Let me know what you think of the review and Qantas business class. Would you fly Qantas on the Kangaroo Route?
Comment, like and share. And please do subscribe for future reviews.
Qantas is great and that business class flight looked amazing. I can't wait to fly QF1 and 2 later this year in premium economy as it looks excellent.
It looks very good. I expect it will get even better later in 2024 as Qantas starts taking delivery of its brand new A350-1000s (part of Project Sunrise) which will offer non-stop flights to London and Paris from Sydney and Melbourne. Its new business class will feature private suites with a door (similar to Qatar's Q-suites) and I am very much looking forward to that.
I'm living in Queensland, Australia, and I'm happy to make the transfer in Singapore. Still, I would rather take Singapore Airlines and Lufthansa (if visiting European continental countries) than take the Qantas. But I will reassess Qantas after they have added WiFi onboard services to their international flights.
I appreciate your comprehensive and relaxed presentation. Safety video certainly captures attention with the “welcome to country” introduction. Loved it.
That breakfast certainly looks better than any Business Class breakfast we've had. Not a chicken sausage in sight. Winner!
The scrambled eggs were the best bit. Often the eggs can be congealed. But these were great.
Just returned on the London-Perth-Melbourne route in business class last week and had the very same menu you did London to Singapore. I had the fish too - lovely - and totally agree that the breakfast (and eggs especially) was superb.
An intelligent review and the schematics were a clever addition. No mention of turbulence but those drinks seemed to rock throughout.Good to hear more about the travel experience as well as thoughts about dining.
Thanks for the comment. There wasn’t too much turbulence overall, but a few rocky patches.
What amazing flights, presented so well and informative. Thank you so much!
Thank you. Such a nice comment, which is always appreciated 😎
Qantas Was My First Wide Body Air Craft Experience London-Melbourne In1998 On B7474-400.Great Trip Report
Great video thanks. Food looked ordinary.
Ovaj video samo potvrdjuje moje ubedjenje da Qantas nema dobar ketering i izbor hrane.Prilicno siromasno i jednostavno i jos na platou....Prezentacija prilicno povrsna .....
Nice review. Thank You.
Thanks for watching!
Another cracking report thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏
Great review!
Thanks! 🙏
Great video ✈
Glad you enjoyed it! 😎
A great vlog and very useful as am flying for the first time with Qantas from LHR to Perth on the dream liner and then back from Sydney on the 380 shortly. I have flown a lot on the 380 with BA and always select the first row upstairs.
Excellent video Anthony. The quality of the videos and the reviews get better each time. Thanks for the wonderful preview of Qantas Business Class A380
Thank you 😎
Good video and review. Thanks for sharing. Qantas and BA still have a long way to go to reach the gulf carriers standards. The staff are always decent enough though.
Thanks for watching!
I Love Qantas
Excellent video.
I envy your traveling experience 😁
I have never tasted an international flight.
It's something I 'm daily praying about.
Thanks 🙏
A lots of the flying is through the smart use of miles redemptions etc. Credit cards and even supermarket shopping can help accumulate those points. So it’s not as unachievable as you might think.
@@DoorsToAuto thank you so much sir for this information and for giving me hope to taste soon what you 're enjoying 🙏💪😁👍
A good review thank you. I did this trip in reverse last year. I wish there was more lounge time in SG especially for having a shower without rushing. QF have a good business class product but they are quite expensive especially if you book online with them on their website. And chapeau to you for respecting dry January when you were flying business class, I certainly couldn’t resist the temptation!
Thanks for the comment. Fortunately Dry January had ended before the return trip 😀
Hi! I really do enjoy the tripreports you make in business class and first class, because i probably would never be able to do it cuz of the cost!😊
Glad you like them! 🙏
well, little privacy in BC and very small TV screens also. A bit oldfashioned already. But I am a great fan of Harry Potter!
Looks very nice! Enjoyed the schematics too. Very expensive though compared to other carriers UK>Aust, is it worth it? Open question!
Excellent review. Thank you.
I watched a Qatar first review before this. My pride was high when your Qantas biz review beats Qatar first. Interesting that at least one of those Finnair flights is a Qantas wet lease for additional Syd flights to Sin and also BKK.
Great video, I'll be travelling to and from Australia via Qantas business over the next 2 weeks. It looks much improved from the last time I was down under. Fingers crossed I get the same quality/service you had. The food the last time I travelled on Qantas was the worst I've ever had on any airline even in economy.
Thanks 🙏 Safe travels and enjoy the flights.
Hope you enjoyed the 380 experience, it may not be new to you but it's something any longhaul flyer should try, Qantas seem to be returning from their lows but food quantity and presentation looked pretty ordinary and that 2nd breakfast service looked poor, for the price paid I would of hoped for more and travelling in dry Jan was a mistake :) Lounges looked good, I wonder how would BA compare.
They’ve always been a good airline in all classes. Not the best but well above average. The launch of non stop flights to East coast Australian cities will give them a real edge. I’ve never enjoyed the Far East change overs as I’m usually tired.
Totally agree, I’ve always had a good service from Qantas.
Thank you for your review. This refreshes my memories of the same QF2 business class flight I had in November 23. I was sitting on the same seat 11K too. The only criticism I made for my flight was limited option of food for the dinner departing Heathrow which only had a main and dessert. It is nice for Qantas to include a starter and appetizer courses similar to day flight. Agreed that the hearty breakfast I had was great as yours prior landing in Changi. Your flight arrived 1 hour earlier than schedule and you should go to Qatar Premier Lounge instead of Qantas Business lounge as Qatar is first class standard and I had a top notch steak before hoping back to my flight to Sydney. Also welcome to see choice of dessert in the second leg as there was no choice on my flight at all. My flight was as great as yours, however I used my point to redeem it and rather paying with a high cost as there are better airlines on this route with better hard and soft products. My next flights are 2 mid haul on SQ business class and I am looking forward to comparing it with my Qantas J Class experience.
Thanks for the comment 😎
Thank you for the novel schematics. Having travelled on Qantas since Noah was a pup, I must admit that their food/ drinks routine has not changed. Business travellers know to eat well in the various world lounges and have a drink on board and go to sleep especially the last 7 hours. Nothing novel, it is like a bus service going home, prefer the direct flight LHR to Melbourne via Perth.
Thanks for the comment. With hindsight on the second leg I would have been better to stock up in the lounge. But then I wouldn’t be able to film the onboard experience.
I agree the London Perth route is far better, but always seems to be a lot more expensive.
LOVE those Menus.
Did you really pay over £7K for this flight/s
??
I like your style of review, factual and to the point, with no waffle. As for the flight, well, not a patch on the creme de la creme of Emirates, was it?
Thanks for the comment. Agree Emirates is great but for my trip I needed to stop off in Singapore, which would have meant a double hop from London.
@@DoorsToAuto I was commenting on the delights of you flying with the Qantas experience, not on your choice of route. Personally, if I wanted to get to Australia via Singapore then I would choose Singapore Airlines, but I suppose you had your reasons for the way you went.
😊🎉🎉🎉
Seems expensive compared to the Gulf carriers, great vid though, newbie here. Thanks
Thanks for the comment. 🙏 I think it was more expensive than usual as I was flying to Australia just as their school summer holidays ended, so peak demand.
Do u pay 4 drinks in the lounge area?
No. Everything was complimentary
Liquor booze champagne is ok. But - nope, can't eat beef. LOL
As a long-time high volume and distance flyer on both Qantas and Emirates on business and economy, the quality of Emirates far exceeds Qantas. I stopped flying Qantas once I had experienced Emirates. And I have not reverted!
Expensive ticket
Ordinary food
Qantas have a long way to go to catch up to Singapore Airlines Business class,
I did look at Singapore as an option for this trip. They were way more expensive.
Singapore Airlines has a very long way to catch up to Qantas' safety record.
A “fridge fall of drinks and snacks”? That’s because you can’t find any cabin crew between the fixed meal service! Dated interior/tiny TV screen/ making your own bed - I could go own but any of the ME carriers do it far better.
Have to say, not a good as the old shell seats.
Not sure what has happened to the captions but the spelling is woeful, inclding QANTAS spelt at least a couple of different ways, both wrong.
They’ve been auto generated by RUclips. I going to edit them now!
Inclding ?
seat looks narrow
I am not a fan of airline food offerings as I dislike what I would call 'fancy food' using ingredients I would never eat but those meals looked great and would have been my choices (other than blue cheese and diet coke). Looked like a good product from QANTAS... shame they don't go anywhere I would care to visit. Great review
Odd announcement was intended to remind passengers with children & babies that putting them to sleep on the floor was & is endangering the child. If the aircraft hits turbulence it can cause the child or baby to bounce causing injury. It’s a big no no to place children & infants on the floor of an aircraft as they are not secure.
I understand the issue. However, Qantas is the only airline I’ve flown who found the need to make an announcement.
@@DoorsToAuto probably because it was an issue on the particular flight.
you misprounced tomato
You like potato and I like potato
You like tomato and I like tomato
Potato, potahto, tomato, tomahto
Let's call the whole thing off 😉
The food looked underwhelming, for over £7k. There are too many better choices on this route.
I disagree, it looked like edible food, well presented... too many airlines offer damp and bland fancy food that most people would never eat. Usually pretentious crap that is chef inspired and made in am industrial estate. Simple food done right should always be the starting point of good service and value and not warmed up slop
downside... no wifi!!
For some it could be a downside. But it was quite nice being switched off for 24 hours.
I’ve heard that QANTAS is waiting for the introduction of a new more reliable inflight system being introduced this year and strangely I have also heard that it may be at no additional cost to passengers 🤞🏻. QANTAS hasn’t been my choice for the last few years but I’ll be using their business class service from Australia to LA later this year and hoping for better things.
Spoiled by the text on the video. Spelling and grammar errors.
Thanks. They were auto-generated by RUclips. I’m going to edit them now.
Looks like qantas have continued their downgrading of meal quality poor stuff!
That food looked better than anything else I have seen offered. It wasn't using sloppy chef inspired garbage that everyday people would NEVER eat.
Why did you show the acknowledgment of country when it has nothing to do with this video and nothing to do with the safety video? Of all things to show from the inflight video, you show that. Politically motivated. Stay in partial if you are doing a flight review.
I showed the flight experience. The acknowledgment of country formed part of the safety video. To remove that from the review would not be an impartial act.
Acknowledgement of country is respectful and lovely 😊
@@saab340driver it’s an over kill the way it has been portrayed. At official government events, it’s fine. Landing into another city airport within Australia, no.
@@timtam20292considering indigenous peoples culture of 60,000 years have been absolutely destroyed in the last 235 years, having some respect and acknowledgement is a good thing.
I guess I’m not offended by everything though…
