7:10 use "enemies cant see trough foliage" mod, it comes with gamma but needs to be enabled in mo2. More or less fixes you getting lazerd trough bushes.

They wouldn't be getting slaughtered by Sin and Monolith if they just STOPPED RUNNING OUT IN THE OPEN IN THE MIDDLE OF EIGHT OF THEM ALL SHOOTING AT YOU. I basically stopped bringing followers because they always do that and get themselves killed when I most need them. My last ones died in the middle of the playground square in Limansk, and running down a hallway in the Brain Scorcher face first into a Monolith rifle while reloading.
@@varyagace Yeahhhhh, hopefully the companion AI in Stalker 2's base game will be leaps and bounds better than what we have now. I'm honestly surprised that we haven't really seen any huge overhaul mods for companion AI but ig maybe the code for it is so fucked and/or basic that maybe there's really just no improving it. As far as Gamma goes, I find that the only way to use the companions and to save them from death, is to use the command to tell them to go passive and then sprint away from whatever you're fighting and hope that they actually listen to the command and follow you. Then re-engage and repeat this process as needed lol.
There’s a mod that NullMoxy made himself that pretty much prevents companions from dying. It’s broken yes, but at least they won’t fucking die from dumb shit

I had my first proper ironman death in army warehouses from a unsig squad :( had my nerd suit on and heard the sound of an exo suit and a regular guy running up the hill. Dead in 2 shots.
For your Nosorog, I recommend you use it and get your Ironman achievement, then go back for another attempt with stipulations such as no Nosorog. Maybe some other restrictions you’d want to include at that point too. That would be a unique video series for sure…

I just realised I’ve been watching since 2019 and only just realised I forgot to subscribe, I have failed you father. Also imma say this now, look into getting a DMR like an SVD or SR-25 or even an SA-58 or SCAR-L the bolt actions become pretty obsolete late into the game (nevermind you found one lol)
SCAR H > SR-25? I would like to know why you are not a fan of the Scar H and all of its variants. I have not actually used a SR-25 because I just see it as a SCAR H with smaller magazines and no grenade launcher (I think). Recoil is rough of course on the SCAR H but it's just meant to be a semi auto AR/Sniper. Is the recoil way better on the SR-25 or something?
It was a bug in GAMMA when it was first introduced. It didn't take too long to be hotfixed. It's supposed to have the same damage as other weapons in the same caliber
Cheeki I'm getting in a hurry commenting this and haven't watched the whole vid so it may be no big deal but at 11:30 you looted a UNISG guy that had a CZ-M10 Spartan helmet (the best in the game as I'm sure you know) and it looks like the auto-looter ate it or something because it didn't show up in your inventory. If I see it show up later in the video I'll delete this comment lol.
It's not the auto looter (I don't use it, I love organizing my loot too much xD), it's the same thing that made the nosorog armor I found in radar "disappear". I think it has to do with rank, or your survival/looting skill, if it's not high enough the game will remove items you're not supposed to get yet. I wish it wouldn't show them altogether instead of just removing them quickly, that would be less frustrating, but it's probably an engine limitation or something.
@@CheekiBreekiTv Now that you mention it I'd say you're right, probably either the progressive loot drop setting in the menu or GAMMA's skill system possibly. I'm basically at the exact same point in my playthrough on GAMMA except I found expert tools here recently in a Limansk stash lol, and I looted the spartan helmet off a monolith dude around the same time with no issues. I've still got the progressive loot drop setting turned on so apparently my stalker is a higher rank than yours or something, I'm a master right now but idk for sure what rank I was when I looted that helmet
Of course it's easy.......unless you are incredibly cheap and don't use any higher tier meds to prebuff and only heal at the last possible moment with the starter medkits. Makes for good entertainment though :)

I don't have the expert tools (yet!): that's why I had to go through the trouble of crafting the heavy repair kit with the very expensive advanced tools recipe for my armor / helmet.

A handy tip. If you give your companions backpacks it increases their carry weight by the backpack capacity

You can't get expert tools from Jupiter and Zaton stashes.
Only tier 5 maps can contain expert tools. Red Forest, Radar, Outskirts, Pripyat.
