We go to Yellowstone a couple times a year and we always hit the gate at 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. Best advice ever but the odds of you getting a map early in the morning are very slim because there's no one ever working the gates you just drive right in. We have a season pass so there's no issues but I don't know how that works without season pass holders but this year we did not get a map

Early is a game changer!! 7 am is already minute wait to enter 😑 this was my first time at Yellowstone NP and I could not believe the amount of cars 😵‍💫

Yeah going early is simply the best way to do it. Also have a pass, but people without passes are allowed into the park legally as long as they enter when they aren’t at the gate.

@@chrisrenemans5026 agreed, early is so much better. Plus nothing better than coffee and sunrise at Yellowstone. Oh, I didn’t know that they didn’t need a pass, I always get the yearly pass so no worries for me

Spectacular photography of Old Faithful and the Milky Way. Very helpful information going to keep this in mind when I go to Yellowstone. I would love to see wolves in a natural setting.

I could stay there every night for the Milky Way, just incredible. I think the winter time would also be incredible

The night sky is so amazing if you can get away from all the human light pollution. I have always thought it to be the most beautiful and awe-inspiring thing one can experience.
