Guys I just had mine. They did ask me why did I leave my last job and I said.. “I was discharged”. I gave them just enough detail but not too much. They literally said I was the first person to admit it ever and that they really appreciated my honesty. I got the job!
Way to go! I am so-o-o-o tired of the job interview process having to be such a game. The applicants know it is a game, and the interviewers know it, too. Still, for some reason it must be played. WHY DO YOU WANT TO LEAVE YOUR CURRENT JOB? Why can't you just say, I HAVE BEEN THERE FOR FIVE YEARS AND HAVE NOT BEEN OFFERED ANY PROMOTIONS OR TRAINING. I JUST WANT TO TRY SOMETHING NEW.
I agree for the first not second. Interviewers can think that we are not sure what we really want and also speaking a lot about our current position it can sound arrogant compared with others who express passion for the position in the interview. If you use the first as well I will keep it that method. Good advices, thank you!
I think this technique being very risky is excellent. I have tried it a couple of times, even without realizing. One of them was a success (although I did not accepted the job), the other was a complete faillure. In any event, you must be very sure, the position has to be excellent and above all, you do not have to fear to loose the oportunity. If you are just looking for a job to pay bills, this technique is not a good idea, but if you want a high position have nothing to loose and you are very sure about your value this can work. In any case is a good way to discard bad offers.
I have already cleared one technical interview and written test. Going to try this Pull technique tomorrow. I am hoping this works for a couple of reasons: 1. The hiring company’s HR contacted me via LinkedIn and invited me to their interview process 2. I got a pay hike and bonus letter just last week which I can tell them I don’t intend to leave my job as they are recognising my value in my current company. So based on that I will say that I am looking for the hiring company to offer better growth opportunities and expanded responsibilities etc., and ask if they are willing to offer that to me. Wish me luck!
pleas do more videos on like mock or practice interviews with like you or someone else doing a "fake/practice" I feel so weird I'm not sure how I should look putting it all together I know its gonna be different with everyone but anything will help thanks!
HI don, you have a video where you were giving sample questions and you answer them too. I am looking for taht video now i your list and seems its gone. Can you help please where I can access. I landed a job with your videos guidance and want to share it with a friend who is looking. Thank you very much
@@DonGeorgevich it's fair to tell em that? I had an interview recently and they told me that. they called for a 2nd interview but I turned it down cause the pay too low and non negotiable
Sir, I want you to deliver your complete interview answer book to India as soon as you can. I need this book for myself and for others too. Please reply what do you think.
I'm filling out an online Civil Service application where there's barley enough room to write I full sentence to answer this dreaded question. Does anyone have any insights on how to fit sq peg into this hole ? I have been in the same industry for 22yrs but recently got a college degree & want to move into another capacity in same industry.

Good for you, but most jobs needs an employee to be compulsive liar, so if they smell honesty, Red flag
Watched one of your videos 1 hour before the interview and I got the job. Huge accomplishment for me, a non European in Germany. Thank you!
Don is great!!!! Can't believe he shares his insight for free.

I'm going to call bluff. All In!
Wow, first time heard this GREAT technique! Thank you!
Wow! That's what I wanted to say. I just didn't think it was a good answer. That's honestly what I feel.
say what you feel. that's usually best.
I liked what I did but didn't feel entirely great while doing it. 😂😭 This is actually I have felt sometimes.
My boss is retiring and I need a new job by the time he does XD

I'm at a point in my career, where I will employ the pull technique. I don't care.
You rock

what if you don't like anything about the job besides the pay? I really can't say anything good about my company
I can’t tell you what to do but if it were me I would find a job that I really enjoy doing
@@DonGeorgevich that's hard. how do I do that
You're best.
Too risky...
Thx !
Nice and new shirt!
2:08 it starts three50
what if you're leaving because of hours being cut as low as 20 to 25 despite manager telling you he'd grant you fulltime hours
Then that’s the reason you’re leaving
