Because he started with his experiments in the backyard Jack Parsons
As a little boy ready already went a bit too far
But the trouble really started when he found another young arsonist
Because together they were ready to reach the stars
So the two of them began to play around with various explosives
Jack had stolen from the local powder company
The military gathering a bevy of young rocket scientist
Thought the boys would do what no one else had achieved
How high does your rocket fly
You better be careful boys you just might, set the world on fire
You better be careful boys, you’ll set the world on fire
So Jack became a loyal follower of Mr. Aleister Crowley
He took an oath to be a Magister Templi
His pretty house in Pasadena was notorious for the orgies
Every night were Eleusinian Mysteries
When his company became the famous JP laboratories
his reputation made it difficult to proceed
And after one of his alchemical magical ceremonies
They found his body in a pile of blood and debris
How high does your rocket fly
You better be careful boys you just might, set the world on fire
You better be careful boys, you’ll set the world on fire
How high does your rocket fly
You better be careful boys you just might, set the world on fire
You better be careful boys, you better be careful, you’ll set the world on fire

This sounds like The Beatles meets King Crimson meets Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd.
First thing I though was early pink floyd sound
Yes, me too... Don't get King Crimson vibe.... But all good 👌😊
You’re stretching.
Too upbeat for pink floyd, but I see what you are saying. It's the minor chords that screams pink floyd. Seems more beatles to me though.
That’s the first thing you thought of?? This SCREAMS Beatles!
I’ve been listening to music for 60 years. This thing that Sean and Les have created is the best I’ve heard since the mid nineties. Truly something special.
Absolutely !!!

@@Kbeez420 Perry Farrel- neither Jane's Addiction or Porno For Pyros could crack it. What was the point in rock music anymore after those guys?
As someone who both thoroughly enjoys baroque music played on a ten stringed lute and the most aggressive forms of modern metal, I would like to respectfully push back on that notion. There is an abundance of emotional depth that has been explored in the past 30 years and continues to be interpreted as we speak. I do appreciate the honest response however. Thank you

LOL! This is mostly Les Claypol!
@@akumakumakuma1 Well, actually it's rather interesting. There are only 3 people playing music on this entire album and while Les sounds big in anything that he collaborates on, Sean is playing all of the guitars, most of the keys and most of the drums with the exception of Paulo Baldi, the 3rd musician in the recording who is drumming on "Boriska," "Amethyst Realm" and "Ask your Doctor." Plus Sean is a lyricist, singing lead and background vocals and he is one of the two Producers of the album.
So, really it is mostly Sean Lennon.

The Babylon working culminating in the birth of the moon child. Clever.
I used to listen to Sean Lennon's friendly fire album back in high school. Found this band and had been listening for a while. I just NOW found out Sean Lennon is in this band. Made my day.
Artistic genius. The curious tale of Jack Parsons, and how he met his untimely end, deemed a suicide though thought to have been either an accident or even foul-play... Brought to life with wonderfully esoteric and Thelemic imagery within a metaphysical contextual universe... The work is worthy of study and scrutiny, praise and applause. Oh and the music? Solid as a rock. This may be their best work to date - if they’re looking for a mainstream sound of course, I think they’ve found it. Viva la Delirium!
