but also I wouldn't be suprised if it wasen't him and he did pretended, but generally he did learn but then tried different instruments.
Agreed but I understand why artist play the game. Most aren't in the place to take the "disadvantage" of not making their songs as streamable as others
@ 6.44 'I know you guys love em' ehhh excuse you? are 'you guys' in the room rn? fck pastel these looks were better. and no one asked but fck suits while we're at it
Leave the boys alone. You get what you get. Before their solo works, the members did what BTS needed them to; and they still do that. They are not selfish, but giving.
What are you even talking about? He loves the song and he loves the boys. He also loves hearing JK rap and wishes he still rapped. That's something that I've heard a LOT of people say. There's absolutely nothing wrong with someone wondering why JK doesn't really use one of his skills. Especially when JK himself just said last year that he'd like to rap more.
I think this song has a top 3 beat for the baby BTS era songs (so far), so interesting🦁
I really hope you get the chance to check out 'DANGER - MO BLUE MIX' (featuring ThanH). It's a stripped down piano version with an MV. I love Danger but the remix is 1 notch higher for me.
Oooh that does sound interesting
I always find it interesting that BTS talks about Danger as a song that flopped. I have always really liked it.

Yes! I discovered the one with Thanh not too long ago, and it's soooo good! 💜

That's true, he's grown a lot since this era and his interests would naturally change as a result too

The fact that Danger and the album it was a title track for didnt have major success is still mind-boggling to me tbh! Such a banger😎
Hmm yeah that is interesting. Was it unsuccessful compared to other BTS stuff of this era or were they just not popular yet?
