Keep a close eye on the turnbuckles .. they do loosen up. I just did a similar build using a 2022 4dr Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road and a 4wheel Camper ... Swift model.
You give it different names in each Country blend in. For example Mexico it's "macho taco". In the ME it's Jihadi taco....BTW if you're an American and traveling overseas just tell people you're a Canadian. That's what i do it's far safer. I have the 18 TRD 4x4 Off Road Access cab it's been a good truck so far besides the brakes= i have had the front rotors turned twice already and only at 40K😡. I live in the mountains part time so that definitely doesn't help. I would make sure your brakes are beefed up especially the rotors and pads on the front. Heat dissipater rotors the best you can afford is my advice..Better do this stuff back in the rear vs out in the field. GOOD LUCK!

That is a good idea, I'll try to incorporate more of my motivations in my upcoming videos -- everyone has a different story and path but it is important to share the whys, appreciate you taking the time to write to me
No to both for a few reasons: 1) the off chance I do get stuck, I rather have a local who knows the terrain and how to properly use a winch help me. 2) I do not want my truck to be overloaded for my entire journey on the off chance I might get stuck. 3) I rather save the thousands of dollars I would spend on a winch and enjoy the travel to the max. 4) this type of travel is about the travel not wheeling 5) I don't drive at night and have never understood the obsession with lights lol plus I do a lot of night photography so it needs to be pitch black.

@@HifromAshley Sadly i don't have a snorkel on my truck and don't know what your setup is on your truck...I would want it drag flow inwards....it's good you have the snorkel you're probably going need it! I smashed my tailgate during a river crossing because i didn't have a snorkel!!! the dent is still there!
hmm well I don't know the last time the truck went over 50 mph, its important to remember I am NOT driving in the United States on interstate roads.I trust the professionals who installed the snorkel, did so properly. I have seen thousands of snorkels, never adjusted inward....

Siiii exactamo!!! Was able to find a beautiful camp spot in a lovely field full of wildflowers. Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the complete peace of nature and the bustling steam from Pope. Oaxaca, Chiapas, and the Yucatan to see friends before heading to Belize

Camper is bolted down through the bed. Turnbuckles barely move now. Maybe once a month one requires a quarter turn

@@HifromAshley Hopefully Toyota updated the rotors on your 22-3 truck....it's going to cost me next time.....because after two rotor turns that's it.

should be readjusted to be where? Lower to suck in sand and dirty air from off roading?
