Hospital. Rest. Back in training // An unconventional professional triathlete first 6 months of 2024

Not quite the start to 2024 that I had planned or you would imagine for a professional triathlete. However, as I am now preparing for a race, I thought I better get back on RUclips to fill you all in!
After an episode in the pool just before the New Year that landed me in hospital for nearly 2 weeks I was diagnosed with Myocarditis; inflammation of the heart muscle. This meant full rest for nearly 10 weeks before I could start testing very light training. At the end of March I was back following an aerobic plan and building my strength and fitness back up. Fast forward a few months and I have entered my first race... Something I did not dare to dream, so here we go. After the unconventional professional triathlete first 6 months of 2024, here's to a more conventional one... And hopefully more videos!
