    A great lesson, the one thing I'd not come across before is understanding that si has a specific purpose in negations. Whilst I had seen it and understand it as yes I did not know it was connected to negations! I love the little details we end up learning along the way. It's so helpful 🙂

    Superb! What a great finishing lesson to the chapter, I really enjoyed that thank you. Just to let you know, there is a slight error in the book on page 155, in the table on row "de + lequel" and column "Fem. Pl" it states "Auxquelles" instead of "Desquelles" but nothing big. Looking forward to Chapter 3 next 👍🏻

Mais chaque jour je passe au moins une heure avec mes études de français. Merci pour tout ton aide! A la prochaine leçon.😇

    The heading on page 153 , quel is an interrogative pronoun, Then quel is an interrogative adjective. I thought it was a mis print. After going around in many circles, finally I read it can be both. Vrai ?

    • @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
      @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane  2 года назад

      No it is a misprint. I think I had the title for quel and lequel then separated them and left the wrong one.
      So quel is the adjective and lequel is the pronoun ;) at the end it doesn’t change much because they both agree in gender and number :)

  • @opera-obrolperancis8683
    @opera-obrolperancis8683 2 года назад

    Merci beaucoup. Mais j'ai une petite confusion. Il me semble que les questions "Quel" et "Lequel" ont un certain contexte qui est pareil et peuvent être répondues par les démonstratifs "Celui-ci" et "Celui-là".
    Exemples de question : "Quel est ton téléphone ?" et "Lequel est ton téléphone ?". Je vois pas vraiment la distinction des deux puisque dans ces deux questions, il y a un même sens et une même condition. La personne qui pose la question sait déjà que son ami a un téléphone.
    Alors, demander "Quel est ton téléphone ?" ou bien "Lequel est ton téléphone ?" veut dire la même chose comme si l'adjectif "Quel" et le pronom "Lequel" ont un côté où ils sont des synonymes et peuvent remplacer l'un avec l'autre.
    C'est aussi un peu comme choisir entre dire "Maintenant" ou bien "A présent". Les deux sont corrects. Car, ils veulent dire la même chose. J'ai raison ou pas ? Merci d'avance.

    • @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane

      Lequel est ton téléphone = which one

    Hi Dylane! Great video as always, by the way. I have to ask though. In the LingoPie advertisement before your video, they keep showing the scene where the guy says, "La putain de bonne actrice!". Isn't 'putain' a pretty bad French word? :-)

    Respectfully it is not like english (I'm not a native english speaker even so I'm not defending my language but even in my language also what is just what wherever it lands). what and that rules in french are so confusing. Taken from a vocabulary memorization approach without a sentence context it is impossible to understand which is a huge problem. A language should be built to be logical, not to be a maze. Subject, object, pronouns, adjective, then add prepositions or est-ce qui or est-ce que. Oh my god. Now I'm also looking at ce qui and ce que and ce dont and I have no real grasp when to use which. If I looked at french sentence I can guess its meaning in english but if I look at the english sentence and think if I wanted to translate this to French I would not guess it was this word or words combination. It is not your fault in anyway but even when there is an excellent teacher like you and it is still a maze this is infuriating.
