0:42 Correction; after acquiring *four* star maps. In this case, those four being the ones on Dantooine, Manaan, Kashyyyk, and Tatooine (the latter three being in whatever order the player chooses)
I preferred to redeem Yathura Ban. if you do Korriban for your first or second Star Map fragment, you can convince her (with a high enough charisma + persuade) to return to Dantooine and the Jedi Order. You can even visit her when Dantooine is still an available destination.
This is tough to do, though. Not because it's hard in the sense that it is programmed that way, it's because of what you need to sacrifice. The only way you can get him to trust you, is if you refuse to aid Yuthura at all. And hence, you never get the key to Uthar's room. So you are unable to redeem Dustil Onasi with the datapad contained within, nor are you able to get the Sith Mask, which lets you regenerate Force points x2. So it's a double-negative trade for completionists in terms of both item collectors and quest finishers. I'd say it's better to kill Uthar, irregardless of Light Side or Dark Side alignments, just to get the mask, and to complete Dustil's quest.

I think killing Uthar and installing Yuthara Ban as the new Master of the Sith Academy makes much more sense from a storyline point of view as a dark side player character. Yuthara is more likely to be loyal to you in the future because you helped her gain power.
I think it's if not canon, then either quasi-canon or previously-canon that yuthura ban survives and possibly turning to the light side if you convince her. Not sure if the lore is from kotor, kotor 2 or swtor, but I do believe I saw something in that regard somewhere.
@@tabunga4669 : I said 'more likely' to be loyal, not '100% certain' to be loyal. Anyway, a Sith only betrays another if he thinks he is going to be successful. If he is successful, that justifies the attempt. And if the attempt fails, then he deserves the punishment for failure (death).
@@timonsolus yeah. You can see where many sith are respectful or even worship another more powerful sith. If they feel their idol has weakened, then it is considered honorable to fight and attempt to overpower. Failure nearly always means death.
While there is no order to the planets, Korriban is most often saved for last. Not having Bastila generally stalled people from going there early, and Terentatek are quite violent for early game. This isn't rare. This is an extremely common dialogue that many, many people get.
On every dark side playthrough I did it the following order: Tatooine, Manaan, Kashyyk (Leviathan cutscene) then Korriban. Why? Because each planet has its own darkside main questline from low to high with the starmap choices on their own. For example, on Tatooine you have to kill a rare dragon to access the starmap, on Manaan you get the option to kill a planet's legend, Kashyyk forces you to have darkside choices as replies then Korriban where you are a sith. It's kinda logical.

KOTOR I & II are actually two of my favorite games. In KOTOR I I’ve only gone the Path of the Jedi, played as a Sith in KOTOR II though. They were supposed to release KOTOR III and it was going to be Real Time instead of Turn Based. I’m still waiting for it lol. I was thinking they might be planning it because they re-mastered the originals. Star Wars needs another RPG that’s at least as deep as KOTOR but RT instead of TB. With what developers can do today they could make an incredible game but only if it’s not rushed & they give it a big enough budget to have enough ppl working on it so it doesn’t take a decade, but is released as a finished product, not like what so many companies have been doing the last 3-5 years releasing unfinished garbage.
Doing Korriban early is bad because you may miss out on Carth's sidequest. Doing it late as Jedi means you may miss out on the extra Yuthura dialogue on the Jedi enclave. I always try to do it second so I can unlock everything as a Jedi, leave it for last if I go dark side

If I had seen that it was a KOTOR SPOILER I would have stopped reading and could have enjoyed the game much more on my first playthrough. Thanks!
My copy must have been glitched. Whenever I did Korriban last the game crashed and when I reloaded it it would give me this screen saying that I gained dark side, gained light side, net gain of dark side, net gain of light side and a lot of other stuff. It would only happen when I did Korriban as the last planet and only when I entered the final tomb for the last time. As a result I could never get this rare dialogue since I could never do Korriban last. … then again whenever I got into a space battle the shields for the Ebon Hawk would never drain no matter how many times I was shot. 🤷🏻 When I switched from an Xbox to a 360 there were so many auto glitches that the game became unplayable and I had to get rid of it. That was a sad day
This requires a player to be (A) an aspiring Sith, and (B) uninterested in going directly to the Sith homeworld, Koriban. No wonder it's a rare dialogue.

I actually sided with Yuthura & then betrayed her just ebfore the tomb & still got access to his room
@@DarkLOREDash But when I tried to do it, though, Uthar kept trying to kill me because I conspired with her. I didn't get the scene in the video above until I did as I said in the comment above. Then again, it was on the XBOX ONE version, so maybe that affected it?
I need to retry it on the original XBOX, see if it works there...
just fyi T3-M4 can unlock Uthars room. I complete the Dustil quest almost as soon as I get to the academy lol
@@ryantraver1647 Really? I never knew that he could.
@@joshua333ify yup! he's handy like that.
I HAD NO IDEA THIS CHANNEL EXISTED! I used to watch you back with Dash Star back when I was younger and I’m honestly glad your channel popped up in my recommended page 😁
I got that line actually on my first play through 🔥
my man!
Same lol wanted to save korriban 🤷
Haha same my brother 😂 was confused why it was called rare 😂 thought this was just a line most people got to use
I usually visit Korriban 3rd or 4th. I like the "if you were not blind"
Love the kotor vids
This was the path I took on my first playthrough.
I still have both of the original games with intact boxes and guidebook/manual. I never got rid of them, they're so good!
Damn…I always visited Korriban as first planet!
Me too. So much fun
@@DarkLOREDash
I always do Korriban at last.
You can tell Yuthura that you are Revan too. and Canderous's Fifth Dialogue is slightly different if you do that after Revan Reveal. He says 'you' or 'you revan' instead of 'the jedi revan'. Honestly, it feels better that way.
oh man thats so freaking awesome,i didnt even know this dialogue existed,Great video!!
Thank you! Just discovered a tonne more
@@DarkLOREDash I cant wait to see it!!
ive watched two of these videos now and i just realized ive played kotor so much i might actually have done every possible thing in it when i was a kid ;_; . we NEED ANOTHER ONE MADE.
Dude it's sith. No one is safe from each other
@@tabunga4669 : I said 'more likely' to be loyal, not '100% certain' to be loyal.
" loyal" you must not know much about the sith..
The deeper i get into my box of old games the more i love this channel
And for kashyyk, if you go after the revan reveal, the computer doesn’t question you. It just goes “oh hey, Revan! Here’s the star map.”
Back to what you said about the order of planets for the star map Korriban is also the only planet bastila cant go on
I hope 2 gets a remake as well. I also hope we can see judy dench play kreia (in a movie of this)
Judy dench is dead Kreia was voiced by Sarah Kestleman
@@HighFalutinTootin no she isnt
@@troydenbrum2979 isn't Judy dench the actor that played M in 007 skyfall?? If so she passed away

I really hope they remake is really good and they keep to the original story and not try to change it! Especially since that one chick is working on the game it better not turn into a sjw nightmare!
You already know they will. Just accept it.
Don't get your hopes up. I'm prob gonna skip it. The original games are still great.
Oh they will. Bastilla is the saviour and key for winning the war and revan is side character and will get crippled
@@reiiz9942 The funny part about that is that Bastilla was already a strong and important character in the journey of the story.
@@kylewindover7931 yup and they still gonna make her the MC no matter what. Even worse, marry sue her like rey and thus, ruining her great character.
I still wonder why they choose retarded writer for this game who believe episode 8 the best star wars film ever.
The future looks grim and dark. I believe its gonna be ruined or mediocre. If that was the case, I hope there is mod community who is gonna remake the game with OG storyline using the new game engine. Doesn't even need to be perfect, just decent.
I love Uthar’s VA. He’s been in a VERY large amount of Star Wars Stuff.
"I wonder if the remake of SW: KOTOR will have Sleheyron implemented."
God, I hope so!
@@DarkLOREDashI wish they would make kotor 3
There’s also a variant if you play Uthar and Yuthura against each other.
This is one of my favorite ways to play. I love setting that up.
I love doing that and then just killing both of them lol its so ridiculously evil
I think revan is massively underrated in undressing his name in front of others...
I had the Xbox version of KOTOR 2 and i played it many times as the dark side and the light side and with the different classes. Im currently playing it on my phone and i was shocked and surprised at the amount of extra content and dialog i unlocked that i never seen or heard before. I had no idea that Hanharrr was a playable character, i completely forget about the cave in Korriban where you have to be aligned light or dark to enter. I had no idea that Atton can become a jedi. The weapons cache on Duxn that i couldn't enter because i didn't have the right explosives. How could of i missed all this playing the xbox version? So cool.
You have to find 4 first canonically he went to Dantooine, Tatooine, Kashyyk, Manaan then Korriban cause we know he kills Calo Nord on Tatooine and Darth Bandon on Manaan
Nice! Where is that written??
@@DarkLOREDash the Darth Revan novel
I have returned... Bring Academy Master Uthar to me..
I love Thomas Kane's voice so much
I am Darth Revan! Bow before me!
Chad uthar: *Ah.. I see..*
My man couldn't be any less impressed.
idk why I watched it knowing I've played everysingle line of diaologue in KOTOR atleast 3 times in this game... Even me practically being able to act our the characters in this game, doesn't deter from how amazed I am by the characters everytime i play it
Remembering things I found as a kid.
Woah! Had no idea, where'd you learn those gems?
Has anyone ever told you, you sound like Carth Onasi (or rather, his VA)?
I've been told look & sound 🤣 not the worst comparison
This was probably one of the last games I believe I played before, what I'd probably call, The Giant Social Media Boom. So nothing was spoiled to me.
Man this game was so good back in the day.
Revan and bastila are my favorite star wars characters. So much better than the movie characters we presently see
he said "oo cool, you're revan."👸
Ralph Fiennes double haha
Doing Korriban early is bad because you may miss out on Carth's sidequest. Doing it late as Jedi means you may miss out on the extra Yuthura dialogue on the Jedi enclave. I always try to do it second so I can unlock everything as a Jedi, leave it for last if I go dark side
Whoa, Duncan really got around, huh?
Excellent. I love attention to detail like that.
Question. If you played Fallout 4, did you ever find military fatigues in a footlocker in your house after you wake up from the freeze? I did. Confirming our military past.
It was well known that the make character was in the military.
@@CosmicGoku529 I know. I'm just wondering if anyone else found the military fatigues in your original house like I did the first time I played or if it was just random.
I can only assume that he will envy revan whether he chooses the light or dark
I like how we all fan cast Keanu with our avatars
I played through this game probably 50 times since I got it. I figured out everything lol.
Its been a fair bit since I played the first KOTOR, but I'm pretty sure you get unique dialogue for every planet if you visit it after learning you're Revan.
I figured this out after replaying it a few times 👍👍👍
We are revan
Totally did this on my first ever playthrough, didn't think it was rare.
Hey mate I just seen something you posted on reddit a few years back. Did you ever have the chance to ask Sara Kestleman any questions?
Heya! No, unfortunately. It's a long story but I took too long & Sara decided to pull the plug. My bad
@@DarkLOREDash it's all good, I was just searching for her talking about kotor and surprisingly I've yet to find an interview where she has. Man honestly, her performance was grade A, and she was the perfect woman to play kreia.
It is funny that I came across this by accident. I didn't know this was "rare".
Revan: "Surprise, mthafkah"
Uthar: "Ok, go away tho"
What would have been cool is if you are dark side you could have had the chance of recruiting either Uthar or Yuthura as your apprentice depending on which one you let live.
I chose that dialogue on my first ever playthrough that I just completed. I chose the dark side and had a purple lightsaber and red short saber. I even fought through the hellish Hord of Sith to get Revans robes. I killed Malak after 3 tries, I gotta say this game is still a 10/10 in 2024. Im on KOTOR 2 now.
Got this my first play through
I hit Korriban first and found this dialogue. I wonder if this sequence varied between PC and XBOX. I've played both.
Master Uthar is just too nice lol.
I always do it in that order cause all the side quests pretty much line up like that
Damnit I just couldn't wait to get to Korriban...
I have actually went through this particular dialogue maybe 3 or 4 times during all the years of playing the game but I couldn’t remember what was said in the dialogue.
Is this dialogue really that rare? If it is I guess that I got really lucky on my first play through.
I don't think I'll see this dialogue myself anytime soon. That Sith Mask with a Force regen enchantment is too tempting to pick up early.
I’m planning on doing a dark side play through
if you do Korriban last and side with Uthar, does it matter whether you tell him about Yuthura's plan?
Hey, can you go through and put KOTOR SPOILER before the title on all of your videos that have spoilers in the title like this one does? I was careful to avoid spoilers going into this game, but scrolling through RUclips one day I had the plot twist spoiled for me by a video title. If I had seen that it was a KOTOR SPOILER I would have stopped reading and could have enjoyed the game much more on my first playthrough. Thanks!
Many were already aware of it's existence.
Can you get this dialogu on light side if you choose dark side options here only ?
I got this to happen my second time around by accident
My copy must have been glitched. Whenever I did Korriban last the game crashed and when I reloaded it it would give me this screen saying that I gained dark side, gained light side, net gain of dark side, net gain of light side and a lot of other stuff. It would only happen when I did Korriban as the last planet and only when I entered the final tomb for the last time. As a result I could never get this rare dialogue since I could never do Korriban last.
… then again whenever I got into a space battle the shields for the Ebon Hawk would never drain no matter how many times I was shot. 🤷🏻
When I switched from an Xbox to a 360 there were so many auto glitches that the game became unplayable and I had to get rid of it. That was a sad day
My first playthrough I chose Kashyyyk my fourth planet to visit and I didn’t need to do the computer test and the AI was like “What’s up Revan?”
This requires a player to be (A) an aspiring Sith, and (B) uninterested in going directly to the Sith homeworld, Koriban. No wonder it's a rare dialogue.
TL;DW Complete Korriban post Leviathan during a dark side run and work with Uthar after Yuthura reveals her plan to you. From there, choose the correct dialogue.
Could you put the link to this face mod?
The best route is still playing them against each other and then facerolling the two sith "masters"
i played so many times i tested everything possible i think - especially with this encounter which gives so many outcomes. i think the only thing i needed help with was the puzzle in Naga Sadows tomb - but then again i was still like 12yo back then.
First time playing this game currently n I got this dialogue a few mins ago🙏🏽🙏🏽
Aaah, always somehow found myself playing carpe diem and never gave Master Uthar the developpement he deserved. A true gentleman of the sith ahaha
This game is just so fucking good
I always left Manaan last in all my playthroughs, Best place to leave last.... its serene, calm and a final last star warsish adventure before the storm
Played the game 22 times now, and yet I have never sided with Uthar during the fight.
i do these 4 in this order because the first time I fought Calo with the wookies on Kash it was very difficult I even tried fighting Bandon on Kash even that was hard to do
