Last December I spent three days prepping and binging your videos and landed a job at a law firm with no prior experience. I was told they were very impressed with my interview and I was offered the job at the second interview. I decided law wasn’t for me and have since left that position, but I have another interview tomorrow and am going into it feeling confident. Thank you for these invaluable resources.
Before going to the interview go over the job description and identify any requirements where your skills they don’t quite match up and once you’ve indentified your shortcomings for the role then you can start planning how you’re going your respond to questions that may challenge your areas of weakness
@@DonGeorgevich Your tips have actually help me make a good impression on my interviewer today. Simple greetings, smiles, confidence,... really made a difference. Thank you so much, Don.
How to follow up with an employer when you don't get the job, but were seriously considered (ex. Second Interview), that should things not work out with the person hired, that you would still be interested in the role.
i suggest asking the hiring manager if he/she minds if I follow-up in 4-6 weeks to see if anything has changed. and then just keep calling and emailing, not pestering, but in a constructive way that shows you want to work there
@@DonGeorgevich Thank you very much for the suggestion Don. Once I received an email from the hiring manager that although my experience was impressive (I made it to 2nd interview, which I am very proud of), they decided to go with someone with a stronger background. I replied thanking them for considering me for the role. He stated in his message that he thinks I would be a good fit for the company, and that they are always hiring and to check back periodically for future opportunities. I mentioned in my email that if anything changed, to feel free to contact me, since I would be interested. I also wished them well with the new member on their team. Thanks again Don. I very much enjoy learning from your videos!

Hi Don, thanks man, watched all the videos, read the question prepared 99%, at the interview (Video call panel of two, Controller & Assistant Plant Manager), after answering the first question "What do you know about the company and why did you apply to this position?" (Researched the company very well) he asked if I have any questions, so I started to ask thoughtful questions related to the position and processes, he did most of the talking answering my questions, what does that mean? it is a seiner position. Thank you again
The video is very informative, l am into interview coaching and watching your videos has really inspired me. As a youtuber still growing what do l need to improve?
Don, I got your book, nd I am reading through it, but I don't see questions that could help me with ethical jobs like child protection services or family violence services. Could you do something specific about that?
Don,I have 16 years of banking experience behind me and want to move in a little different direction. I am really interested in accounts payable clerk, billing clerk,or even a accounting clerk. How can I get the experience or training? Do you think I should just apply for one of these clerk positions w a staffing agency so I can get some training?

I do that often and it has never benefitted me.....
I think it's not necessary to ask the employers about your application process. If they don't contact you within 1 week . Just jump on other vacancies

Hey Don! Do you have any videos or advice on negotiating your position to be remote/hybrid?
Thanks for the awesome work you do!
Not yet, but I think that's a tough sell and in most cases, probably not negotiable.

Is it ok to bring notes into the interview with me? And can I write things down during the interview?
absolutely, yes.
Thank you. I have an interview tomorrow and have been binge watching your videos as well as researching their website. Here goes everything!! 😊

@@lisarivera5708 congrats!
Tried all that, but still didn't get anywhere. Here in the UK, hiring managers suffer from "analysis paralysis"
keep trying
It’s funny interviews are literally about how fake and good you can twist lies to make yourself seem better 😂
I've had a very aggressive interviewer and it threw me at that time. Someone else told me about drinking that glass of water afterwards!
I have an interview tomorrow morning at 11...
Would you really want to work for a hiring manager that is a hard case? You’re getting a taste of what life at that company is going to be like.
people do
Thank You for this video!!!!!
