In the full show she waits outside and Doug is scared to leave. It’s just classic, well written, superb acting. Don’t see many shows like that anymore.

Well .. even I think Carrie would hesitate to go toe to toe with this waitress ... Carrie like Doug talks the talk BUT doesn't walk the walk. Doug & Carrie are 2 selfish people, Carrie's father was a head case that affected Carrie. Doug just a fat bastard who was lazy and just wanted to lay around and eat all day. I could NEVER see them raising those 2 children good (adopted child & their own)when the show ended ... 2 more children defected by 2 head cases for parents!!!
This is actually Episode 18 of Season 7, and the waitress is played by writer/comedian Rebecca Corry (4' 11"). I remember her being on "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen".
@@JCDragon2819 I`m normally on the site of service personal because that job is soulcrushing, but she deserved to get fired. Bitch harrased and threatend a customer with bodily harm because of a plate of wings. Truly unhinged.

LOL! I love the end of the ep the waitress is pacing outside the window waiting for Doug to come out. He is gnawing on the bones of the wings because he does not want to go out!
It is unfortunate that the actress who played the waitress did Not win an Emmy for this performance! I have re-watched this scene many times, when I need a laugh.

Nope - the episode where Arthur kept answering the phone when Doug was trying to call in to listen to the messages was best. Followed by the time Arthur was asked to videotape the purse-ball match (yepp - in Europe we call "american" "football" purse-ball, since it looks like women running with purses).
