My current Invictus run I started with just a Mosin and gas mask and quickly killed some Freedomers until I got a decent pistol to repair since you can buy an A-tier kit from the start. Btw, if you happen to do 8 missions before you get a rare stash it sets the spawn of basic tools to 99%. This only applies to rare stashes and is progression based afterwards, so advanced tools 99% after one main story line mission + 8 side missions.
I use scar all the time, without savescumming, this is how you do it without dying: 1) unequip grenades 2) unequp weapons if you are close to anyone at all 3) If the spy voices start talking, that means that scar is trying to kill you, so you need to take damage in any form to stop the psy health from decreasing - fall damage, radiation, anomaly damage, firearm, mutant, even low health limb damage when you run and it damages you beause your leg is broken. That will stop the psy health from decreasing and will reset the artifact immediately, and it will start healing you again.
Yup, number 3 is way too dangerous and random imo to be worth playing with in an ironman run. I like to chill by a campfire instead, even if it takes longer to achieve the same effect :)
@@CheekiBreekiTvany thing that is unhealthy can work,in my experience a pack of old meat is fastest, and cigarettes are slow (maybe alcohol is also fast)
Using Scar is perfectly safe, just be in some place safe and unequip all your weapons + granades and pay attention to your psy health. On top of that, I always pick up bread early game as it is free 1k rubbles from Sid. Nice vid!
If you get what I call the 'controller sound' it doesn't matter, your psy health will drain and you will die, no matter how fast you remove the artifact from your belt etc... It happens rarely, but still a risk you can't take in ironman... the only thing you can do is quickly load your last save, and as I say in the video I don't like save scumming. And if you never had the 'controller sound', just the random messing around with guns, grenades etc... you havn't used the scar enough :) Maybe there's a way to stop this guaranteed 'controller death' but I never found anything that works yet
A more difficult shift up: adding Mags Redux. But definitely agree that Invictus is a gauntlet test of skill and one's understanding of STALKER. Edit: Also, I have never in the entirety of Stalker since the OG's release thought of jumping that tractor in Cordon Farmhouse to check who owned/was stationed there. I felt like such an idiot seeing that lol. Also: sleeping is a means to restore limb condition in Gamma, regardless of Difficulty I believe. There's also a very gradual healing mechanic from fire but I feel like you know that. I've been using sleep and fire a lot more in my most recent game (same diffs, just not ironman) and it helps keep costs down on meds/saves my Yadulin for when I'm deep in the field away from safe spots that I can sit on to heal.
Love you’re content and thanks for the video on how to download stalker gamma been having a blast but be careful around 1:24-1:26 the use of the baguette to censor the curse word just now sound like the f slur.
When peeking against shotgunners like you did in Corden, next time back off from the wall. That way if someone springs around the corner you still have effective space between you two while nothing else functionally changes about the peeking (no disadvantages in other words).
nooooooo, not again, stop gamma, stop calling me. I see videos the new of gamma, the new maps, now i will play COOP with my friend and NOW this video XD i never do a Invictus Run, in my last playthrough i go Renegade and what i remember i die like 3 times (but when i touch almost endgame well :v die a lot for careless)
Man... I really appreciate the point at the 20 min mark where you decided to NOT engage with two rookie bandits... just shows how conscious you need to be around risk/potential reward and what that means on an Ironman run hahaha, making me want to try Ironman when I finish the game!
Dont be afraid to abuse scar artefact. unequip all weapons, and occasionally your cheeki will get breeki, but it's a free way to heal static health, just make sure it doesn't drain sanity to death
Mutants missions is a free money missions cuz someone will kill them anyway for u except for blood suckers and anything more dangerous and sometimes bounty missions are same
One tip from me - don't loot coins from mutants. Your knife loose too much durability for almost no gain. 7:35 why is there suddenly so many people talking about artifacts? Cash from task to bring artifacts is really random - you got 12,5k for a Battery with low %charge, while I've got 4k for 98% quality artifact (it was either Soul or Moonlight, forgot now). Another tip - assignt your Swiss Knife to either "favourite" or "junk" and hover over every item you want to dismantle. Using RMB menu lowers durability for your multitool.
Not sure why but if you use single shot mode, if you fire the same amount of bullets than in fully automatic, you usually do more damage. So unless at very close range, I always single shot tap spam now, instead of full auto fire to save ammo.
You're probably right. I think the mechanic in single shot is that 1st shot is 100% accurate, then you have to wait 1 second before it resets to 100% accuracy for 2nd shot. If you're spamming in single shot average accuracy probably works out better than auto. It's a really odd mechanic tho, everybody has been arguing about how it works since the game came out so I may be wrong?
@@papalegba6796 Yes and not sure if it is still the same in Gamma, but in the original Stalker SOC, the way the damage formula worked was that in automatic fire, the 2nd,3rd etc.. bullets was nerfed in damage compared to the first one.
@@P-Likan tbf, getting one accurately aimed shot off per second is about what a decent marksman could do so it's a realistic mechanic. Same with accuracy increasing from kneeling/lying, it's well thought out & was always my favourite fps for shooting. Haven't played it in years btw, just like watching others now.
@@papalegba6796 Indeed, I agree with you that accurately aimed shots are more lethal so it is somewhat more realistic however in real life, if the burst is accurately localized in a tight spot, for instance the upper chest, it should do the same damage as separate shots in that same location. I think this game mechanic makes SMG's a bit less effective and favours larger calibers rifles that can single shot quickly.
Hey CB is Rostok a good place to farm missions? because those people at that base barely leave it and always guarding the base, surely their missions would never expire lol

Maybe there's a way to stop this guaranteed 'controller death' but I never found anything that works yet
"Just need to make sure no one is coming on my back" 😂😂
YES! Been waiting for this day. Oh boy
absolute banger of a video
Enjoyed this very much!
Là ça devient du masochisme! Toujours un plaisir de te suivre.
Hon hon hon je suis une baguette.
baguette bonjour
I’m so happy you are posting your playthroughs! I love this game so much. I always play iron man 1 life?
Yay another Invictus from you. Will be great to watch.
Can't wait for the next parts of this series, I'm already addicted
Amazing content as always ❤
Stuttering, bushes mod , oinvictus plan , artefacts
Love you’re content and thanks for the video on how to download stalker gamma been having a blast but be careful around 1:24-1:26 the use of the baguette to censor the curse word just now sound like the f slur.
Yeah you're not the first to tell me that I'm gonna need to be more careful ahahhh
@@CheekiBreekiTv
gud luck sometime its like stepping in an anomaly
Every time I get back into the game I come here
When peeking against shotgunners like you did in Corden, next time back off from the wall. That way if someone springs around the corner you still have effective space between you two while nothing else functionally changes about the peeking (no disadvantages in other words).
I found this channel and video at the worst time… I want to binge the series but it just released!
Fresh supply of Cheeki Breeki hot off the presses!
That was the guy with the reward 😂 haha also happens sometimes to me 😅
That's what I call Hardcore play my friend
24:58 I was watching the minimap knowing this guy would rush around the corner xD
Great video man, it's nice to spend time watching your productions 😁 Pozdrawiam z Polski 💪
I NEED PART 2 CHEEKBREEK
tomorrow 😁
😭😭 okay
nooooooo, not again, stop gamma, stop calling me. I see videos the new of gamma, the new maps, now i will play COOP with my friend and NOW this video XD i never do a Invictus Run, in my last playthrough i go Renegade and what i remember i die like 3 times (but when i touch almost endgame well :v die a lot for careless)
I hope when he said attach suppressor cons will be- like time when aiming down sights and handling and not reduction in damage.
>Finds most powerful shotgun in game
"nothing interesting here"
Man... I really appreciate the point at the 20 min mark where you decided to NOT engage with two rookie bandits... just shows how conscious you need to be around risk/potential reward and what that means on an Ironman run hahaha, making me want to try Ironman when I finish the game!
Yeah boi I’d never play the game this way again as I would cry but I’ll watch it
Dont be afraid to abuse scar artefact. unequip all weapons, and occasionally your cheeki will get breeki, but it's a free way to heal static health, just make sure it doesn't drain sanity to death
i was hoping for another one of these
I've always liked your vids, just wondering what mods your using?
Basic tools that fast? SHENNANIGANS!
invictus is the main reason im still in the stalker community- so addictive to me
10:46 I NEED A BIG WHEEPOON SOOOORRR THATS A BIG BOOOLLEET SOOOR
dude, how many times i sneaked to "contract" missions like you did :D and in the end its just a reward mission :D
What are the visual settings? Any reshades? Looks amazing
@@P-Likan true, but in stalker most enemies have body armour, so head shots most effective.
My bane is death by Chimera. Immediately before getting killed. "I am pretty sure that Chimera can't jump this high." ... it did, I died.
Do it on one life! It feels like a different game. (Thank you for these.)
Hey CB is Rostok a good place to farm missions? because those people at that base barely leave it and always guarding the base, surely their missions would never expire lol
No breaks allowed, your suffering is our entertainment....
Good hunting stalker
It`s great to see new invictus run from you) 16:00 - Doesn`t changing settings prevent you from getting invictus? It was written in the beggining of the video and yet you are doing it.
You can't change the base settings of the game, changing the mods settings that GAMMA adds (or even turn some on or off) is fine
Why do you hate the swamps? Also, what’s your stalker population set to? Sorry for the questions. Really enjoying the series btw!
Great Video, keep this going
I always take the camp assault and kill the stalker missions, they often complete on their own for free loot and rep even if I don't go after them right away.
we gettin out of the fart of chernobyl with this one 🗣🗣
