Love this!... What key is the instruments in?... Great work!
Been looking forever for an Anglo mid english early english tune like Heilung/Skald does. Most are really boring and religious songs. This was great!!
Why did our ancient language die out
Fabulous!
Absolutely love this; happen to have this on Spotify?
what a beautiful language 🥰
Beautiful just absolutely beautiful.
LMAOOO
I had no idea Anglo Saxons had music like this. Thank you.
The text is in Middle English but the lyre is the Anglo Saxon variant, so it’s called an Anglo Saxon lyre
Jesus Christ the sovereign God loves you 😊 I hope you can have a wonderful relationship with the Holy Trinity who miraculously healed me of my chronic breathing issues that plagued me for years on a near nightly basis if not every single night
God did this healing instantaneously within a group anointed prayer over my health, doing what nothing else would for years
@@joshua2400 please stop
That is beautiful and amazing to hear! God is truly Good and Merciful!@@joshua2400
You deserve to get work in films etc.. amazing obsessive work, singing in the original language with original instruments.
Could you include the lyrics and, if possible, their translation? Thank you!!!
Criminally underrated!!
They need to add you to the Witcher series soundtrack for season 3. This sort of thing would fit right in imo.
Amazing musicianship and timing...love the solo.
Absolutely incredible work! You've earned yourself another subscriber, my friend! 😊💖💎🎶🎶🎶
What a pure voice.
Maybe your best work. Superb.
Is this a 6-course lute?
Must you grow your right fingernails out to play the lute?
Miri it is while þe song ilasts...
Bravo Bryan !!!
Amazing
Wonderful, albeit with a bit too much added reverb for my taste. The lute solo at 1:57 adds an arabic flair to the song.
How is it Arabic?
@@WarfightersWorkshop An ancestor of the lute is the arabic oud, and the oud is still today played with a quill (plektrum). The lite solo seems to be inspired by improvisations of modern day oud virtuosos.
@@ludustestudinis There are other iterations of the lute. We know the Ancient Egyptians and Greeks used them, just because someone is playing a lute that does not mean it is Arabic.
@@WarfightersWorkshop Brian plays the oud, too, and also learnt to improvise on it in an appropriate style. In the present video he translated parts of this experience over to the lute. That is what I meant with "Arabic flair".
Absolutely magical.
thank you--that was just lovely!
WOW! That was mesmerizing.
You Heritage awakening ?
