Morning Chris! Doing things one handed, definitely makes it more challenging. Nice work.🍻👍🌴

Thanks for this video Chris 👍🏻, I didn’t think it was that easy to make the conversion. I think it might get added to my list of things to do. Have a great one Chris 🙋🏼‍♂️🙂👍🏻

LED is the way to go! Fluorescents loose so much of their light output in just the first year. You won't regret it!

      I think you're right! Thanks for watching. 👍 😎

Great modification. A while back we were planning to do the same thing but in the end we replaced the complete fixture with 2 foot square LED flat panels

Great idea on the warning. I was just thinking about that. I put in a couple of tube replacement but they were designed to work with the ballast

Nice. Yeah, some are and some aren't as I understand it, and it may also depend on which type of ballast and possibly if the "tombstones" are shunted? You can see my depth of actual knowledge is pretty shallow.
But hey, it made it easy to keep the video short for a change! 😉👍😎

So you didn’t have to change the tombstones? Just took out the ballast and rewired. Huh, wanting to do it as well thanks.

There are different options, but I think as long as you get bulbs with the end connectors that match your fixture you are good to go. Also, depending on your ballast and the LEDs, some don't have to rewire/remove the ballast at all. Although it seems like that would negate the energy savings, but that is just an assumption on my part...I have no actual facts to support it.

always prefer the LEDs to tubes, I've had 12 foot tubes break while we have been changing them not fun. 🤣
