Born and raised in the US but have been traveling full time since the end of 2019 so I've moved away from using freedom degree and use what the rest of the world uses: celsuis

Thank you! Depends on what you want to see, what you want to do and if you will have a car. Mostly people from La Paz will go to LV for day trips or weekend adventures. However there are not many collectivos or regular buses going back and forth. If you are renting a car or will have a car, I would suggest LV for the majority of the time but still carve out time to explore La Paz

The world is full of beautiful people and different cultures. There is enough room to love and appreciate each for who and what they are. LATAM is one of my favorite places to be in the world

Such an incredible experience! Acatenango and Fuego are also quite popular to visit. To each their own. I went to Pacaya with all highly experiences Guatemalans and there were no cautions or concerns ... should be noted I was not in 'tourist' areas I was wild camping

Agree with you there. Sometimes there is a great discovery to be had when you’re feeling lonely. To discover what you need and then put that into your life. Oh yeah, especially overlanding, someone to split the work would be a great help 😅

Rainy season is normally June - November (this was the end of December) every person was shocked with the constant large amounts of rain during this time and in the regions

Belize was the most expensive country to enter. However, food was on the lower side. Guatemala cost of living is very reasonable esp if you stick to buying local foods, coffee and good. If you purchase all imported items it will of course come at a higher cost. Gas is very expensive outside of the US

lol wow where to start, as a woman who has lived and traveled almost all of Mexico many times over the years everything you just described is all fear mongering media nonsense. There are no 'act of revenge' or people that don't want to see red, white, and blue lol just wow. People in Mexico are some of the best people I have met anywhere in the world. I was raised in the US where there is non stop flow of violent acts and loss of life for little to no reason ex a teenager lost life bc of being in the wrong driveway picking up a sibling / a woman lost life bc a search warrant was done at the wrong address. I understand living in a country like the US where violence in constant, more school shootings than days of the year. These thoughts and comments about MX is just comical to me at this point. PS the US has more missing people, kidnappings, murders etc at no point am I risking my life in Mexico -- to be honest I avoid the US bc it is the most dangerous

@@HifromAshley to be honest I didn't know much about it, so I looked it up on B.A.H.A's website and usually got it processed by sending my pets veterinary records via email and that gets the process started I then specify where I will pick up, either at the border or airport I will be arriving at, I either get the one entry pass or pet passport depending on my itinerary, the 14 days they ask to enter Belize I find it common as I have been asked the same by Mexico i actually had to turn back once for a vet certificate for my pet to enter Mexico, but to be honest i have never had an issue except that one time in Mexico but when they see she's a Frenchie they just approve her entry 🤭. Sometimes I even wonder why I go through the Hassel to get the vet paperwork as they Never look at it as they are busy playing with my Frenchie 😂😂.

@@rickyalcoser6052 sounds similar to what I had to do to bring my dog to Belize from Mexico. Maybe the Pet passport is for those who enter and exit more often? It would be so great if they had legal passports for crossing all borders .. it is quite exhausting running around and jumping through all the hoops to do exactly as you say just play with the cute doggies. In 10 border crossings only the vet in Panama REALLY checked my dog. Not a single government agent has every checked my dog, just collect the paperwork and money.

@@HifromAshley yeah probably I stay for around 5 months when I'm off then head back to work so sometimes I travel around and get the pet passport to enter Belize without hassle. But like you said ALL they do is collect that money and play with the doggies, but I get one question A LOT and that is if frenchies are couch potatoes 😮‍💨, they are not, well mines ain't 😂. But I always check and call when possible or via email ahead wherever I'm going to go. Best of luck and safe travels.
