What a clear and concise video for bleeding brakes on a clean car. It is understood this video is solely for changing the brake fluid and not addressing issues such as corroded or stuck bleeder fittings. Your presentation is very thorough with excellent quality. Thank you for sharing this.
Good video. The only thing I'd change is I'd only refill the master cylinder at the end to the same level it was at when you started. That way you don't have to remove fluid the next time you change brake pads.
This is correct. When replacing your brake fluid only fill the reservoir back to the level it was at when you started. When you push the caliper pistons back in it will send brake fluid back through the lines into the reservoir.
Where do the jack stands go in the back of the car? I would normally put them on the pinch wield, but since it is used to lift the car here, I am wondering a good point to put the jack stand.
It’s centered around the most efficient fluid removal in the lines drawing the least amount of new fluid while draining. The method I’ve shown is based on Hondas maintenance guidelines for this vehicle.
Just got off the phone with a Honda service center, they said they don't need to take off the tires because they have a machine that bleeds it, does this sound legit? I'm so weary of corporate service centers.
They can probably access all the bleed valves by putting the car on a lift. The machine they have probably connects to the master cylinder reservoir, so it can pump in fluid as they open each wheel bleeder valve. Basically like a garden sprayer with a pressure gauge and adapters to fit various car master cylinder reservoirs.
I wish all Accord maintenance/repair tutorials where like this! Great video
Finally a video that’s quick and to the point with no cheesy introduction lol

Thank you for clear, concise and helpful instruction.

Straight to the point! Great Videos.
Very helpful tutorial; worked on my 2021 Touring.
Any plans to make a video on doing a valve adjustment or drive belt replacement for the accord?
Wish I knew this sooner. Just paid $245 at dealer
Thank you. Very helpful
Great video! Thank you! Deserves more upvotes!
Thank you for this clear and helpful video. Do you know the size of the drain hose?

Great detailed video. 👌🏾
Out of curiousity, why do you bleed from the nearest to furthest? I was always taught the opposite but never really questioned the logic.

@@DavidStumph thanks, that makes sense. makes me want to give it a shot.
What is the best way to dispose the brake fluid ?
Can I just fill the master tank with new fluid without running the fluid through calipers? Thanks
No, to be effective you need to replace all fluid.
do i need to apply a little bit of pressure for the pump before opening the bleeder fitting every single pump or just the first time for each tire?
Every time.
It is a really helpful video!
How many pumps per caliper or what pressure should I have it at when bleeding ? Thanks in advance
No set value, just draw until it runs clear.
Why brake fluid need to be change ?
Hi noticie what Honda only sales lf4 brake fluid thath smells orgánic oil Like the old Castor oil
So do you press down on the brake before or after you break open the bleeder?
Before
👍👍👍👍

So just one question. Does the car have to be on while bleeding the brakes?
No
