Phyllis Stokes Of course Phyllis :) The AC unit is actually a 9500BTU. The mattresses are tatami mats, many traditional Japanese homes use them as flooring and lay out futon mattresses on top of them at night to sleep on.
Out of all the tiny houses I've seen I like this the best. I could happily live here. All the light, neutral colours. There aren't many (or any as far as I know) tiny houses here in England. I'm off to watch the rest of your videos now. Good luck :)

We got the birch one but painted the legs and drawers white, and stained the top. Very handy! How is the spacing on your range burners? Are you able to freely use more than one at a time? I know some have complained of constrained space for some of the smaller appliances.

How did you all finance you THOWs or did you have the funds? Only if you care to share info. Funds are my biggest problem, but working on it. I hope to be living in mine within two years.
lori krafft When we first got it I struggles at switching the doors for hours, but due to a manufacturing problem it couldn't be done :'( And at the time we just wanted to be done so that's the way we left it :)
What do you guys do for grey water? Where do you put the urine that separates in your composting toilet? Do you have a compost pile that you empty it into every two weeks or do you throw it in a composting garbage bin?

Have anything in mind?:) Also, love your house! Looks so spacious and cozy. I am RURAL!! Not sure exactly where they are but most rural areas have to deal with satellite internet. According to where you are and what you call rural, some places around here do get AT&T service in the smaller towns. Satellite is OK, but you are limited on your downloads. Hope this helps a bit.

What's the width of your bathroom? That's the composting toilet and sink/cabinet combo I'm looking at and was getting nervous about there being enough room.

You should be able to reverse the hinges on that fridge so that it's easier to get into.

Thank you :) it cost us a little over $20,000. Our loft is 9 feet long and 7'2 wide. Plenty of space up there!

make sure you guys some the mattress off the tatami mats every once in a while or it could create mold and ruin the mats
