I noticed our 2019 has a second rubber stopper to front also, is this for checking the level without jacking up the car ? you can reach it from the front no problem.
Also on a side note a mechanic told me theres a transmission filter inside the transmission pan that needs to be replaced also did you know about this? does this also have to be changed i havnt seen anyone change this out also and alot of newer vehicles have it i think.
There is a secondary cvt filter next to the warmer on the drivers side. Its a small cylinder filter which needs changing every 30k miles. No dealer ever mentions this service
Instead of removing the check bolt to check the fluid level, can I just measure the exact amount of oil taken out and putting back that same amount of the new transmission fluid? Because my Honda Accord 2017 hybrid doesn't have the exact check bolt location as yours, and it seems to be very difficult to find out where it is.
@@user-rq7tt7qv6x ... the CVT has two filters. One is inside the trans pan, so it has to be dropped. Other is on left side of engine. Takes two o-rings along with filter.
i have some sugggestions for next time .. replacing washers is a must, and torquin the bolts are a must..
Honda techs just add 4 quarts, run through the gears then drain off excess at the check bolt.
You did not open the transmission to clean off the internal transmission magnet ? Where is the transmission filter?

Didn’t see u change transmission filter
I’ve seen a few of these transmission fluid change vids and haven’t seen anyone change the filter?
It in front of the motor on the left
Is not necessary, if drain plug only has normal small amounts of metal on the magnet.
Hate CVTs though 😂. The Nissan Primera M6 hyper was a good one when it was new to be honest.
Nissan makes the WORST CVTs on the market.
Would it be possible to fill the transmission through the level check plug with clear tubing and a quart pump?
Yes

only if you know the history of your 2017 Accord. However, if it is a Used car, then it's best to follow procedure.
I received a code to change transmission fluid. Will it hurt to drive a couple of days until i get to mechanic?
IMO, it should not matter.
Do you check it with fluid cold or hot engine off or running
I would imagine with car off, the fuild will be at bottom of trans
If car is on then fuild will be circulating inside trans and will spill out..
How often?
Service interval is 30,000.

Where is the dip stick to check the level?
@@user-rq7tt7qv6x they don’t have a dipstick
