I tried this set, but this monk didnt endure the first encounter. But i apreciate very much the effort your bring about clarifying the mechanics of the game. If you dont, with all due respect id like to build a deathgodlike chanter called "doomsayer", do you got any tips for that. Is it possible?
Does any of this change with the latest 3.0 update to the game? I'm way late to this game and it's hard to tell what still works and what's been nerfed.
I'd probably change some attributes move some points over to CON. I think the build should still work overall I'm not currently aware of anything else that has radically changed.
You mean the fact that it works even when they miss you in melee? No idea :D Don't even know if their aware of it but it's either a bug or a description error. If someone wants to ask them or post it as a bug report their welcome to, I won't hold a grudge for slightly nerrfing my build should they change it ;)
It's possible not all patch changes are documented I'm pretty busy with Gal Civ 3 at the moment but I intend to do an addendum video for these class videos at some point to say what's been changed maybe after patch 1.6 or 1.7.

Macsen Lets Plays I had a look at the patch notes for 1.0.5 but couldnt find it. Could be intentional? Works well, anyway :)
has the new patch nerfed the monk? the rooted pain seems to do quite a bit less damage than in this video on my monk.
