      Build a boat in your front yard!
      There was a guy in Oklahoma who build a 75ft steel sail boat in his front yard in 9 years …. (He just finished this year) and he had people from all over the world come out and help him…. He found hundreds is not thousands of people coming out to him and building his boat for him.

    Them venttracs are an amazing, all around machine that does a ton of things well. That said, as I get older the less I want to deal with mosquitoes/biting insects, the dirt and debris coving me and honestly, the heat. In south Louisiana those will make ya miserable and I mow acreage, and when I was younger a 72” deck on a Ferris ate it up quick, but I’ll tell ya, kicking that AC on int the John Deere makes it EASY. 10’ batwing, radio jamming (yeah, it’s modified. A lot) and it’s a joy to do. Yeah yeah yeah, costs 3 times what a ventrac does but did I mention it’s got AC? Lol. 95degrees here is much different than 95 in Indiana.

    • @TractorTimewithTim
      @TractorTimewithTim  2 года назад +1

      Wide open throttle is just above 540rpm…570 or so. This is how the tractors are meant to be operated. ….such that a small load, pulling the rpm’s down just a bit still maintains the 540 rpm.
      Spent all my life on tractors. They are meant to be ran wide open throttle.
      This has been changing recently in the big ag side with the computerized transmissions which work together with engine load to maintain desired speed…but for basic tractors, wide open throttle while running PTO implements is the mfr intended operating approach.

      @@dakillaklown715 Well, we do answer that...but there are LOTS of videos, I get it.
      Yes, it has a 3 point hitch. We show it with a landscape rake in one episode. We have also showed it with the Ventrac power bucket on the 3 point hitch.
      No, it does not have a rear PTO.

      I run 61” Maschio fixed flail on the 1025r. You should be able to handle that I would think.

      @@TractorTimewithTim so small saplings or thick weeds !! Is that restricted by the style of hammers or just the limits of a flail mower in general?

      I think just the limits of a flail.
