After you find her new body and go back to her chained one, if you DONT see the guy there to continue the quest, go back to redmane castle and talk to the guy inside. After you talk to him the next time you go back to her chained body the guy should be there. Hope this helps anyone who ran into the same problem as me

I think once you have the powerful Spell like Azur Comet, you need unlimited Mana to fully achieve its potential. There are a mixture that enable you to use any spells without FP in 15 sec, which is a must obtain case for you to use Azur Comet for 1 shot any boss. The mixture is at the minor tree near where you find Azur. At the grace point where you find Azur, there is a pillar of rock for you to passing through to the opposite site of that mountain.
Go there, you will find a pack of wolfs, igrone them any keep pushing forward, and turn left to go to another mountain, there you will have to go up at least 3 nos of ladder, to the top. Igrone the Doggie boss there, and find a safety place to jump down the hill, you should go toward the map pillar of this location. At the map pillar, keep going toward the minor tree, where you will have to defeat a tree worn like boss (you can summon and ride horse to do so). Kill it and you will get the 15sec. unlimited mana mixture.
Enjoy the spell’s full strength.
I just got it a couple of hours ago had to time the unlimited FP I believe that's enough time to spam comet Azur twice

Lusat’s glintstone staff pairs beautifully with the talisman that decreases fp cost to the detriment of max hp. It makes fp cost back to neutral and only costs about 100hp.
What is that talisman?
@@siongreul it’s the Primal Glintstone Blade.
I was also slightly incorrect it doesn’t put cost back to neutral, Adula’s Blade for example has 26fp base, 39fp with Lusat’s staff. If you put the talisman on too it costs 30fp so it’s still really strong.
@@darthuchiha9870 Lusat's Staff increases it by 50%. The Primal Glintstone Blade reduces it by 25%. Overall, it's indeed still a more costly casting, but nowhere near as expensive as without the Glintstone Blade talisman

So imma break the whole narrative I've tested it and lusats staff is bugged and is pointless because it only increases fp cost not spell damage it's super high scaling also seemingly has no effect on spells compared to other lower scaling staves like the carian regal scepter
Can confirm that you don’t need to hand in the scrolls or get the great ruin for rebirth to talk to azur. Just go to him and he’ll give the spell and start the quest when telling sellen

These guides work for spellblade builds if they're mixing sorceries (I just started using gravity spells for ranged combat and dual Katana for melee)
Fun fact if you want light without a spell or a torch you can buy a lantern from one of the traveling merchants. Amazing item
So you do actually have to defeat radahn first. Once you complete this quest up to rebirthing her into a new body, you go back and talk to the old man back at the castle, and he will speak of unattended business. Then you return to her original body and he's there. Then finally you can choose to fight her or him. I just tried finishing it and found this out.

For those who cannot find Jerren in Redmane Castle Church/Witch Bane Ruins AFTER defeating Radahn.and reviving Sellen in Ranni's rise. You can move to Royal Library to check the summon signs, seems like it is not really crucial to speak to Jerren

Can you please give me more details i can't find him after reviving her in at her old body or in the castle I already beat that boss and the lion and knight boss when going back to the castle he's nowhere to be found. I went to the library where you respec and I can't see anything there either??
Btw for the crystal enemies, just use night maidens mist, it kills em very quickly cause it doesn’t care about defenses

Okay, just letting people know, if you killed the sorceress, you can still give the scrolls to an npc in the Church of Vows and still have the spells it gives along with this questline. You will have to use a celestial dew for her to talk to you again.

Just a heads up, you absolutely DO NOT have to kill the 2nd boss OR do anything with 3 scrolls. I haven't done any of that, and I'm in this area and have gotten the spell. I have only killed Godrick. To open the lift, just simply put in both halves of the medallion and the Dectus lift works.
I got the azur spell without having killed a enemy I just made my way there running through the fortress’ too get the medallion and than going straight for spell still haven’t killed Margit the fell

@@acidunicorn1225 the blue doors you get past by lighting the flame in the bell towers, and the blue door in selia hideaway you get the key from senna the sorcerer teacher

Just to let everyone know, I had problems with putting the gem in her new body. Talk to the announcer at where you killed Radan and then rest. I did from morning til noon and it worked for me

I respecced a bit so I could get to the minimum Int required for Azur and Lusat's staves. Both can be handy in plenty of situations. Faster casting speed if you're facing a pack with Azur's staff, or against a boss with Lusat's damage boosting passive
You can equip both to get both effects as well.

@@Tekke334 you have to go into the academy of raya lucaria, located in liumia of the lakes (the swampy region). It's northwest of limgrave past castle Godfrey.
I believe there's a road to bypass to castle but you'll have to look it up.

I gave the 3 scrolls to the turtle cuz he doesn’t die. Works better and probably not necessary for her to continue.
Just in case anyone is wondering... If you have killed Radahn and the announcer is not at either location go straight to the academy and the summons will be available.

There is a support spell that boosts damage by 30 or 35%, called Terra Magicus or something like that.
Need to get the unlimited FP and spell damage boost mixes. Unlimited FP is at volcano region Tree, don't remember the other (sorry. I just noticed I had it after a few of the trees)
Get the ash of war: determination, put it on a light weight/crap weapon, use determination but DON'T attack with instead use your spells. It gives a 60% damage boost for 10 seconds. It's dropped by a beetle on the west side of the bridge that is just west of waypoint ruins (has a Night's Calvary there)
I heard Azur's set boosts his spell damage but I haven't tested it even though I have it. Even without it the above information puts you at 95% more damage not including the mix.
Without using the mix and using all of the above. Comet Azur does about 8k damage in 3 seconds.
Good luck. Have fun with this info! Just keep in mind Determination will probably get nerfed or patched as I believe that the effect was not intended to happen with spells.
FYI - For those trying to figure out why you cannot put the gem into her new body I will tell you what worked for me. I followed all of the steps in the comments below but even after talking to the announcer sitting in the chair in the tower where you took the elevator down I still couldn’t place the gem in. I rested and tried multiple other things and still couldn’t. However, after I went back to his castle to see if I needed to talk to the announcer again I had to walk through a mist and fight 2 bosses at the same time.
This was no easy fight as it was a werewolf looking dude who was fairly quick and once you got him down to like 25% health the 2nd boss joined which just so happened to be a crucible knight. Once I beat these bosses and went back to her body I was able to place the gem in.
For those who do not find that guy in the church sitting on the chair
and the witch in the ruins doesnt talk to you:
you have to port to the academy where you fought rennala, behind rennala is a large door, you need to pass it.
then you fight an invasion with her against jerren.
after that you have to port to primeevel sorcerrer azurs point, (pretty far up left on the map, you were there once, its where you got the comet azur skill) turn around and there is the set.
Is it in the grand library? I don’t see a door behind her. Help please

I might have killed sellen😅. I found her chained to a wall before finding the room with "her summon", so i didn't know she had such a weird helm and i tought it was mold growing on her face so i tried to hit her with a torch to cleans her and once she got mad at me i had to kill sellen.
Yeah I did the same thing. Thankfully if you use a celestial dew in the church of vows it will reset her.

@Brook The Soul King Yeah it scared me since I was doing a Sorcerer build and thought I was fucked LUL also ps. You can give the scrolls to the npc in the church and still get the spells from him.

I actually liked that NPC except I needed a one shot build
A few tips:
- Should you hit Sellen at any time during the quest, you may not be able to progress any further. You will need to repent at the Church of Vows.
- You MUST defeat Radahn for this questline to fully unlock.
- After defeating Radahn, you must speak to the announcer and exhaust his dialogue. He will be sitting at the entrance of the church.
Which church are you talking about? Cant find the announcer after beating Radahn.. people saying it's in Redmane castle
@@jeausy In this case, both statements are true. There is a church within Redmane castle - it's just not one of the typical churches you see in the open world. It should be just beyond where the announcer used to be, where a huge building lies with a chapel inside. Going up the steps from where other warriors listened should get you close enough for you to see (actually, just continue walking straight ahead after the steps and I think you will run into him).
Please note, you need to beat Redahn for this.
As you’re going up the hill to the hermit village there’s a troll guarding a magma spell I was able to pick it up quickly as I was discovering this area today.
1. TIPP: If the arena grandpa isnt int the cells you need to go back to castle redmane and talk to him a few times then go back and he should be there. and if you have the problem that Sellen isnt in her first place where she should normally be go to the church of Vows and reset npcs with celstial dew

Does the dew revive White Faced Varre? I killed him, used dew, but haven't seen him anywhere.
@@xshadowxsoldierx if you mean the guy with the white mask that stood at the start, look in the swamp region (Liurnia) there is a Church of Rose or similar like that there he is in front of it, and in it you will encounter a little fight but nothing wild
Where in Redmane castle is he? He's not in the same spot as he was announcing the battle
If she doesn't give you her soul (8:16) you need to defeat Radahn first.
I went to kill him after that returned to her still she didn't give me her soul.
@@omaralmutairi6730 Sorry, I read that this would work. TURNS OUT IT DOESN'T! I figured out a fix for it, though:
- Kill the chained up Sellen
- Absolve yourself of sin (again, if you have to)
- Go talk to Sellen in the waypoint ruin cellar, accept her request
- You can now take her soul.
It just worked for me. Fixed it this way.

Another extremely effective use for the ambush shard spell, is it allows you to hit a targeted enemy while you hide behind cover.
I literally accidentally jumped on her in the cellar and then she attacked me LOL so the quest is f'd. Great.
My plan on becoming a power mage has gone out the window
Go to church of vows and go to the statue at the end and choose absolution, this should fix the quest (you need to have a celestial dew first)

you can also give them to the tortoise at one of the chapels which i prefer because the tortoise is much nicer to you, also if you run around the rooftops at the academy you can find a really good and cool looking crystal staff

Are you sure? I gave one of my scrolls to the tortoise, yes I can learn the spells but I cannot progress farther in the questline after finding Lusat. Someone on the Elden Ring Wiki says that this questline is disabled.
@@catman08724 no it doesn't, with the meteor staff rock sling becomes your go to spell for bosses till the endgame, mana to dmg ratio only gets outpaced by a +9 staff
is not just a "staff with S scalling" it also boost your rock sling damage by 30%

Need help: After I find lucet in the cave and he gave the stars of ruins, I go back to report to Senna. After few conversation of thanking me,she did not have the quest to ask me find her real body. I'm stuck at 7:50 there is no further quest from her.
I believe you have to beat Radahn first.
Lusats head boosts his sorcery stars of rain damage and azurs head boosts comet azure dmg, you want terra magicus so you can do more damage while in the range terras rune. Also the golden vow miracle stacks the damage. I run lusats staff regardless because damage because it’s a 408 spell scaling and S in int at only +9.
U know where to get lusats head?
Does comet azur and rogiers armor set apply? Can't find the answers anywhere.
@@DrSeuss408 not exactly sure, and turns out 99 Faith/Int the prince of deaths staff has higher scaling and damage at 25 at 448 scaling. I tested it and lusats, lusats took more FP and dealt less damage while PoD’s staff took regular fp cost and vast damage increase from lusats
A tip for those three Crystal soldiers. Use the hammer spell. It'll make them fall flat to their face and if you time out the spellcasting properly you can forever keep them looped. You will eventually need to drink more FP. But if your FP is high enough you can break their poise first bar. If you get really lucky you can trap all three of them in that loop

Azur Comet does great for some bosses, but for a lot of them, it is actually completely useless. They will easily dodge it. Considering everything you have to do for it (INT 60!), it is definitely not OP and I think there are some way more powerful combos in this game.

Idk if anyone else is having this problem but I’ve beaten Rahdhan, talked to Jerren and received her soul from Witchbane but in the ruins near rannis rise her body is there but has no prompt to receive the soul. I’ve now killed her 2 separate times to reset her via Church of Vows and nothing as happened, still no prompt. Considering u can only get her headpiece through her quest it is a little frustrating so if anyone has any ideas, lemme know.
Idk about the rest of that, but I'm also able to find her new body neart Ranni's rise, and I get no prompt to use her soul.
Go back to the castle redmane and speak with the announcer. (I also had this problem.) then go back to her shackled body and speak with him again.

She never asked me for a favor. After I told her about Lusat she gave me the shards and that was it. I even went to the ruins where her body was but I couldn’t take her soul.

FOR ANYONE STUCK WITH CAVE BOSS
Try night maiden mist it only needs 14 int and costs 20 FP
It can be bought from the sorcerer after you helped milicent
Be careful the mist rapidly eats away hp including your own if you stay in it
But this spell is really good because it's not doing magical or physical damage nor is it an element
This means bosses and enemies including EVERYTHING IN THE GAME
Have absolutely no resistance to it

You can get to Azur’s body without any of those requirements you listed by the way. I unlocked the D lift & simply made my way there very early, before Godrick.
True, if you already know the locations of both pieces you can just go directly to the lift at the start. Really interesting how the world is designed that way.
@@HatCreature I do like on how if you don't know how to open up the lift there is a different way up as well, at no point are you blocked from traveling around the world.

If you go through the canyon at the north east of the lake area, there a building with a ladder near it. Going up the ladder takes you through a mine that will take you to the top of the cliff. There is a boss before you get to the top that took me a few tries.

Spells need re worked early game spells are way better than most end game spells and some of the spells cost waaaaay too much for their damage output
Yeah most mid game spells look cool but take too long to cast and are just not worth the FP for the amount of damage they do.
You need the 15 sec unlimited mana mixture, then those end game spells like Azur comet can 1 shot most boss. Or many shot a boss depends on which you are using.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but! It is important to note if you get stuck during the transplant into her body part, you need to make sure that you returned to the place you defeated Radahn (if you haven't well good luck he's annoying) and speak to a man named Witch-Hunter Jerren, exhaust his dialogue, then you can finally transplant.
So i was able to do everything up until when i went to her chained body in the ruins i couldnt interact with her only talk to her , like i couldnt drain her soul like i did. What have i done wrong? She was saying that they gonna pay while she was chained. I was so hyped to finish the quest. I only killed rennela and godrick

Spoiler: I had to kill radahn after killing him the alive version of sellen gives u a fingerslayer blade which u have to go to the fallen star south of mistwood which leads to a hidden entrance to underground city nokron, there you have to progress through parkouring through the gigantic underground map up to a huge stone throne you can see from the distance. You have to get the hidden treasure of nokron and give it to sellen(or ranni) i forgot, after that u can progress with her story line. Also you need to talk to jerry at redmane castle (the announcer from the radahn bossfight) talk with him about everything then go back to her chained location where jerry will be too and u can progress. Its really worth doing selllen quest cause u get azur/lusat armor aswell as glintstone boosting armor set. Hope i could hep i explained bit poorly but theres lot of guides i suggest checking out rannis and sennis quest on fextralife wiki
I jumped off a cliff died and spawned to get to radahan instead of doing it the legit way I ended up killing radahan anyways but now that guy with long beard isn’t spawning where the dead sellen is. Any idea guys?

Anyone struggling with the triple boss
Here’s a trick that might not work 100%
As it requires blind accuracy
But if you have enough mana and refils you can stand against the fog wall and cast rock fling
And if you get it right you can break the armor of one or even kill one of the crystal guys before even getting into the boss room
This trick to deal with this boss is my idea but it’s a copy of someone else’s trick to deal with the Sellia crystal tunnels
Boss which is also a pain to fight so to its size and the small room it’s in
Thumbs up a million. I used rock fling to absolutely obliterate one of the dudes before I even got in there. Easy pickings after that.
To destroy the 3 crystal boss use the Blasphemous Blade and your mimic with it too and they are easy. I had the blade to +6 and it killed them so easy. It was an accident as i normally have it as my second weapon for the healing, but changed to it and didnt see, and hit them and was like WHAT?!

So I did everything up to the part where you go back to Senna's dead body but no NPC is there to talk to, also I have defeated Rennah and Radahn. Any one knows what Im missing ? Sennas new body is at Rannis Rise area but I can't seem to find the NPC next to her dead body?
go back to the castle plaza where the festeval started, go up to the throne room and talk to the NPC... his second dialog will say he has to go settle "old business"... he then appeared next to Sella's body for me. Hope this helps.
If the festival dude doesent show up near her dead body then you may have to go back to red mane castle and talk to the festival dude there. He’ll say that he’s free now and then you can go back to sennas body.
I kind of hate myself for using this to find these spells, but I knew I was on the right track searching high and low across Raya Lucaria and Sellia for sorcery: I did find a lot of the other spells during my search, too. I did skip to search for Lusat on my own, to at least preserve that exploration and discovery. Thank you for making this: I want to ask too, where can you get the sorcery Sellen uses in the fight between her and Jerren? Keeping things as vague as possible, if you can.
If I gave the tortoise a scroll in church of vows can I still complete this quest line/ get armor
Yes! I did and I now just started the quest. Gave the tortoise 2 of the scrolls. Still worked
Unfortunately I gave two of the scrolls to the turtle bishop, so I think I'm screwed

Hi guys, just letting you know that the Lusat Glintstone staff only boosts glintstone sorcery. So for example if you like to use Azurs comet (that big spell in the video} or the Stars of rain spell then the Carian regal scepter actually does more damage. I will say having both the staff's at max level {level 10} the difference is around 8-9% in Carian regal scepter's favour so it isnt a huge loss but Lusat still underpreforms. The only way to have the lusat do more dmg on every spell would be to raise strength a lot, which for a pure mage is most probably not what you want to do. I did waste a somber ancient dragon stone for this lmao but its nice to know. Btw i have max int (99) Have fun!

Heads up there is a meteorite staff in the swamp of rot at the back behind a towers window that has S scaling which I've used pretty much till the end game.
If you cannot put the gem in the new body, this means you missed a step. Head back to where you killed Radahn and move into the castle. Keep going until you find an old man in a chair. Talk to him. After you are done talking to him, go back to where you pulled the gem out of the body. That old man will show up again. Talk to him again until he repeats himself. Now go back to where the new body is just standing. You will now be able to input the gem into this new body. If you killed someone by mistake just head back to the giant turtle and give the dew to the lady in the fountain. She will bring them back from the dead.
The requirement is Radhan, for the step I was missing, she won’t tell you to meet her at witchbane until he is defeated.

If you kill the boss in the Yelough Anix Tunnel located in the lower west side of the consecrated snowfield, you get the Legendary Sorcery: “Meteorite of Astel”
This is basically Meteorite but the shots are way more concentrated, allowing you to actually use it if given the chance. Likely best used against dragons, as they get distracted easily by summons and they’re big enough to get absolutely demolished by funny rocc

Ok so I accidently killed her when I went back and picked up the star of rain because she didn’t give me her soul so I killed her now does that affect the rest of the quest?

If you can’t interact with her new body and cant find the announcer. Go back to her chained body and he should be there. Finish his dialogue then go back to her new body and try again, It should work.
So I didn't get the soul from the other body. I just heard dialog of them calling me a degenerate XD
