The lesson before this about plurals in which so many words ended with combinations of vowels was so valuable because of the opportunity (for me) to learn pronunciation. Wish i could put the whole thing on an audio tape, which i would then play over and over especially when falling asleep. Then the sounds would be put into a bank of sounds stored for use in the future, like English-kind of.
Hi! My regular lessons always have a free PDF but not my courses. For my courses, the videos are free to watch but the PDF is for sale. There are around 50 videos per course and I have 5 courses so it was a lot of work and money to keep the videos free. And I also have to pay bills 🙃
Hello, Why is “sommes” (are) pronounced with a distinct final “s” instead of silent? Do we hear that “s” because of the “e” before it? (I’m a beginner, so others probably already understand this) Thank you.
i wanted to ask if fleur is a feminine or masculine noun... because if it is feminine than why does it ends with -eur.... because u told us that ending in eur changes to euse in feminine.... that only makes sense when eurr is masculine .. i know its kinda silly but i am quite confused in masculine and feminine part... if anyone could explain...
does that mean non living things have different specific endings for them to be masculine or feminine .... just like you told me that eur is for people btw Thanks you for replying
Hi Sara :) In the preface at the beginning of the book you have the link to get the download. I can't leave it here otherwise everybody will get them ;)

There is a strong trend in the U.S.A. to politely inquire about gender preferences when we are unsure. There are some who are born as female who identify as male gender or as ‘they’, and others who are born as male who identify as female or ‘nonbinary’. Is this something that is being addressed or trending in France also?
I think it's coming as well but slowly. Usually you can feel a few years difference between the US and Europe. That being said, we have a new pronoun IEL for non binary people. I am afraid that people won't be as open minded tho.
This is a channel where we come to learn french, not lay trends. With all due respect anyone can identify as anything they want, but expecting everyone else to join their perception is just too demanding, and makes brings unnecessary complications to beautiful languages

Yes I have 3 from a few months ago :)

When there is a liaison, the final S will sound like a Z. Otherwise it's silent :)

Dylane! The subject pronouns in French il and ils do they sound the same? yes or no! Thank you!
They do :) It only changes slightly if there is a liaison after :)

There is the pronoun IEL that has been added to the dictionary in 2022 :) It's a mix of IL and ELLE :)
iel doesen t exist for the real french
