Just one complaint: Why the hell didn't I do this 100,000 miles ago?!? LOL Thanks for taking the time to do such a great detailed vid. The matrix showing what was needed for each year/trim level, and the diagram showing where to center the hole for the cutout were particularly helpful! For a $17 module acquired on eBay and an hour of my time (went slow to make sure I did things right) I now have factory cruise. Sweet!

This is an incredible and helpful video to DIY lovers. I was greatly motivated to do this on my next project. I am driving a ViosToyota 1.3L (Yaris model to some countries), manual transmission. I know that some electrical systems and engine are likely similar to previous years, and this just add features on current models. I am planning to install a CC but I have not yet determined if my system is already pre-wired with CC, though upon checking with the owner's manual, my car supports cruise control feature. My dilemma is finding the correct wires to connect the clutch switch (sensor). I saw in your video that you connect it at your fuse box (blue and white wires in one of the connectors), however, the fuse box design of my car vary a lot with your car's fuse box. I am seeking help and advice on how to determine the wires or pin on where to tap the clutch sensors to. What were the functions of those wires (blue and white) in your fuse box, and where did you get the information, as I had spent days looking in google and other website for these information, but i got no luck. I have done some research and watched other videos. So far, your video is great and commendable as they are straight to the point and not boring. Thanks and I will appreciate any advice and help. Stay safe bro.

So pretty much install wire into the white plug mount the cruise control run the ecu plug then earth the cruise control. Is this all I need to do. Will the cruise control disengage when I put my foot on the break. If you can not answer or are unsure is finding the 30 page manual that you mentioned as easy as putting in the make and model of the part and then typing manual into google?
If you respond I will purchase some merchandise from you for your efforts. Thank you so much in advance.

First you need to check if your ECU has the cruise control function enabled, it depends on what country you bought the car in. For example, I have a 2014 sedan made in japan and imported directly to México, but it has the mexican market specifications and those crappy specs don't include the cruise control function. The case would've been different if I had imported the car from the US to México (having the US market specs is much better).
