Holy shit, dude. The shade is real... For someone who never spoke badly (or at all) about his "personal years" with MJ, he really went in deep! This feels TOTALLY like it was Sean's therapy! Whatever heals you, Sean. Good for him.
@@FedeRhodes That is such a good point! And with evidence like that, it is truly unbelievable that so many people still think MJ never did anything wrong. Just the fact that he crept his way in to Sean's life, like, literally RIGHT after John died...preying on a grieving son...it makes me nauseous.
@@FedeRhodes He managed to fool me for years, that's for sure. It was devastating for me to have to come to terms with who he really was behind closed doors. Your comment made me think of a story I read about Princess Diana, and how she basically told MJ to go F himself when he was trying to establish a relationship with Prince William when he was a toddler. It was AMAZING!! She saw through his B.S. way back in the early 80s! If you've never heard the story, you HAVE to google it. It just made me have mad respect for her as a mom and a protector! @@snice. I don't know. I have thought about it, and looking back, I think into all of this there is a middle where everything fits. I think MJ had mental problems and transported children into his coping mechanism to heal from his mental problems but with good intentions, not bad ones. It's very bad to do but in the end i do believe all the allegation that ever was was bullshit. I think Michael Jackson had his demons and wasn't an healthy individual but it doesn't make him a monster I just researched what he said about the song and it makes sense now : "I was telling Les [Claypool] about it, and we were talking about song topics, and it just seemed like it fit in with the theme of trippy narratives that our record has. And I thought it'd be interesting to write about something that actually happened. It just felt right. I think I'd resisted much of my life talking about those kinds of stories, because they just seemed so hard to figure out how to translate them or relate them. And I just thought it was an interesting metaphor for what happened to a lot of Michael's friends who were my age. It felt like there was something odd going on, and I still don't know what it was. Nothing ever happened with me in an illegal way, but the whole place just felt like I was in some Peter Pan fantasy land. And there was a sense that when Bubbles got too old, he'd have to be gotten rid of, because chimpanzees turn into angry adults or dangerous adults. And it just felt like that was something I could relate to in terms of the whole situation out there. Because there was something Michael liked about hanging out with kids, because they're so innocent and fun. Then, when you become an adult, it felt like you were a chimpanzee: too old to play with anymore." Looks like what he lived was surreal and kind of weird. But not as bad as people make it seem. He had a good experience, just a crazy one.

What really caught my attention was Corey Feldman's sudden reversal from defending M.J to suddenly declaring I can no longer defend him. He said this after watching Leaving Neverland. Back in the mid 1970's myself,, my niece and nephew were all groomed for a period of a year by a pedophile Uncle. I was the oldest at 10 years old,, my niece was 7 and my nephew was 5 years old. At the time we had no clue what it meant to groom someone. All three of us had less than ideal home lives and were starved for attention especially from a father figure and this pedophile Uncle picked up on this pretty quick and stepped into the father figure role. He took us to Football and Basketball games, took us out for pizza every weekend. Took us out on his motorcycle. He gave us money and bought us things. We practically worshipped him. After a year passes he chose his victim which was me and pretty much abandoned the other two kids and then he slowly started moving in on me. And like M.J he started leaving hardcore porn laying around the apt for me to find and look at and like a lot of kids I was curious and it was a forbidden thing to do. This is how they break down a kid's resistance. They do it by slowly exposing them to it and then convincing a kid that what they are looking at or engaging in is a perfectly normal act between two people who love each another. Sound familiar. Anyway the point I'm trying to make is this. I wonder if Corey,, [ after watching Leaving Neverland ], started thinking back to his time there and remembering in clearer detail the things that went on around him. Now that I'm an adult I know all about pedophiles and how they operate and I can clearly look back and see when the actual grooming started. But when I was a kid my Uncle just seemed like a nice safe person who loved and cared for us. And that's how pedophiles start out grooming their future victims. A pedophile not only destroys a young person's life but they leave them saddled with a lifetime of guilt. They are truly a wolf in sheep's clothing. And they never change.
I'm so sorry. That is awful. I hope you are doing okay.. I believe Wade, James, Gavin, Jason Francia and Jordan Chandler -- when they say MJ molested them.. but I don't think MJ molested Corey. I think he definitely was inappropriate with Corey (Corey admitted MJ showed him nudie mags when he was a child), but I don't think he went that as far as messing with him... Corey was a big star by the time they met - it would have been risky.. plus, not to be rude, but Corey wasn't attractive. All of MJ's "boys" were extremely cute kids.. Corey wasn't. Just my opinion though.
I'm so sorry you had to go through that and hope you're doing okay. Did you tell anyone at the time and were you believed? I hope so but if not it isn't your fault your uncle was evil. God bless you.
Sean was MJ's "special friend" 1983-1990. His father had died and MJ wanted to be his father figure... I can only imagine what went on when they were left alone. Sadly so, this video speaks volumes. I hope Sean has the courage to speak out one day! There were so many "special friends"...
He said nothing happened, and I'm inclined to believe it. Surely Michael would have known better than to put his hands on John's kid. Other kids were definitely not that lucky. But you can tell Sean knew something sketchy was going on all along.
Maybe Sean was indeed looking a father figure 😢, maybe he wasn't abuse because he was rich, but now that he is an adult conected the dots about what was happening.
@@ManubibiWalsh I agree with you. Michael were smart enough to know that his trick probably wouldn't worked to a wealthy and famous family, and it will be a big disaster if they ever came forward. Some of a paedophile known method are using coercion to the family, made the children into a 'compliant victim'. This mostly worked to a dysfunctional and poor family, so they could be bribed and groomed by his star persona, those was Michael main target. It will also be much easier to threatened and discredit them if somehow something gone horribly wrong and it didn't work. The method would be much less effective to the other known famous family. He wouldn't push his luck by forcing someone like Sean Lennon or Macaulay Culkin. If 'uncle Paul' and other Beatles members ever heard the wind that Lennon son got mistreated by outsider, there would be a blood bath! No way Jackson could get away. He would test the water, and retreat to find other potential and easier to control victim if he didn't get good responses. I believe it's very unlikely that he molested Sean or Macaulay. But it's very possible that both know something. Isn't Macaulay gone quiet recently? Didn't speak about "Leaving Neverland". It wouldn't surprise me if Macaulay come out to testify some time in the future.
@@dalfifran7572 I think Mac's been very quiet also because he's Paris' godfather and he got introduced in the Jackson family in a pretty tight way so he doesn't have much of an incentive to speak out. Aaron Carter said he smoked week with Michael though, which would corroborate the accusations about him offering alcohol and other substances to kids. It's truly horrifying.
Great song! Creepy video, but then again, Neverland in the early 80's was by all accounts a pretty strange place. Nobody knows that better than Sean Lennon, one of MJ's incredibly high-profile child friends of the era. It's something that he lived through, so I think that gives him ample right to represent it artistically. I don't think he's doing it "just for the money." I don't think the child of a Beatle could possibly need to do anything just for the money! Anyway, I'm sure excited to hear Sean going down this psychedelic route with his music. "The Ghost of a Sabertooth Tiger" album was also excellent retro psychedelia and now this new project - it feels like Lennon embracing his birthright while also forging his own identity.
"Neverland" didn't exist in the early 80's-Michael didn't buy the ranch until 88 and started working on it in 89-Sean says this is some kind of reimagining of what he really experienced there-some weird imagination, I guess.

Since I was a child I was a fan of him, I defended him tooth and nail, but until a friend who works with sexually abused children in childhood instances got me to do my service there to graduate, I began to research more about pedophilia and child sexual abuse, I was surprised. that most cases go unpunished due to lack of evidence, also why many tend to defend their aggressor since they prepare them to abuse them, in many cases they end up loving their aggressor, after observing Michael's behavior, his patterns and his lost childhood I can see that in psychological terms Michael did feel attracted to children.
Sharon Plume and the rest... when will you people realise that there’s no conspiracy against MJ, how many other kids need to come forward before you realise? The only people who are motivated only by money is the MJ estate, because they have the most to lose. Their livelihoods depend on the world seeing MJ as nothing but a straight, eccentric man who simply enjoyed sleeping with another little boy alone every night.
@Sharon Plume Being attracted to children is something child molesters can't turn off but child molestation actually is a habit certain pedophiles can turn off (suppress would be a more fitting word), because a certain level of restraint needs to be involved if said molester is to evade justice. Unless you're suggesting all child molesters molests every child he meets? As an expert psychologist you show an astounding lack of knowledge on this this subject, so let me educate you. www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/1707466/jewish/Things-You-Need-to-Know-About-Child-Molesters.htm 'What is the profile of a child molester? An average child molester will offend 200-400 times before being caught, if ever. The vast majority of offenders do not get caught, and they have no criminal records. According to the FBI, only one out of ten cases of child sexual abuse is reported to law enforcement.' The average pedophile will OFFEND 200-400 times, big difference - although it has to be said that this does not apply to every single pedophile. MJ did not need to seek out that many children for access, as he had repeated access to a select few children in which he molested. He did so in a way which is actually very typical of child molesters: 'Showering their prospective victims with attention, offenders may also offer treats, trips to desirable places that children enjoy, or special privileges. Once a child has accepted many “kind” offers from the molester, it becomes increasingly more difficult for the child to assert him- or herself and refuse the molester’s advances, which tend to get more confusing very gradually. Once child molesters have chosen their potential victims, they work hard at patiently developing relationships with them. Since this grooming process can sometimes go on for years, it is common for child molesters to cultivate many prospective victims at a time. A large number of predators believe that what they are doing is not wrong, and that being intimate with a child is actually “healthy” for the child. After extended molestation, children and preteens can actually grow attached to their offender and become jealous when the offender’s attention goes to others who are younger, once they have reached a certain age. Their entire lives have been colored by the abuse.' MJ fit this profile to a tee, he also slept with one other child on hundreds of occasions - this is not even disputed by MJ as it was established in the 2005 trial. Back when Wade Robson was credible in your eyes, had Robson and Safechuck said what they are saying now, then MJ would be in jail. MJ was only ever tried on molesting 2 children. Not even including the first one who accused him, who was paid $23m shortly after he gave a detailed description of his genitals. He was found not guilty, so what? So was OJ, did you think the judicial system is flawless? What ever your thoughts are on what happened behind closed doors is up for discussion but to claim that MJ didn't even have any opportunity to molest children isn't. I personally think that the children who slept alone in the same room as MJ for months on end (not exclusively in Neverland by the way) are more likely to determine whether they were molested or not than one of his bodyguards. Usually child molesters don't operate in view of other people and MJ was no different, although there were many former employees that have spoken out against MJ throughout the years. But you don't listen to them, do you? You only seek out information that reinforces your bias, and quickly dismiss anything that confronts your faith.

Dalfi Fran I agree with you, I don’t think Michael actually sexually abused him or he seen any actual abuse. It would be pretty stupid to go after someone as high profile as John Lennon’s son, specially with a crazy biatch, like Yoko Ono as his mother. And say what you want about Yoko? That’s she self-absorbed, untalented, screwed Julian over with his inheritance and probably had a hand in breaking up the Beatles? But you can’t deny she’s fiercely protective over Sean and I have no question she would go full tiger mom on Michael’s dandy-ass if she suspected him of doing anything to her son. It’s too much of a risk to take? I just think as Sean got older and gain perspective over the situation he probably realize all the hand holding and sitting on Michael lap and sleepovers at Neverland, spent in Michael’s bedroom with motion detectors outside in the hall wasn’t as innocent as he once thought it was at the time?
@@Jonseygorl Agreed. Yoko is crazy biatch. It would be too high risk to pushing after Sean Lennon or Macaulay Culkin. Jackson would have better chance to grooming the poor family who's startstrucked to him, and a more compliant victim.
I just don't understand how someone can say Yoko was a tiger mom fiercely protective of her son when she let him spend time with such a person. Holding hands and sitting on his lap? Never do you treat a young man like that unless hes a toddler still. No. Yoko didn't care about her son enough to protect him from Michael. Sounds more like an exchange program between wealthy types. To the dozens of people making the same, almost copied-and-pasted "Sean betrayed MJ" comments, (1) This was actually a part of Sean's life too, although he more passed through, he was there (2) Sean has said that this song is meant to be empathetic to a phase in MJ's life, not a criticism (3) I really don't think Sean is trying to use this track to sell this album (any more than any other song), it's not the title track of the album, nor is it the one they promoted when they announced the album. It's just a song he wrote. (4) Chill out and learn to consume art. The weird art direction style is probably Les Claypool's handiwork anyway -- check out some of the Primus music videos (especially from the mid-late 90's) if you don't believe me. And if you don't like the sound, that's different than being mad for the sake of being mad.
Also need to take into consideration of Bubbles and where he is now. Bubbles got big and grew up and became dangerous due to strength and size. He lives at a facility with other chimps and has learned to socialize with his own kind.

To the offended MJ fans: Yes, Jackson isn't portrayed in the best way in the video, but... In the video, did he do anything bad to the monkey? No. He had the best intentions for the monkey, and in the end they both like each other a lot. The MJ here only looks creepy, he's actually portrayed as a really good person. In other words, this video isn't trying to make MJ look creepy in order to garner bad press or to be offensive. MJ looks creepy because Sean and Les wanted a surreal looking video to go with a surreal sounding song. Also, I don't think you should blame Sean for the video. Les Claypool is known to be completely insane when it comes to his music (that's why we love him), and it looks like the weirdness is his handiwork. If you want to raise your pitchforks against someone, it would be him.
... Again, I'm not sure if there's anything offensive in this. The video does not picture MJ as anything less than kind and caring. Yes, he looks a bit weird, but that's just taking some artistic liberties. Also, Les Claypool directed this, and he's the other half of this project. It was probably his idea to portray Michael like this. It's kinda telling that you guys are only attacking the bigger name....
+Francis Baxter Yeah, I completely agree. Les Claypool is a huge deal in the music world. Hell, he's one of my personal idols... But in the pop culture world, Sean is the more recognizeable figure because of who his father is. This is why all this drama annoys me. I first saw this video I immediately recognized that weirdness that Les Claypool is known for. And when Claypool does a tribute to something, it's goddamn weird. It's clear that Claypool was the main creative force for the video, because it has the Claypool style. Then all of these Michael Jackson fans come barging in all angry that their idol was being "attacked" and "insulted." And because they don't know anything about either of these people, they start spewing vitriol at Sean, saying all sorts of shit about how he'll never live up John and that he and Jackson would be ashamed. Here's a more exasperated message to the offended MJ fans: If portraying a dead pop icon in a weird way gets you this angry, grow up. Even if it is insulting (it's not) , Michael doesn't need to be defended, his legacy will do that for him. Go outside, hug someone you love, plant a tree or something. Those things make the world a better place, unlike swarming a RUclips video you don't like.
I don't know if making cheap dig at a 7 year long dead fellow artist while copying your fathers style and vocals is what I'd call courageous but you know
It makes me really uncomfortable. And lets get honest,MJs innocence has always been a sensitive topic.Whatever Seans motivation is,its very likely to leave an bad influence to people, especially when Sean was one of the kids once visited Neverland.
If you've ever created something - a song, a video, a painting, a story, etc. - you've probably noticed that your creation has a tendency to reveal subconscious thoughts you had no idea that you were expressing. You might even have been consciously trying to hide them. When other people view/listen to your work, however, they see what you don't or can't or refuse to see. It's happened to me many a time. Although Sean Lennon denies it, I do think this video is about MJ's pedophilia or at least, the allegations of pedophilia. The imagery is so very, very obvious. Sean (and MJ's other celebrity child friends) apparently were not molested in any way. I believe them when they say so. But I think Sean knows in his heart what was going on. Michael wasn't an idiot. He wasn't going to molest a child who's parents and handlers could expose his behavior. Those boys had the power of fame to protect them and they could afford good lawyers (or good lawyers who wanted to share in the fame). Maybe he even respected them too much because of their accomplishments or family ties to violate them. Michael preyed on the most powerless and easily manipulated boys. Some, apparently, who were even quite sick. These were boys who's families were so desperate that their silence could be purchased. Boys who were easy to dispute and disparage in court, if it came to that. I have no doubt that Michael was molested at about age 12 and that he sought out boys who reminded him of himself and that he was attracted to his victims because he identified with their helplessness and vulnerability. Boys who looked the way Michael longed to look - not white but not dark-skinned either. Bubbles clearly represents these boys. I cringed at the racist implications of having a white man made up to look like a chimpanzee which represented the not-too-black version of MJ he saw in vulnerable Hispanic boys. Holy cow! Then put the frightened animal/child in a bed where (a very white man portraying) Michael entices him with all sorts of suggestive foods and drinks. "Hello! I've got something for you, Bubbles." It's a big, phallic banana! It's some milk in a phallic bottle! I'll squirt some on my face. Ummmm....yummy. Here, let's practice my dance moves and I'll mime having anal sex with you. Then we'll take a bath together while we lick this candy. We'll live in a perfect land (that I control) full of cherries (you) and bananas (me). Oh, no! It's the media and the DA with a subpoena. They want to ruin everything! Let's fly away to a planet where we're all alone. We'll take an endless bath framed by a love heart and I'll burst your bubble. Yay!
I view this vid as a parody about the representation the mass media made about Michael I dont think Mike ever molested a kid I do believe he had an unhealthy obsesión with his childhood which led to him getting in a vurnarable position where people could accuse him
you fucking nailed it, holy shit! did you watch over and over and take notes? especially the milk bottle, they used similar symbolism on Seinfeld with a bottle of ketchup that George squeezes to symbolize ejaculation.
I loved this song and got addicted to it. It is so frightening to see that a child who lived with Michael made such a disturbing music video based on him. This monster made children fall in love with him, and kept them away from their parents! When they got old he would abandon it and exchange it for newer ones.
Wow ! Congratulations u have been completely brainwashed by the media!! Watch 'SQUARE ONE' and 'Lies of Leaving Neverland' it's on RUclips!! And get educated bfr commenting nonsense!!
Did anyone else notice that the lyrics are not clear on purpose? They're so unclear that we're only focusing on the melody not the words?the first time I listened to this I litterally thought it had no lyrics just music playing. Could this mean that people are so distracted by Michael Jackson's music and not listening to the truth? Also it's more than one person singing and they sound like kids but are not. This tells that there are many victims. When he walks in the hallway it's full of mirrors which symbolises narcissism. Chimpanzees are not meant to be pets. However, sometimes they're sold illegally for the purpose of having them as pets when they're infants and when they grow old they ditch them. This tells that newborns are sex trafficked and sold at a young age by private jets for the rich people and when they become older they get rid of them. The first part where he is seducing the chimp with candies and food represents grooming.Toys bananas means that the toys are shaped as bananas which is the shape of a penis (sex toys). Squirting milk is when he introduced him to ejaculation. The bathtub is where the actual abuse took place. Jackson's maid said she would see Jackson's boxers and the kids boxers in the same bathtub. And when media exposes him and fbi is investigating he transforms himself into a spaceship (a new character) so he could get away with his crime and creates a new environment for his victims (a new place and house maybe) where he continues his crime and no one can detect him and expose him. Bubbles burst means that kids are living in their imaginary world that Jackson has created for them so they are not aware of the abuse. At 2:36 you can see the place is ugly and scary but the chimp is content because he's living in his bubble. And When they grow up their bubble bursts and they know the truth. But it's too late. Also he named the chimp bubbles so him bursting could mean he gets killed after the abuse. This music video is deeper than I thought. It is only meant for people who are truly seeking the truth objectively and not blinded by their love for Jackson's art. This summarized a 4 hours long ' leaving neverland' in a 4 minute video. This is what we should call Art. Edit:A lot of people found this video uncomfortable to watch. The truth is uncomfortable. But, It's the truth.
@@helloworld9760 Don't try to explain anything to blind fans. You could post here a video of MJ doing bj on some child, it could be proved million times that the video is not fake, and they still wouldn't believe. MJ was a sick pedophile. I am not a hater, I was a huge fan of MJ since my childhood. Now I am 40. You greatly explained this video in your original comment, you are obviously very intelligent and you use own head. So, don't waste your time and energy on people who don't have capacity to understand.
This clip pissed me off. mockery of Michael Jackson. it seems that S. Lennon wanted to draw attention to his long-forgotten person. This video has been discussed on the forums. public apology... This is a challenging video, not a nasty one. Michael was laughed at. You can sue. You don't have to force your opinion on people. this clip - mockery should be destroyed.
Well, in Sean's own words : "I mean whatever happened with him and anyone else, I have no opinion of because I wasn't there, you know? But when I talked about it in 'Bubbles Burst,' the song, I wasn't trying to be critical. I was simply trying to document the truth. You know, 'This happened,' is all I would say. I think a lot of people thought I was criticizing him or not criticizing him or whatever but it wasn't about that. The song was really just documenting a strange time - like a surrealist moment of my life that was memorable."
Exactly, and this video doesn't even put MJ in a bad light (Like do many comments are saying) at all if they bothered to watch more than half of the video. People are weird as hell sometimes.
Sean Lennon stated : "I think it’s important that even if people don’t believe me or are angry about the way Michael is portrayed in the video, that the truth is my intention is very sincere and harmless, and I’m just making a song,” Lennon said. “I’m not trying to take him out or anything, or put him down. I was just trying to have fun and talk about an odd situation in a way that makes it art. It’s like a parallel dimension, and it’s a dark, comedic manifestation that comes more out of the song and not out of real life. It’s like a reflection of a reflection.” “I just thought it was an interesting metaphor for what happened to a lot of Michael’s friends who were my age. It felt like there was something odd going on, and I still don’t know what it was,” “Nothing ever happened with me in an illegal way, but the whole place just felt like I was in some Peter Pan fantasy land. And there was a sense that when Bubbles got too old, he’d have to be gotten rid of, because chimpanzees turn into angry adults or dangerous adults.”
I mean it's quite obvious that this is a desperate attempt to get views and or noticed what other way then to controversially focus around a big name in the industry like Michael Jackson
Sean Lennon: "I actually wrote a song about it, 'Bubbles Burst,' on the last Delirium album," Lennon explains over the phone from his home in upstate New York (see the video at the bottom of the page), "and I think it's just one of many stories I have that are interesting from having a different kind of childhood but it's a song about being friends with Bubbles, Michael Jackson's chimpanzee, and spending time out at Michael's house in California with Bubbles and the boa constrictor and a bunch of other animals. "I think that was a super strange time, but not in a dark way. In an odd way, in a unique way. It was odd because Bubbles was all dressed up in dandy outfits and we were all running around playing videogames with this chimpanzee. It was a surreal scene. It was kind of part Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, part Dr. Doolittle, and part, you know, 'Motown's Greatest Hits' or something. It was a convergence of a lot of disparate universes that merged for a while. And that was a strange scene but it was really fun. I mean it was amazing to hang out with all those animals, but there was also something very eccentric about it, you know?" Though some horrendously disturbing and infamous allegations of sexual abuse of children have been made against Michael Jackson and are again the subject of conversation with the worldwide release of Leaving Neverland, Lennon only recalls fond memories. "He was the coolest dude I'd ever met for sure," he says. "I mean people, you know, they have a lot of opinions about him and like anything else, my opinions can only be based on my experience. But he was super fun to hang out with. I mean he was like a big kid, you know? "So yeah, the time that I got to spend with him was - it was like Disneyland all day long. He'd set up water balloon fights and pie fights in basketball courts. Just really fun stuff where he'd like invite all his friends over and there'd be two teams and everyone would dress in garbage bags and throw pies at each other. It was like super high-level fun and it was orchestrated fun and insanity. "I mean whatever happened with him and anyone else, I have no opinion of because I wasn't there, you know? But when I talked about it in 'Bubbles Burst,' the song, I wasn't trying to be critical. I was simply trying to document the truth. You know, 'This happened,' is all I would say. I think a lot of people thought I was criticizing him or not criticizing him or whatever but it wasn't about that. The song was really just documenting a strange time - like a surrealist moment of my life that was memorable."
@@Lopezflies888 "he can say all he wants but the video..." lol now you sound dumb since this is the same person who made the video happened and just explaining where the idea came from. He did a few other interviews talking about it.
I think MJ was a lot more careful with the high profile kids like Sean, Corey and Macaulay who themselves were rich and famous. It's easier to pay off parents and kids who don't have much. And now that Corey Feldman has suddenly announced that he can no longer defend MJ makes me wonder what he saw when he was at Neverland.
Corey said he saw nothing. Quite the opposite. He said MJ was the one guy he met in hollywood who WASNT a pedo. Sean also denies any abuse or seeing abuse.
saying he chose kids who didn’t have much doesn’t add up, the first family had enough money because the father was a dentist, and the second family, while they didn’t have much, they were discredited because their story made no sense and they had a history of making stuff up to get money from famous people and companies
Lisa G so what? abstinence only education does that to kids too, but people still fund it. I think I saw something where he said the only time they talked about sex was once when they agreed it was scary, and this book may have been part of that discussion. No big deal, and I don’t know for sure, but I’m leaning on innocent, and he’s long gone now anyways.
He didn't wanna see a real kid with the person playing Jackson because it would revive the trauma. I'm disgusted by this and I know this is acting imagine re-living these past memories and seeing actual kids with him.
I think this is one of those songs that is maybe not as dark or deep as it initially seems, especially right after "leaving neverland". The music seems very sinister. The lyrics on their own are pretty open to interpretation (like most good song lyrics imo). It could be a very subtle, coming out as a sexual abuse victim story told with metaphors and innuendo. It could also just be a psychedelic tale of the weird surreal world of Neverland and a clever pun as a title. It also seems kinda weird they would do this comedic style video if the subject was that dark, I imagine that would not be something you would exploit in that way.
Because I've been a Sean Lennon fan since his first album, I see or hear all his new works as soon as they are released. Even before Finding Neverland, this video and the song told the truth---a creepy, sick, perverted man preyed upon children by grooming them with food, candy, trips, and more. The chimpanzee is a child...the banana and milk bottle are metaphors for...you figure it out. The bed, the bathing, the running from detection and prosecution are factual. Sean finally spoke out with this song. Hopefully, if he was ever touched or groomed for sex he will say so one day. It's all sad and infuriating.
@@floraline7153 you clearly haven’t see his interviews about this song. Said he didn’t experience any of this. He made this video to express the oddness and eccentricity of Jackson and the Neverland experience. Eccentricity doesn’t equate to sexual perversion. Tesla was eccentric. Edison, Hughes etc., Lots of highly gifted people are eccentric.
don't you think Michael would feel bad about this? do you think he would laugh about the way this man portrayes him as a mentally ill man? To have another point of view, I'm sure Sean would be very angry and sad if someone makes something like this about his father. And he even calls himself a friend of Michael. This is just disrespectful.
I'd like for at least one person who doesn't have an MJ icon as their profile picture to explain to me why this video is "garbage". Go on, I'm waiting...
+Dora Robertson I'm afraid butt-hurt fans will never stop being butt-hurt until they get their way, we just have to wait it out for any actual talk about stuff like this until fans stop trying to murder the people that create art that might cause a reaction

What you’re saying makes sense to me, but how come he defended mj? What I see says he defended him.
I think Michael Jackson had his demons and wasn't an healthy individual but it doesn't make him a monster
I just researched what he said about the song and it makes sense now :
"I was telling Les [Claypool] about it, and we were talking about song topics, and it just seemed like it fit in with the theme of trippy narratives that our record has. Then, when you become an adult, it felt like you were a chimpanzee: too old to play with anymore."
Looks like what he lived was surreal and kind of weird. But not as bad as people make it seem. He had a good experience, just a crazy one.
@@talkativeworld yea i think he had bitter feelings because although the bond wasnt sexual mj did use the kids to fill a missing hole in his heart then when they got to old he left them. I look at this song as just emotions coming out.
I think Sean is definitely trying to say something. I think the Jackson estate has everyone by the balls due to how much money and power they have. Hence, why none of these celebrity victims are coming out.
@@FedeRhodes he himself said there was nothing going on and the video doesn't describe that something went on. Clayppol, Lennon, and the Fielding Brothers? Terrific!
I honestly think Corey did that simply because the mainstream media switched their stances. No other reason.
facts on top of facts on top of FACTS!!! 💯💯💯💯💯💯
I'm so sorry you experienced that, thanks for telling your story. It helps with understanding grooming, which most people have no idea what it is.
This is a bombshell! Wow.
@@ManubibiWalsh
I agree with you.
@@barbee0715 "Neverland" has existed since the early 1900s (J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan stories). MJs ranch was named after it, but who knows how long he'd been living in Neverland in his head, before he bought the ranch.

@@jimcim29I was also a fan of Michael Jackson for 20 years, but investigating the cases of pedophilia, behaviors and types that exist, I can tell you with complete certainty that Michael Jackson was a pedophile, it hurt me to accept it, the process of disenchantment was hard, as if they were going to tear you away. your heart and they will smash it so hard that you simply feel like you are dying.
Sean used to hang out with Michael and Bubbles. He was one of the kids in Michael's Moonwalker film.
i sure hope not
Sharon Plume and the rest... when will you people realise that there’s no conspiracy against MJ, how many other kids need to come forward before you realise?
The only people who are motivated only by money is the MJ estate, because they have the most to lose. Their livelihoods depend on the world seeing MJ as nothing but a straight, eccentric man who simply enjoyed sleeping with another little boy alone every night.
@Sharon Plume
Being attracted to children is something child molesters can't turn off but child molestation actually is a habit certain pedophiles can turn off (suppress would be a more fitting word), because a certain level of restraint needs to be involved if said molester is to evade justice. Unless you're suggesting all child molesters molests every child he meets? As an expert psychologist you show an astounding lack of knowledge on this this subject, so let me educate you.
www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/1707466/jewish/Things-You-Need-to-Know-About-Child-Molesters.htm
'What is the profile of a child molester? An average child molester will offend 200-400 times before being caught, if ever. The vast majority of offenders do not get caught, and they have no criminal records. According to the FBI, only one out of ten cases of child sexual abuse is reported to law enforcement.'
The average pedophile will OFFEND 200-400 times, big difference - although it has to be said that this does not apply to every single pedophile. MJ did not need to seek out that many children for access, as he had repeated access to a select few children in which he molested. He did so in a way which is actually very typical of child molesters:
'Showering their prospective victims with attention, offenders may also offer treats, trips to desirable places that children enjoy, or special privileges.
Their entire lives have been colored by the abuse.'
MJ fit this profile to a tee, he also slept with one other child on hundreds of occasions - this is not even disputed by MJ as it was established in the 2005 trial.

What Sean implied is quite obvious here.

Agreed. Yoko is crazy biatch.
It would be too high risk to pushing after Sean Lennon or Macaulay Culkin.

This song is self explanatory but we're talking about a man who's father was gunned down in front of his home. It might have happened due to angering powerful types. If I were Sean, I'd be careful too.

To the dozens of people making the same, almost copied-and-pasted "Sean betrayed MJ" comments,
(1) This was actually a part of Sean's life too, although he more passed through, he was there
(2) Sean has said that this song is meant to be empathetic to a phase in MJ's life, not a criticism
(3) I really don't think Sean is trying to use this track to sell this album (any more than any other song), it's not the title track of the album, nor is it the one they promoted when they announced the album.

To the offended MJ fans:
Yes, Jackson isn't portrayed in the best way in the video, but...
Thank you
What?
Here's a more exasperated message to the offended MJ fans:
If portraying a dead pop icon in a weird way gets you this angry, grow up. Even if it is insulting (it's not) , Michael doesn't need to be defended, his legacy will do that for him. Go outside, hug someone you love, plant a tree or something. Those things make the world a better place, unlike swarming a RUclips video you don't like.

Whoa, truly bizarre. They released] this at a very important time in my life. The video makes it even more trippy. nice;

Exactly, and this video doesn't even put MJ in a bad light (Like do many comments are saying) at all if they bothered to watch more than half of the video. People are weird as hell sometimes.
+Rosane The video isn't offensive in any way, watch past the half way point and you'll see its actually quite a touching tribute to Bubbles and MJ
+Rosane was he not insane? cause I vaguely remember him hanging his own baby over a balcony.
how can you know about the content without taking a look....?
Primus/Lennon meets Mighty Boosh = my life 7 years ago
awesome!!!!
This is great
Sean Lennon stated : "I think it’s important that even if people don’t believe me or are angry about the way Michael is portrayed in the video, that the truth is my intention is very sincere and harmless, and I’m just making a song,” Lennon said. “I’m not trying to take him out or anything, or put him down. I was just trying to have fun and talk about an odd situation in a way that makes it art. It’s like a parallel dimension, and it’s a dark, comedic manifestation that comes more out of the song and not out of real life. It’s like a reflection of a reflection.”
“I just thought it was an interesting metaphor for what happened to a lot of Michael’s friends who were my age. It felt like there was something odd going on, and I still don’t know what it was,”
“Nothing ever happened with me in an illegal way, but the whole place just felt like I was in some Peter Pan fantasy land. And there was a sense that when Bubbles got too old, he’d have to be gotten rid of, because chimpanzees turn into angry adults or dangerous adults.”
I think the intention is clear enough. It's not exactly subtle is it?
@@roybatty4687 It doesn't state anything bad happened to the kids there.
@@chrysm6842 you sleep my friend.
@@salutsalut8272 Y'all are just fantasizing and Sean knows nothing.
and the guy who made this says this isn't a dig at all at Michael it's just having fun and a song but I beg to differ
... So you're saying he's lying?
I mean it was amazing to hang out with all those animals, but there was also something very eccentric about it, you know?"
Though some horrendously disturbing and infamous allegations of sexual abuse of children have been made against Michael Jackson and are again the subject of conversation with the worldwide release of Leaving Neverland, Lennon only recalls fond memories.
He can say all he wants the video speaks for itself
@@Lopezflies888 "he can say all he wants but the video..." lol now you sound dumb since this is the same person who made the video happened and just explaining where the idea came from. He did a few other interviews talking about it.
👏
If he was your friend and you have such a fond memories you would never make such a disturbing video. Shame on him.
I just can't stop deslike you
I AM UNCOMFORTABLE.
Is it? That doesn’t add up, though, because the first family he paid off wasn’t poor, the father was a dentist
saying he chose kids who didn’t have much doesn’t add up, the first family had enough money because the father was a dentist, and the second family, while they didn’t have much, they were discredited because their story made no sense and they had a history of making stuff up to get money from famous people and companies
Cory Feldman admitted that when he was 13 MJ randomly decided to show him a book full of adults genitals with STDs.
Lo tuve que ver varias veces para procesarlo ,está chido el video
Who else thinks this isnt about bubbles the chimp
it's about cherries being popped...
@Cookie Monster I am glad whatever had been happening. Sean was left out.
Childhoods END !
He didn't wanna see a real kid with the person playing Jackson because it would revive the trauma. I'm disgusted by this and I know this is acting imagine re-living these past memories and seeing actual kids with him.
Sean said the monkey is a metaphor
I was gonna say, this looked like something out of The Mighty Boosh, then I realized...oh yeah. It kind of is. This is oddly perfect.
Sean Lennon is going places.
Notice the bath?
MJ licking the lollipop in the bathtub didn't raise any alarms?
@@HigherCelf100 Whatever you say.
Jesus, people...this was meant to be a goofy little tribute, not an insult. Get a sense of humor.
Thank you for your sanity Dora
It's insulting af. If you think MJ would laugh about this you are delusional.
don't you think Michael would feel bad about this? do you think he would laugh about the way this man portrayes him as a mentally ill man? To have another point of view, I'm sure Sean would be very angry and sad if someone makes something like this about his father. And he even calls himself a friend of Michael. This is just disrespectful.
I'd like for at least one person who doesn't have an MJ icon as their profile picture to explain to me why this video is "garbage". Go on, I'm waiting...
+Dora Robertson I'm afraid butt-hurt fans will never stop being butt-hurt until they get their way, we just have to wait it out for any actual talk about stuff like this until fans stop trying to murder the people that create art that might cause a reaction
