A really impressive rom hack we have on our hands, this takes the concept on "What if the Sonic 2 Prototype was improved AND real?" and makes it a reality, a concept other rom hacks have taken into their hands to, but this takes it to another level entirely. There's one major problem with this romhack, the level design is trash, plain awful, while the original sonic 2 only had 1 terrible zone(sky chase) this romhack adds even more zones with really bad level design
ooh, adding a small stage before the final bosses was a great touch. You never hear the Death Egg music for more than a couple seconds normally and it was nice to see it get some actual play time.
not really, the music here was composed for a scrapped cutscene and was only used in the zone itself as a mistake, the mystic cave 2p was always supposed to be the music for the "level" part
So faltou isso. Teriamos assim todas as fases e respeitaria a linearidade do jogo. Obrigado por quem leu ate aqui! 😊

THAT NOISE WAS GETTING TO SAY HOLY SHIT RIP MY HEADPHONES 44:47
14:20 after you watch sonic prime. This level is 100% canon lol

Boss Rush Sonic 1 Forever. ruclips.net/video/AjomU_jF9P8/видео.html
I Thought id missed something... so these weren't in the original releases then... lol I thought id missed them in the game
Some phases mentioned: Sand Sower, Casino Night Prototype, Hidden Palace, Wood Zone these are phases that were supposed to be in the original Sonic 2 project. However, they were discarded by SEGA.
I know you're going to say it's a lie, but I passed the first stage of Emerald Hill in 35 seconds.
Não tem a genocide city q pena 🪶🪶🪶🪶🪶🪶
Nessa versão e Cyber City
Ohh it's a rom hack thank God cause I was about to say B.S. or say what version is this from lol I have played the hell out of this game growing up on my Genesis and the PS2 and there are no Secret levels so I'm glad I found out but too bad tho
In this rom hack secret levels were added.
The Scrap Brain 8-BIT opening theme
The thumbnail😂😂
🤣🤣😂
The box in the rock world is like mystic cave
This glitch was removed so I won
The should do the same thing with Sonic 3 & Knuckles by having secret zones
It would be a great idea.
But what zones tho? I don't really think there's a concept art for unfinished levels in s3.
@@rifqy_6614 Knuckles was originally going to go through some different zones from Sonic and Tails, but they may not have been conceptualized.
Edit: There were two of them. The first (5B) would have replaced Flying Battery (in its original position) and the second (10B) would have replaced Lava Reef. Concept art doesn't indicate whether Knuckles would end his game at 10B or Sky Sanctuary.
Sonic the hedgehog 2 really have secret zone?
No. This version is a fan-made rom hack. You can find the download easily, I recommend playing it :)
@@UmGamerDeSonic355 thanks bro:)
a question is it a mod or is it part of the sonic 2 story canon since I never saw these areas
If I'm not mistaken, the Hidden Palace and Wood Zone were phases excluded from the game that were developed by Sega. The reason they are not included in Sonic 2 is because of space on the game cartridge. More or less this story.
@@UmGamerDeSonic355 oh, Ok thanks
Sonic 2 would be much better with these levels
Collect 50 Rings To Open The Hidden Zone
Man I wish that pit didn't kill you
This is a ROM Hack modified Sonic 2 😁. Download in descripition
I think hidden palace was exclusive to the mobile version lf sonic 2 idk of am wrong
Sonic origins
@@littlegamerr2233bro mobile sonic 2 does have 2 of the hidden palace just go to mystic cave act 2 then jump pit (the spike pit). For the other hidden palace, 3 3 3 B 10 10 10 4
Hidden Palace in Sonic 2 is still in the files of the original release on the SMD/SG. It was cut from Origins for whatever reason
Yes
@@littlegamerr2233it was in Sonic 2 mobile first. Origins just ported the mobile versions of Sonic 1+2 to other platforms. And of course that’s simply a finished version of a rather famous level cut from the beta.
I tried going to rock world zone and rock world zone is not real. Still pretty cool, not gonna lie.
This is a rom hack, I left the download in the description. These stages are incredible.
It is actually real but comcept art
Nice😊
Thank you
14:19 wood zone
yes
2:16 uhm.. 😐 this is the music for hidden palce actually..
Both this song and Track 10 were considered for Hidden Palace at various points in the game's production, so they are both correct tracks for that level.
Snowy winter is the sand zone but winter
It's all fake I tried and didn't work 😢
Yea its a rom hack
It's a rom hack
Hidden palace was added in Sonic origins actually, you can find by falling down a specific pit In mystic cave
@@BMinor2020 yea just not the original layout cuz dats unfortunately unfinished
Have you tried going to hidden Palace on mobile? It actually works you have to fall in a pit from Mystic cave act 2 where you have to pull the vine or fall into the hidden palace, but it only works on mobile. If you try on computer, it leads you down to a pit of spikes.
2:13 this is where I died without the romhack in mobile phone
sand shower zone is based off of marge sallon zone in sonic mania
It's kind of the opposite, Sand Shower was a cut level from Sonic 2 that inspired Mirage Saloon (and a cut stage from the 2011 version of Sonic CD)
Hidden Palace Zone is real
6:41 just the same like this 24:56
Thanks
@@UmGamerDeSonic355 you welcome
Well I just wasted two life on the first one 😂
I wonder if all of these are one the mobile and android versions of sonic 2.
Do they have one in sonic origins
if you're talking about the hidden palace zone, then yes.
The hidden palace zone is in origins, the others aren't, you'll have to download a rom version, I just checked and got really excited only to die a bunch lol
So, the secret zones can't be played on Sonic Origins for the switch?
sadly nope.
In these verses no.
