      FYI - 🗯️ for anyone that might consider buying a coffee for Tiffany, or for anyone else on RUclips:
      They surprise you with charging a fee on top of your donation without warning. There’s no indication whatsoever of that when you approve the amount. It just shows up as a higher charge on your bank account.

    First time I saw somebody actually have a ply separate!!! It does it to me all the time! Any tips??

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  8 месяцев назад +1

      Great question! Some tips I have come across are try using a larger crochet hook. Apparently thinner crochet hooks have that pointier tip that can easily separate yarn plies. You could also try using a wood crochet hook. The friction of the hook might help you to grab the whole yarn so it doesn't split. Try those to see if they can help. 😊❤️🧶

  • @GreenvilleTreasures
    @GreenvilleTreasures Год назад +1

    Hoping you will see this 😊 The bead stitch is beautiful and is easier than it looks however, 5 rows down in my project, it looks like the stitch fell apart. Is this because I didn't grab all 7 loops? Or? Is there a way to fix this, or do I need to rip?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Год назад +1

      Great question! That sounds like some of the loops were missed unfortunately. Hmm, the easiest answer would be to go back and fix it which is a major bummer, I know. The only other thing you could do is slip a yarn strand in those loops and pull them together to look cohesive with the rest of the stitch. Then tie a knot and weave in your ends well into the row to hide the yarn strand. I hope this helps! Happens to us all. ❤️🧶

    Do we need to stay with the 5.5 Hook for our Temperature Blanket or change for the pattern?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Год назад +1

      Great question Sandra! Hopefully you are using the same type of yarn for the whole project. We will want to use the same crochet hook size for the entire project. Yes the stitches will change but we will keep everything else the same. 😊🧶🧡

    Looks very elegant….but if I make an afghan would it be even mor slanted…..or crooked looking ?

    • @CrochetWithTiffany
      @CrochetWithTiffany  Год назад +1

      I tested out my theory of starting with a chain count multiple 2 + 1, allowing each stitch to have its own stitch space, and it really helped the sides to straighten out. Give that a try. Maybe add 2 rows of Sc stitches between bead stitches to really structure the bead stitch to be straight. And you should be good! 😊🧶❤️

      There are actually many patterns that are slanted. It’s a matter of if you are willing to block it or add a border around it to shift it back or not.
